I
flew
in
on
last
night,
arriving
at
the
hotel
around
10:15
pm.
After
I
checked
in,
I
tried
to
contact
the
front
desk
concerning
a
consistent
beeping
which
sounded
like
a
smoke
detector
where
the
battery
maybe
dead.
I
learned
my
phone
didn't
work
so
I
called
the
hotel
from
my
cell
phone
and
explain
the
noise
and
trouble
getting
to
sleep.
A
young
gentleman
came
down
and
he
opened
the
the
door
they
led
to
the
exterior
of
the
building
which
made
a
beep
and
said
that
had
to
be
it.
I
disagreed
because
unless
someone
was
coming
in
every
10
seconds
or
so
that
didn't
seem
reasonable.
An
hour
later
and
continued
beeping,
I
called
the
hotel
again,
it
was
a
different
person,
he
said
he
would
come
down
to
check
it.
I
tried
to
call
back
about
15
min
later,
and
the
phone
continued
to
go
to
VM.
Finally
I
started
to
walk
down
to
the
front
desk,
he
was
in
the
hall
and
acknowledged
he
was
the
one
I
had
spoken
to.
He
was
going
into
several
rooms
and
it
turned
out
the
unoccupied
room
across
from
me,
had
TV
on
blaring
as
the
smoke
alarm
was
beeping.
He
had
no
one
to
help
him
so
I
explained
unless
he
had
to
replaced
the
battery
or
it
wouldn't
stop.
He
said
he
had
no
batteries
so
he
took
it
out
and
that
did
get
it
to
stop.
Gratefully
there
was
no
smoke
or
fire.
In
the
morning,
breakfast
consist
of
coffee
with
lots
of
grounds
in
it,
white
bread
to
toast,
grape
jelly,
some
type
of
orange
drink
several
cereals,
something
that
looked
like
milk
but
not
labeled,
coffee
stirers
in
a
container
with
sugar
caked
in
the
bottom.
They
did
have
one
of
the
hotel
type
waffle
makers.
They
had
no
trays
to
take
anything
back
to
your
room
so
I
just
doubled
up
some
Styrofoam
plates.
An
hour
before
checkout
I
took
a
shower
(2
paper
thin
towels,
no
wash
cloth)
and
after
finishing
up
learned
the
hair
dryer
didn't
work.
I
called
several
times
from
phone
and
the
hotel
#
would
go
to
voice
mail.
I
got
dressed
and
went
to
the
front
desk
where
4
employees
sat
talking.
I
told
them,
again
the
room
phone
didn't
work,
and
now
the
hair
dryer
doesnt
work.
they
said
someone
would
bring
it
down
to
me.
About
20
min
later
a
young
man
brings
a
hair
dryer,
test
the
one
in
the
room,
established
it
didn't
work
but
didn't
bring
tools
to
remove
the
other
so
just
left
it
on
the
counter.
By
this
time
it
is
about
20
min
till
check
out
and
I
asked
if
I
could
get
some
extended
time,
like
to
12:30,
the
young
man
said
maybe
to
1?
He
didn't
see
a
problem.
I
arranged
for
transportation
to
pick
me
up
between
12:30
&
1.
A
little
later
a
woman
comes
down
and
asked
if
I
was
having
an
issue
with
the
A/C,
I
said,
no
it
was
phone
and
dryer,
I
also
reiterate
my
conversation
with
the
young
man
about
staying
longer,
she
said
I
could
not
stay
in
longer
than
11:30.
I
was
shocked,
but
said
ok.
I
could
not
change
my
transportation
to
the
coast
earlier
so,
I
checked
out
promptly
at
11:26
(on
my
receipt)
then
requested
if
I
could
work
at
one
of
the
tables
until
my
ride
arrived,
which
they
allowed.
It
had
to
be
the
worst
hotel
customer
service
experience
I
have
had
in
my
62
years.
I
choose
Wynham,
Hilton,
etc
in
my
travels
because
you
would
think
it
would
be
a
reasonable
stay,
especially
just
coming
off
7
hours
with
the
airlines.
I
couldn't
recommend
them
to
anyone
wanting
to
stay
in
close
vicinity
to
the
airport.
Another
interesting
thing
with
wait
in
the
morning,
apparently
a
lot
of
the
night
employees
live
in
the
hotel.
Just
Interesting!
I
wish
I
had
gotten
the
name
of
the
young
man
who
brought
the
dryer,
he
was
very
pleasant
and
kind,
the
only
one,
sadly.
