Very bad experience. Dirty rooms, small bathroom. found a cake under the bed. Deposit was drawn twice. BE CAREFUL. Never ever choose this hotel. Nothing in breakfast.

This is the worst place I've ever stayed for business. They have the audacity to charge you a deposit on top of whatever your stay is. I was worried about my car being broken into going and myself. I went there to be closer to the job, but for the comfort, style, relaxation, and better customer service, I could have gone somewhere else. Both times interactivity with the front desk was met with rudeness. I won't go back.

This was an awful stay. Extremely dirty and poor maintenance & construction quality. From the elevator seeming to be dangerous upon entering to the outlets having wall texture sprayed on them; this place should be fully inspected and shut down until health and safety items are re-evaluated. All TVs in the rooms were not hung level and had terrible image quality with static on every channel. There were electrical code violations on top of, chicken strips on the floor under the bed when we arrived. This is not healthy environment for babies. I do not recommend

This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. The bathroom was a closet. The sink had no water pressure. The towels looked like they were used. They never gave me new towels, I had to go to the front desk and they only gave me 2 towels when I was staying 5 days. They never cleaned my room. If you had to use the microwave you have to turn off the TV. The TV only had analog channels, so all the channels were fuzzy. The remote for the TV didn't work. There was no breakfast that was advertised. There was no gym as advertised. The bar was never open. And the last day I was there the power went out. Smh. I would never go back again and I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Stayed there overnight on June 23-24. Arrived at the airport at about 9:30 PM. Called for shuttle pickup and they were there within 15 minutes. Check in was uneventful and the staff was really great! Very pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, this where the troubles started. Wanted to get something to drink from the vending machine. Out of almost everything. Just had some things that I don't drink. NOT EVEN BOTTLED WATER was available! Staff at desk was apologetic but there was nothing they could do. Got to my room on the third floor. Room itself was very nice and very clean. Found out that the TV remote wasn't working, and the clock/radio/alarm wasn't working. Went to get ice. Turns out the ice machine on the third floor had been removed. (There was still a sign for it though) Had to go to first floor to get ice. Bunch of little things that added up to be irritating. The staff gets a five-star review. The room and the other items bring everything down to a two-star review.

Pretty good.Wasn't a super amazing hotel like something bougie you would go to. But it's pretty good for it being a 3 star hotel.I was worried because of the reviews that i saw prior to this visit that it was gonna be horrible. The reviews said it wasn't clean, but the employees that worked there cleaned everyday and made sure the place looked welcoming. The hotel is super close the airport and they provide a shuttle (free) that goes to and from the airport. Entering you get hit with the smell of humidity but it wasn't horrible nor bothersome. The receptionist worked diligently and was very patient with us while we had some questions and problems. We struggled a lot with the key cards due to them resetting everyday but the receptionist was spectacular and helped us out every single time. They are bilingual and have lots of bilingual staff ready to help out at any moment. . There was a pool that we used a lot ! They kept it clean and we made sure to have a lot of fun. They also served breakfast which varied from waffles to cereal and etc. They also have a bar I didn't get the chance to go to inside the hotel but the person that usually tended to it was very nice and overall very welcoming. A very enjoyable stay !

So first off, the breakfast buffet and lounge area are permanently closed. You're directed to eat at a biscuit house. The hallways smell of mold and mildew. The emergency stair lights are broken. No wifi password. Issues with the elevator. Positives are a cheap room, and walking distance to a jack in the box. The shuttle is only at prescribed times, 06 -22, after that you are on your own. I picked this hotel as the Ramada has a good reputation, this Ramada Hotel might as well be listed as a flea bag hotel.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE experience! If I could give this a negative number on the star scale I would. Miserable experience with the airport shuttle. Rooms were absolutely not as described (photos must be a decade old because the disrepair is incredible) I booked directly through the hotel (not a 3rd party) but was basically harassed at the hotel for using a 3rd party app and that was their excuse for the discrepancy from what I booked to what I received - even though I was assured that booking through them directly would ensure accuracy. Breakfast isn't served every day? Towels are not always provided?? So most of the amenities you would assume standard or at least as advertised were not true. Additionally, I cancelled my return trip room after my first stay (overnighting in Houston airport would be better than this hotel!) but despite being well with the hotels free cancellation policy - the hotel front desk said they "can't cancel rooms" and after several online attempts to cancel & several phone calls, they told me to email them - which I thought was successful - until the charge showed up on my credit card regardless. So the whole thing left an incredibly POOR taste in my mouth - STAY FAR FAR AWAY!

I have to say we were a little worried about the reviews on here. We had a great experience for the cost. The girls at the front desk were friendly and helped us out. The shuttle picked us up right after we called. The room was clean. We found the beds comfortable and the pool was open and nice and sunny. The TV had lots of great channels as well. We would definitely stay again. Thanks again Ramada

Their service was terrible, my room was clean but the air did not work an I had kids there and a 3 month old baby it was so hot in the room I called the room service to see if they can do something they sent Maintenance but all he did was look and never came back. Called room service again about 12am to see if we can switch rooms she told me no because they had no other rooms available. So we had to stay in a room all night hot . Then to top it off the kids couldn’t have fun swimming because they keep complaining about they need to dry off before entering the building we asked for towels she gave us some but of course that wasn’t enough because the towels they had was wet from drying so many times. The breakfast was nasty they had nothing really to eat but toast, juices, water dry cookies that look old and waffles and cereal , Also the shuffle guy kept Harassing the the kids about the pool from my understanding that’s what they have a pool there for people to swim. Also the next day I ask for some towels and face towels for us and of course we could not get any.. I have never experienced bad service like this at the hotel. I will never come here again

I left a necklace there when I was in town staying and they claim they trash everything after two weeks. I’m sure they did not trash an expensive necklace but enjoy.. also when I stayed, they claimed housekeeping could not enter my rm until I said I was gonna call corporate.. then magically someone was able to come in and clean my rm. pool is nice but I do not recommend!

Hotel was clean. Room was clean. Bed comfortable. Missing the little things. Not enough towels. Small and not enough pillows on the bed. Breakfast is coffee, juice, milk, toast, waffles, cereal, cookies and yogurt. Not terrible but not good either. It’ll do but it’s not the ritz or anything

Everything about this place was horrible! Dirty rooms, limited breakfast, TV channels a joke, lounge was never open, and customer service horrible! Paid for my reservation in advance for a concert and they also wanted a $60 deposit. I called this morning regarding the deposit, and I was getting less than what I paid. The front desk said because the wash clothes were wet with makeup and her exact words were "the stains don't come out" so obviously they have horrible housekeeping too!! Absolutely unbelievable!! Guess now days you can't clean your face with a wash cloth. WORST HOTEL EVER!! DO NOT book this hotel if your in the area!! 100% RIP OFFS!!!

Reserved on the app, checked in at the hotel to find out its a $30 early check in fee and $60 incident fee which is refundable after check out. Get to the room and it wasnt what I was expecting, the pictures on the app look totally different than in person. Paint peeling on the walls in the bathroom, on the ceiling, door hard to open, the structure of the floor is warped so I guess thats why the door is hard to open. So i asked for cancellation or transfer to the other Ramada Inn on Will Clayton and was told I couldn’t cancel and something about its in-house. Had I known about extra fees and how the room looked I would have never booked it. The bar is temporarily closed.

Do not stay here unless you are a pot head. After paying for my children to stay there I noticed a weird odor and realized it was pot. I asked for them to refund my money because I didn’t feel it was a good place for my kids. They said I would of had to cancel 24hrs prior to receive a refund. How was I to know the conditions of a place before I arrive??? DO NOT STAY HERE

I asked for a tub plug to use the bathtub and was told to just use hand towel. The power went out two days in a row for several hours a minor inconvenience but not too bad. However on my second night after moving the garbage I found a nice pile of cockroachs scurrying around.

I flew in on last night, arriving at the hotel around 10:15 pm. After I checked in, I tried to contact the front desk concerning a consistent beeping which sounded like a smoke detector where the battery maybe dead. I learned my phone didn't work so I called the hotel from my cell phone and explain the noise and trouble getting to sleep. A young gentleman came down and he opened the the door they led to the exterior of the building which made a beep and said that had to be it. I disagreed because unless someone was coming in every 10 seconds or so that didn't seem reasonable. An hour later and continued beeping, I called the hotel again, it was a different person, he said he would come down to check it. I tried to call back about 15 min later, and the phone continued to go to VM. Finally I started to walk down to the front desk, he was in the hall and acknowledged he was the one I had spoken to. He was going into several rooms and it turned out the unoccupied room across from me, had TV on blaring as the smoke alarm was beeping. He had no one to help him so I explained unless he had to replaced the battery or it wouldn't stop. He said he had no batteries so he took it out and that did get it to stop. Gratefully there was no smoke or fire. In the morning, breakfast consist of coffee with lots of grounds in it, white bread to toast, grape jelly, some type of orange drink several cereals, something that looked like milk but not labeled, coffee stirers in a container with sugar caked in the bottom. They did have one of the hotel type waffle makers. They had no trays to take anything back to your room so I just doubled up some Styrofoam plates. An hour before checkout I took a shower (2 paper thin towels, no wash cloth) and after finishing up learned the hair dryer didn't work. I called several times from phone and the hotel # would go to voice mail. I got dressed and went to the front desk where 4 employees sat talking. I told them, again the room phone didn't work, and now the hair dryer doesnt work. they said someone would bring it down to me. About 20 min later a young man brings a hair dryer, test the one in the room, established it didn't work but didn't bring tools to remove the other so just left it on the counter. By this time it is about 20 min till check out and I asked if I could get some extended time, like to 12:30, the young man said maybe to 1? He didn't see a problem. I arranged for transportation to pick me up between 12:30 & 1. A little later a woman comes down and asked if I was having an issue with the A/C, I said, no it was phone and dryer, I also reiterate my conversation with the young man about staying longer, she said I could not stay in longer than 11:30. I was shocked, but said ok. I could not change my transportation to the coast earlier so, I checked out promptly at 11:26 (on my receipt) then requested if I could work at one of the tables until my ride arrived, which they allowed. It had to be the worst hotel customer service experience I have had in my 62 years. I choose Wynham, Hilton, etc in my travels because you would think it would be a reasonable stay, especially just coming off 7 hours with the airlines. I couldn't recommend them to anyone wanting to stay in close vicinity to the airport. Another interesting thing with wait in the morning, apparently a lot of the night employees live in the hotel. Just Interesting! I wish I had gotten the name of the young man who brought the dryer, he was very pleasant and kind, the only one, sadly.

Bring your own towels or beg for them! Breakfast was usual. There were no fruits on our first day, not sure if they ran out or just didn't have them. Room keys stopped working after we came from out but we were reissued new ones shortly after. Overall stay was okay!

This hotel was really disgusting. I walked into my room very strong smoke odor. I will say that the bed was comfortable but very thin sheets. The TV is outdated, and the bathroom was really gross. Old and stained towels. I saw the breakfast area and they had a pitcher with orange and apple juice in it which i find very unsanitary. Smh I really expected better since it is closer to the airport. I will not stay here again.

Hallway cleaner than last Wyndham hotel we stay at. Shower clogged up. I reported it to front desk, no result. By room 301, in the hallway, a stench lingered. Towels were transparently thin. Breakfast was limited and waffles had clumps of flour in it, like eating egg shells. Phone and TV don't work. On the plus side, location was great and budget friendly for my extended stay away from home due to an emergency.

The hotel wasn’t bad at all compared to all the other reviews. We had a pleasant stay. The bed was comfy, had all the amenities as a hotel would usually have. We slept amazing, it was really quiet. The only problem I had is the service wasn’t too friendly, other than that I would have put a 5-star review. When you call this Ramada Inn. It’s just a really blunt hello. Sounds like he/she hates their customers.

First, I got the airport almost 11pm, I am very tired after 16 hours flight. I called the hotel for pick up and they said 30 minutes. When the van arrived, the driver said he didn’t have my name and left. I called the hotel again and they said another 30 minutes. The van comes and sent me to another Ramada. I still have to take Uber to the hotel and it’s 12:30AM. They charge $60 extra for deposit which I know they will. But today is 15 days after I stayed in the hotel, I didn’t get my refund yet even they told me they will on the phone. Stay away from this hotel.

Most awful hotel experience of my life. Was told we could check in at 3 pm and when we tried they told us 15 more minutes. But I sat and watched them give rooms to at least 4 others guests who just walked in. We had been waiting there for an hour before hand and just wanted to get to our rooms after a long day of travel. Didnt end up getting a room until 4 pm. This place is poorly managed and not very clean. All the rooms smell like mildew, probably because the bathrooms don’t have fans. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Got stuck in the faa grounding incident this January and found ourselves stuck overnight in Houston. This was the cheapest available hotel we could find that also provided free transport to the airport. HOWEVER, their transportation service is not 24/7 unlike their sister hotel by the same name East of the airport. I unfortunately got the two mixed up, and was very confused and frustrated at 1:30 in the morning. Not the fault of the hotel, just something to keep in mind when booking. I believe their shuttle service stops around 9:30 pm. However getting back to airport in the morning was no problem. We just told them the time we wanted to leave (in 30 minute intervals) and they scheduled a shuttle for us back to the airport. Room was basic, but fine for a night just to sleep. Nothing fancy. The breakfast was okay. Good waffles. A little slow on the restock though.

This is a 2 star dirtbag hotel. I couldn't find one thing good to say about it. Tv wasn't working and when they got it working it was fuzzy. The toilet ran all night. The noise from the freeway. The breakfast was nasty 😒. The pool wasn't heated and freezing. The weight room was useless as the weight pins were missing. The pop machine credit card didn't work and wouldn't take $20 bills. The pit smoker workers outside was gross. The list is endless. Run far away...far away.

Worst hotel ever. Pictures are only to make this place look nice. Horrible landscaping, you enter and have the desk cleark working with her 1 year old child at the front desk. Place smells like moth balls. Fridge doesn't work.sheets stained. Pillows look Horrible and old. Plus roaches. 2 small towels for room only. Go to the front desk and ask for extra towels and can't get none for an hour. Ask maid for towels and she wants old towels to give more. Like I have more than 2 people in my room. This all in the 1st 10 hours of being here. I will never again come or recommend this place. It's a roach motel. If this room wasn't already paid for I would've left. Disgusting. Disgusting. 0 stars for this place Wyndham should be ashamed to put their name on this place.

I would like to gave this hotel 0 star if they allow me to do it. The hotel is dirty and not clean at all. It is 2023, but they still do have room severe to clean the hotel daily. The coffee does not work. No body works in the bar. Room has windows that during the storm all we could hear was wind from windows that where not sealed. Coffee maker was dirt dirty had to wash it and clean it my self just to make coffee. Toilet when flushed would keep running for a extremely long time.

I arrived at 10:30pm at the airport and called the hotel. Their shuttle service works until 11/11:30 according to them. The lady at the front desk, who I later found was a woman named Yamila, refused to answer the phone for a whole half an hour. I called time and time and time again, no answer, sometimes would even hang up on me. Then after half an hour, answered only to tell me that the shuttle wasn't working anymore. Had to pay for an Uber instead. Absolutely dreadful service!

Clean rooms. Comfortable bed. Ideal location . Easy access to beltways 8. Right next door to a restaurant called Biscuit something... It was yuck!! Horrible service and nasty food. So eat B4 you check in.

  • 2/5 Alison F. 1 year ago on Google
Great location to the Airport, but you can tell they do not care about the comfort of their guests. The bed may be the worst hotel bed we've ever slept in. Pillows were lumpy and small. The room had a musty smell and had a damp feeling. On the plus side, it was clean especially after being told they only had 1 housekeeper and it was cost effective. The shuttle driver was also very pleasant. You'd think a Ramada would be better than this.

  • 3/5 Amit G. 1 year ago on Google
Location wise very good. Got at a good price. Service was very bad. We checked in at 1am around. Requested extension for just 20 mins and the lady at the counter was like No you have to checkout at time. Even 1 min delay will cost additional $. That incident brought to this rating.

The hotel was very nice and clean! The staff was very welcoming. It was nice to know a restaurant was very nearby! Thank you Ramada by Wyndham Houston! I would definitely stay there again😊! I would also recommend anyone to stay here!
