Let me start this review off with the positives. The customer service from the front desk was good. Now the negatives: 1. The hotel room was disgusting. It smelled of mildew our entire stay and was extremely humid. The rooms have poor circulation and if you have sensitivity to mold, you will "die" trying to sleep here. 2. Let me emphasize this again; the room was disgusting. The drawers were sticky on the outside. The mattress was stained (see photos). The sheets would sometimes be washed and returned stained or torn. The carpet inside of the rooms had a thin layer of grime on the surface so you must bring/buy flip flops. Hallways smelled gross, sometimes of marijuana or stinky smelling cheese. Guests may be obnoxious and loud in the hallways at 12AM. 3. Room service was inconsistent. Some days we would return to our room with the bed made, but with no body or face towels in our room. The cleaning lady was nice, but it didn't make sense to have to ask for towels 50% of the nights stayed. 4. The area just doesn't feel very safe. Homeless camp outside the front entrance. I saw another comment that they joined in for breakfast by one of the previous hotel reviewers (after we had stayed a night). I'm truly shocked people reviewed this hotel and said it was "clean" and "safe". Not sure what non-existent expectations other guests have. T-Moblie rated this hotel as a 3-star hotel, it simply is not and google gives it a proper 2-star rating. It's not worth it to come here to save a few bucks. Spend an extra 50$/night somewhere else that's more clean, safe, and comfortable.

Had to switch rooms 3 times. First time due to an exploded microwave (before we got in thankfully,) second due to an unusable ac (Houston heat will kill,) and 3rd because of mold in the bathroom. Customer service was the only thing good, even the breakfast was mid. Homeless people ate there too, which is unexpected but good for them ig.

If you are looking for a clean hotel with excellent service. This is the place. The staff did thier job and were at top attitude. Room was clean. Breakfast was among the best hotel breakfast. Very satisfying. Breakfast includes cereal, milk, real juice, coffee, sausage, egg, fruit, toast, among everything else in between. Before food was to run out, cook brought out more food several times. The hotel is not in a good location, but there is a security vehicle as soon as it gets dark and into the morning hours. The hotel is in need of a remodel but is impressively clean. No evidence of roaches bugs or creepy crawlies. And I did look. Room was neat and orderly. Good job, room cleaning ladies. I would visit again to not risk a hotel of a lesser quality.

Hotel needs some serious work. My room was on the 5th floor and it was unbearably hot in the hallway and the weed smell was...Not great. The air conditioner in the room worked, but barely - it was just on the verge of being uncomfortable. The toilet barely flushed. The microwave didn't work. Pros: Staff was nice. Breakfast was varied and constantly restocked. A decent place for a night or two where you basically only need a place to sleep.

This place very much wants people to give them a great review, to the point that they put up QR codes in the elevator that take you to their review site. Even the wifi code is them asking for a good review. I am not making that up. This place kept asking for a good review, but did absolutely nothing to earn it. The place is run down and not well maintained. The best part of the place was the lobby, and even that had a few issues like a light fixture that looked ready to fall apart. It only got worse once I was past the lobby as there was damaged paint, peeling wallpaper, and ripped carpet in multiple locations. The whole floor my room was on smelled funny, and the odor only got worse when I entered my room. The only good thing about my room was the bed, which was thankfully in good condition. The same can not be said for rest of the room. One of the doors was ready to fall off of a cabinet, the sole chair in the room was literally falling apart with torn up faux leather and a missing arm, and the faucet in the shower was so corroded that I had to fight to raise it up partially to take a shower. The only good thing about this hotel was its lower price, and the nice person at the front desk, but everything else was poor. Thankfully I was only here for one night, and was able to book it out of here after that.

Very rood front desk younger last. I was 20 minutes late to extend my stay and she had the audacity to say my newborn baby and I needed to get out of the room immediately until it was paid (which did not make any sense),very rude with an attitude. Hallways were 90 degrees hot and dirty carpet floors. Also there were a lot of bedbugs, would never go back there...gross.

first two days my room was not clean. no fresh towels. I have to go to the count for fresh towels. I asked why no one clean my room. was told they going to take care of it. not until the third day that the room was clean.

We stayed 5 days at this hotel and the location is very convenient. The rooms were mediocre. The most negative thing we experienced was roaches. Every night we spotted little roaches either in the bathroom or the bedroom. I have been to many hotels and never experienced this issue. The only positive thing I have to say besides the location was the female desk clerk that apologized, moved us to a different room and gave us a nice discount for the trouble.

Short version: They stole my $200 headphones and then gave us the runaround. Rooms were bad, even for the money. Please feel free to look through my other reviews online - I write quite a few, and basically never give anyone 1 star. However, this stay was exceptionally unpleasant - from minor inconveniences like our key cards failing to work partway through the stay, to rooms that had mold due to water from the AC units leaking into the floor. The cherry on top of this with the hotel staff STEALING my $200 headphones and then giving us the runaround for a week before finally being told that they'd been "thrown away" by housekeeping. Long version: I left my headphones hanging on the lamp in our room during our stay here, but forgot to grab them when we checked out around 9am. A couple of hours later, I realize they were missing and my wife immediately called the hotel to ask if they'd found the headphones. "Housekeeping is currently on lunch break, but we will give you a call back later." Seems reasonable enough... But we never heard back. So she called again the next day. The staff said that they would check the lost and found for us. "Unfortunately we do not have your headphones," they said. "The woman who cleaned your room is off for the next two days, but we will ask her when she gets back." The writing is on the walls at this point, since it should've been a breeze to get the headphones back. We had told them exactly where the headphones were and had called before the room was probably even cleaned. My wife then proceeded to call back over and over after we still never heard from the hotel. She tried numerous times over the course of the week to reach someone at the hotel, but had no luck. Nobody would even answer the phone. Finally, after a week of this nonsense, she called from my phone (which has an out of state number) and someone answered. She explained the situation to him and was then informed - no kidding - that housekeeping would have thrown away the headphones if they had been found. "I was told by the head of housekeeping that everything gets thrown away." Biggest load of nonsense I've ever heard. And nothing I can do about it, which is incredibly frustrating (especially since we actually live in Houston). I am sure other branches of this hotel chain are fine... But I would genuinely rather stay at a seedy motel than this place because at least then I'd expect things to be as bad as they are here.

If I’m being honest I think overall the only good part of this hotel was their service. Staff are kind and respectful. The only big major problem of this hotel are the rooms. I came on what is a sort of like a business trip with many relatives and known people. Many of these rooms were disgusting. There are bed bugs and roaches everywhere. Bathrooms need repair they are rusty and many of the doors do not lock. Great service but hotel really needs some work

The first hotel room on the 4th floor was dark and gloomy with dirty rugs throughout. The refrigerator plug was out from the wall and the stench was unbearable once the door was opened. Wonderful young man moved us to another room which appeared to be much cleaner. We went out and returned in the evening and found roaches running throughout the room including the bathroom and shower. Left the premise the next morning after having to stay the night with all the lights on. Manager agreed to reimburse half of the night stay and refund the days we didn’t stay. I think the hotel needs complete rooms renovations with exterminating services.

It’s a 2 star hotel, and thats exactly what you can expect. Don’t expect a luxurious hotel with all kinds of extra benefits. For just 2 nights it had everything you need. Rooms were ok and clean. No stains in the bed sheets, no bed bugs and no roaches! Mattress was a little to soft. Breakfast was ok, complementary so waffles, yoghurt coffee etc. Neighbourhood was a little strange with a closed ATM drive trough that is now a house for some people. Would stay again when needed.

Rooms are small in comparison to another location not to far away, AC didn't work curtains were falling off rod, pool was filthy. Did switch me to another room but was charged after I left for who knows and if it was incidentals that would be absolutely ridiculous because of the condition the room was in upon arrival which was noted. Place is on the cheaper side but at some point a little bit maintenance and cleaning would go a long way. The main halls had A/C problems as well, horrible experience waste of money. Would have refunded but already spent close to $600 to get room the that would have taken 3-5 business days to be refunded which would have meant i would've needed to spend another 600 or so to find and check in another place. The hotel it across from a run down Wells Fargo where homeless live now. If you're reading this just find another hotel/motel

This was my very first time staying here and this was booked last minute online. We came in from Austin just to hang out for a day my wife and I and the price was reasonable so I booked it and pulled up. Everything was cool the lady on Saturday night 9/30 was really nice I don't know her name and the lady when we checked out on 10/1 Sunday was nice as well didn't get her name either. as far as the room you can tell it hasn't been updated but that was ok maybe that reflects the price which I was fine with we got a king size bed since that's what we got at home and I am tall like 6"4" so a king size bed is preferred. Everything was clean and NO BUGS or ROACHES of any kind at all for the night we was there. You can tell they take really good care of the rooms even though they are outdated as long as everything works which it did cold AC water pressure was great for a shower, sheets were clean then we were happy. Just needed a spot to lay our heads really we didn't need anything fancy they had complimentary breakfast which is from 7am to 10am we didn't make it, we was too tired and ate somewhere else when we checked out. We will definitely come back if we are in the south west area of Houston again no complaints at all. They also have some eating spots I saw with in a short drive or walking distance we saw Jack in the box, KFC and Denny's is like 300 feet from the hotel or so.

Hotel 10/10 Location-wise hotel is nearby so many food choices, <20 min from Chinatown and Hong Kong City Mall. Many food choices <15 min, I recommend double checking operating hours, seems most places close by 10pm. Walmart is a few blocks away. Parking Ample, secure, safe parking. Check-in Easy peasy, Calvin was down-to-earth, courteous, patient and very helpful. Room 10/10 Our king suite can easily fit a small cocktail party, very spacious, well stocked, all applicants and outlets work. Breakfast Bfast inclusive with stay, items include eggs, sausage patty, waffles, gravy + biscuits, toast, muffins, cereal + milk, juices, coffees + tea. Stay Hotel atmosphere is generally quiet, we would hear doors slam but it’s not a obscene disturbing level. A few blocks around perimeter of hotel lost power for a few hours due to unforeseen circumstances, hotel staff were very apologetic for the inconveniences.

I typically enjoy this location because of the staff my recent visit Antoine and the young black man with the dreads was absolutely professional and considerate me and my family are long term members I do not like seeing people be mistreated because of their race or they are given an extra hard time simply because of laziness which was experienced in our last visit with the African-American woman in the front she made zero attempts to actually help but tended to cater to her own race which is not acceptable in any business nor is it acceptable and normal every day human activity whether you are working or not you do not make peoples already stressful time even worse on purpose simply because you are lazy some of us travel from very far places and can stay absolutely anywhere they want and here we are giving our money to choice and giving them our loyalty hopefully this is corrected

Well the hotel staff are more than great pretty friendly and accessible. The only issue is that the hotel needs to be renovated and implement strict rules about smoking inside the hotel even though it says smoke free

I was just there for the 4th july. The stay was horrible me and my best friend seen 5 roaches. We called the front desk and they told us the only thing they could do was switch our rooms. The microwave did not work only number that was working on it was 2. The elevator was on its last leg, I’ve never experienced something like this before. The manager was nice but the employees was very unprofessional and rude.

I stayed a week. It was a great experience. The hotel was very well maintained. The breakfast was good. I experienced friendly staff from the beginning to the end. Romeo at the front desk did a great job. He was very friendly, professional, and represented Comfort Inn, and Houston in the best possible way. I would stay here again.

Management keeps the outside of building looking nice, and the inside is a different story. Our room had a broken toilet, water leak onto bathroom floor. AC unit was set on lowest setting and the room never dropped below 80 degrees. Bed mattress, sheets, and comforter all covered in blood stains.

Very dated, bit reasonably clean andnthe front desk was friendly. It's pretty noisy being so close to the expressway. Furniture was in disrepair.

The cameras in the parking lot give you a great feeling of security that your belongings are safe. I would have given 5stars if they actually had cameras that worked. I would then have someone else paying $1609 to repair my back bumper 🤬

I was here less than 24 hours, and was parked in the very first handicap parking (where a camera was facing) and between 8am-11am my catalytic converter was stolen. Come to find out NONE OF THE CAMERAS ARE REAL OR ACTIVATED!!!! No one saw anything or HEARD anything. (Seems like an inside job!) and hotel can’t and won’t help with any theft happenings. They didn’t really seem to care. The front office staff parks in the fire lane right near the front door because she doesn’t want her dodge charger broken into.(she told me this!) She also said it’s not the first time this has happened to a guest. You would think they would activate those cameras if it always happened. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!
