I was stuck in Houston for the night. (Side PSA: avoid United Airlines if at all possible). The reception at the front desk was lukewarm at best. The room was spacious and comfortable, though very outdated with its brown carpet and bathtub. But what bothered me the most about the hotel was breakfast the next day. I suspect that the staff gets a commission for every buffet they sell, and they're willing to scam guests in order to get it, so beware!!

Due to a canceled flight 7/25/22 ✈️ I was left in a bind but my night was made better by the service, energy and accommodations provided by Pierre once I arrived. I called in advance to request the shuttle pick up a door 115 and the driver was friendly and arrived promptly. Pierre also advised on the best way to book a room. My room was immaculate and on a high floor - 10. I’m eager to try the buffet breakfast and see the lounge in the morning. It’s almost 1am I’m writing this review now as a testament to the front desk team with Pierre being a standout!

Staff at this hotel is incredibly horrible. Don’t look at you, acknowledge you, talk rudely. Check other reviews and you will this consistent. I had an issue with water in my room (another consistent complaint you will see in other reviews) and it was never resolved nor was any action taken to make it better. In my two night stay I was unable to take a shower. Would have had a better experience at some cheap motel. Really disappointed. If you complain to parent company, they do respond and I’m following up with them.

After missing my 1st flight to join family for my sick mother, who soon after passed, United airlines connected me with Sheraton to take care of my stay while I waited for my rescheduled flight. They immediately gave accomodations needed after a 3 hour drive. A 2 hour delay, followed by other distress. They made sure I had transportation to airport the following day. And did not make me wait long. Thank you so much. Comfy bed. Much needed hot bath. And the view from my room had a lovely nice looking pool I would have enjoyed if my circumstances would have been different. Thank you for all your help.

The maintenance is terrible! After two days of asking, these items were still not repaired before I departed. As you can see, I had to take the toilet top off to make the water fill up so I could flush the toilet. There was no hot water for the sink because the handle did not work and the refrigerator leaked water on the carpet.

My mother & I came here for a conference and were were immediately welcomed at the airport by the Sheraton shuttle who was a very kind gentleman that carried & stored our luggage. Upon arriving at the hotel, the front desk warmly greeted us & ensured if we needed anything to reach out. During our stay we ate at both restaurants, we had DELICIOUS food & again, SUPERIOR service!!! We met the manager (Shannon) whom was also extremely kind & welcoming. Overall, this was a very pleasant experience!

I chose to stay at this hotel according to its “4 star” rating due to a missed flight. I am utterly disgusted by the lack of cleanliness in the shower - see picture attached. There was hair from precious guest still all over shower walls. The shower pressure overall was measly. Completely underwhelming. The shower curtains were mediocre at best. I’m surprised there is no mold in them. I am so utterly disappointed that a Sheraton near the airport could be this abysmal. I’d like to talk to management about the cleanliness of the shower and get some sort of compensation.

We only stayed here because of their shuttle runs 24 hours to the airport. Pros: 24 hour shuttle, bar in hotel, good shower pressure. Cons: The hotel is old needs a face-lift, the rooms wouldn't get very cold and was super humid, the beds are doubles not queens, and for some reason the fitted sheet didn't cover the whole bed ??? We would stay here again only if we needed the shuttle service.

We had a conference at this hotel with around 200 people. The general manager along with his team are outstanding and went above and beyond to make our experience great! From the management to the cleaning staff, everyone was friendly and caring. The facility was also very nice. The ballroom and conference rooms have a beautiful professional vibe to them. And the staff prepared the rooms as requested. The guest rooms were also very clean and nice. Awesome beds! Highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed there the other day for business trip, hotel and room in nice condition. The problem is the staff. When I got to my room A/C was pumping away but room would not cool below 77. Called front desk and was told an engineer would be up. Waited for an hour no show, called front desk no answer, sent text through app no response. Had to go to bed due to early flight, has to say it was the worst night sleep in long time. Complained at checkout guy at front desk was nice said he would put 20,000 point on my account. Well true to form no points showed up. Beware of this place, looks good but no customer service and staff lies to you, no wonder their rating is low!

I went there to have lunch with my brother before I flew off. It was really good food I enjoyed it very much. We ate at the bar and the wait staff and bar staff were very very nice.

Front desk was very friendly and accommodating. Lobby was comfortable providing plenty of seats for lounging or waiting to check in. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was also good. The sitting areas outside were clean and provided nice shady areas that you could sit to be out of the sun. I would have given 5 stars except for a couple of things.. Housekeeping did not come clean the room during the day and we did not have a microwave in the room. Otherwise, it was a very nice stay.

I will start off by saying that the biggest issue I had was with the water in the room. Your choices for the shower are cold or lukewarm…we called engineering twice (first time was a no show, second time we were told that you “just have to let it warm up”). So after trying to let the water warm up, it got ALMOST hot…for 5 minutes before going back to barely warm. It made showering a very unpleasant experience to say the least…on top of that, the water pressure fluctuated so much that it was barely even a stream at some points. Aside from the water, we noticed that the fitted sheet on the bed did not fit…which wasn’t a huge deal until we woke up and had to fix it daily because it would scrunch up. The air conditioning in the room was decent but seemed to only work half the time as I had it set to 68 but woke up sweating to 74 degrees in the middle of the night (not operator error). I am happy about the in-room coffee maker but surprised that the rooms do do not have microwaves.

Very clean rooms and comfortable beds. Great breakfast. Easy Free Parking. Outdated building but did not bother us since well maintained and clean. Will book again when visiting Houston.

In need of a slight update but overall perfectly sufficient for the mostly one-night airport stays. The breakfast was surprisingly tasty and the breakfast staff was excellent!

We went for a conference. The staff was 10/10. Very nice, accommodating, patient and they took pride in their work. And the food was impeccable. I'll be going to see if they have any bread pudding during the week. It was just that great! Overall keep up the exceptional works!

Haven't stayed here in a while and I was pleasantly surprised that they have kept this hotel up pretty well. I chose to stay at the airport on NYE to get away from the fireworks before I worked s long flight and it was quiet and just what I needed. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Thank you Destiny at the front desk for being so welcoming even when I arrived late in the evening ☺️.

I'm here for cancer treatment at MD Anderson. I wanted to be safe and rest in a comfortable bed. This hotel provided all that. Staff was warm and accommodating. Only one issue about my stay... 🥺ANOTHER GUEST IS OR WAS SMOKING MARIJUANA AND CIGARETTES IN THEIR ROOM!! Unfortunately the smell woke me and gave me a terrible headache at 2 in the morning. I wish people respected the non smoking room policy.

The king suite had a nice layout, and was nicely decorated. The bathroom fixtures were a little worn, and needed a touch up there. However, I was there for an event, and the staff was wonderful, helpful, and accomodating. Even the plated conference meal was delicious!

I can't thank the staff enough for making sure my daughter and I were taken care of! Our flight was canceled last minute)didn't find out till at the airport) and the staff at the Sheraton jumped into action and got us picked up via shuttle within 10 mins! They allowed for us to check in to our room immediately! We had a lovely breakfast and enjoyed lunch at the double tree across the road. We also spent a little time at the bar. Chips were made fresh! Pool has been maintained well and was very relaxing! I will most definitely be back when we travel to Houston again! Thank you for making our extra day of travel manageable!

Amazing staff. Shuttle to airport comes VERY often and he makes announcements, unlike other locations that just park and leave without notice. Their gift card system wasn't working fully but that wasn't their fault. Food in the diner was great. Their Marriott app isn't working for ordering pillows and etc to the room yet. Overall great experience

A little run down. I wanted to take a bath, but my tub had stuff peeling on the bottom of it which didn't seem right. I wish the bar had hard cider or something other than beer and hard liquor! Breakfast buffet was good and well stocked. Lounge leaves a little to be desired. Staff was great. We loved Crystal!

Staff is great. Bar/restaurant fair prices and nice staff. Delicious food. Rooms are always clean. Breakfast buffet is very good. Airport shuttle drivers aren’t the best.

This review is not about the hotel itself. The hotel was fine. Not bad for an over night layover in Houston. And the location was good. This review is mainly about the service I received from the hotel receptionist at night. Her name is Tiffany. I am not one to write reviews but Tiffany was absolutely the most horrible customer service experience I have ever received in my life. And when I asked to speak to her manager, her manager justified Tiffany’s attitude. She spoke to me very harsh rude after asking a simple question. She took the situation from a simple question to an awful and hostile situation. And the worst part is she continued to talk to me horribly right in front of her manager and when I pointed it out to the manager all the manager could tell me was “I understand where you’re coming from but that’s just how she talks.” So that tells me that Sheraton is perfectly ok with having rude people greeting their tired guests after 12 hours of air travel because “that’s just how she talks”. Do better Sheraton! and If you’re visiting at night stay away from Tiffany! She won’t want to answer any of your questions nicely.

I was very impressed with your bar/restaurant recently when I was laid over during a recent rain cancelation of my flight, luckily got one of the last rooms! Your bar was slammed with late night arrivals of hungry people and I was sitting there enjoying a honey chicken pistachios salad that was delicious and beautiful! I was impressed by the way the bartender, manager and waitress all handled so many people so smoothly and all the food came out with compliments from the people that enjoyed it. So KUDOS!

Fine hotel for our overnight layover. Shuttle was quick and easy to and from the airport. Staff was friendly. Our bed was comfortable but kind of weird that there wasn’t a fitted sheet—just a top sheet draped over that moved overnight. Other wise very easy stay
