When 1st arriving upon the location everything was great. Customer service was wonderful as we checked in our room, and our room was well sanitized and well cleaned.. During check-in we requested housekeeping!!! However even after calling down to the front desk to request housekeeping yet again 2 times they failed to clean our room for 2 nights. The hotel claim we didn't receive housekeeping due to the hotel being short of staff due to Covid19, I can't see how this would be our problem when this is a huge establishment and they didn't inform us ahead of time once we arrived back to our room that it was not clean. Our room was filthy with trash, sheets, and towels that were dirty from the prior 2 nights before, I was highly upset. Once calling down to the front desk to place my complaint, we were promised a complimentary 1 night stay for our highest night charged along with honor points to be credited to my Hilton account. I have yet to see the refund to my credit card that reflects the difference in the price to the room, or the points added to my Hilton Honor account‼️‼️ DO NOT STAY HERE, I WILL NOT STAY AGAIN

The management and front desk person are exceptional with the way they treat their guests. My family and I had an issue with checkin, as the digital key had a message of my room not being ready. Issue: it was 2 hours past the time I was supposed to have my room. I was tired and needed to rest for an important meeting the next day. Without hesitation I was given a room and superbly taken care of by the hotel staff. I’m very happy and would highly recommend this location. Oh, I walked into my room and it smelled like a sanitized, but yet calm suite. 🙏🏽

This hotel is located on the side of the highway, which is very noisy. So if you are staying here ask for a room on an opposite side of the highway. The window did not have a blackout blind, which is a miss for this location. I had police cars blinking lights flashing through the window and bright spot lights from a gas station across the highway. The little white blind on the window is not good for these conditions. The walls are thin, I was awaken by a TV going in the neighbors room. The room doesn’t have a single usb charger outlet. It’s crazy for this day and age, huge miss. The staff was polite, but seemed unempowered. Had to text the manager for every question. The room was clean though. Overall, not a place I would chose to stay again, primary reason would be how noisy it is. Good night sleep is a must.

I don't write reviews often, but the staff here are so wonderful. I had an overwhelming day and dropped my full coffee coming in. The two lovely women and the front desk did me an act of kindness and surprised me with a replacement of my exact order, just to cheer me up! The rooms are nice and clean, and the service is phenomenal! I'll be returning the next time I have a trip this way. Thank you again to Denise and Heidi for being so compassionate!

Great Property, exceptional service. I have stayed at this property four times and have had a great experience every time. A very nice, clean room every time. Very competitive room rates, great breakfast choices. I needed a place with decent access to the Heights in Houston and I have found this to be the best choice by far. I had an occasion to book a room this spring and had to cancel at the last minute. The Hampton staff refunded all charges even though I was beyond the cancellation deadline.

I strongly advise against staying at this hotel due to multiple issues we experienced during our stay. The hotel's location is not suitable for the price point, and the room furniture was dirty and unusable. The placement of the coffee maker in the restroom was inconvenient, and the air conditioning unit was too noisy and should be turned off while sleeping. Additionally, a train located in front of our room made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

Fast and easy check in . Front desk staffs were very nice and professional . Plenty of parking . You can either park inside gate or out front ,we parked inside the gate . Location of the hotel was great , right off the highway ,easy access to everything only thing is , it's loud from the traffic . Rooms were decent size and very neat and clean . We stayed for 4 days , we didn't want house keeping but did ask for new towels and trash bags each day . Breakfast was ok . They have the traditional free hot breakfast that consist of scrambled eggs ..sausage .. potatoes one day , and egg omelette and sausage Patties and potatoes another .. along with of course the cold cereal , fresh cut up fruits , breads and bagel , yogurt and oatmeal . They also have 2 waffle machines .. overall my stay here was pleasant .

Our main issue was that the walls, floors, and ceilings in this place must be made out of paper; our amorous, noisy, and stamina filled neighbors were impossible to ignore between about 1:30 and 4 am. Also there's a train that goes right by the place every couple hours, but between 1:30 and 4 am the noise from the neighbor's drown it out. Other than that the rooms were clean and well appointed and the one staffer who was working was very pleasant and helpful. It would have been nice if management had staffed more than one person on a busy Saturday night as she was overwhelmed. We won't be returning.

Digital key did not work at this property. Front desk clerk indicated this is an ongoing problem for some time yet property has failed to resolve it. I communicated with both the property manager and Hilton Honors who refused to honor the 100% Happy Hampton Guarantee. Contactless arrival and digital key were both advertised but not available. Hotel management felt providing me with plastic room key was adequate and that I shouldn’t be bothered that the digital key wouldn’t work.

Please make sure you guys read this before checking in this hotel, don’t let it happen to you !!!! Went for the weekend to Houston to visit family, saw the reviews and a lot of the reviews where great Definitely thought it was going to be a great stay also because there was so many nice places around the area. Clearly we were WRONG ! Friday night as soon as we checked in my first transaction apparently did not go through, I tried a second time through Apple Pay did not go through as well . I then decided to check my bank and saw that the transaction was already taken out twice. The lady helping me at the front desk that night said the transactions where not going through which seemed odd to me due to the fact that my bank had showed me it was taken out twice. The lady proceeded to tell me if she could enter the card info manually I still agreed which by then I should have known. Her “manually” entry went through, that’s when I noticed the card payment processor turned off and turned back on which I let them know there machine had turned off they ignored what I had told them. Saturday and Sunday came up but each day we would remind them, the day of check out which was Sunday I reminded them again, that my bank showed they took out the transactions 3 timesss. As well they where really bad at informing us where it was allowed to park since the day of our arrival our truck got towed because they did not inform where we could park, which we where able to get our truck back after paying of course. The tow truck guy did inform us that the hotel should have refunded us that amount of our towing truck, we asked the security they have “taking care” of the cars outside and he mentioned to us “it happenes all the time” ok if it happens ALL THE TIME, then inform us, we should have known then that it was a NO to stay at this hotel. I have called every single day and have not heard back from the hotel, they say they will let the manager know. Today I called and the person I spoke too let me know that they always ask people to either pay with credit card or Apple Pay because debit cards are always an issue, the 3 days I stayed there no one said one single thing !! So how do they expect there guests to trust ? I have asked several times to speak to the manager in person and on the phone and they ignore the fact that I ask to speak to a manager !!! They need to either start hiring people that actually know what they are doing because this has been a definitely no !! They asked me to call Friday again and I would hear of a response. How are we able to even travel and have a good time if we can’t even trust places like these ?? Terrible service !!!

So pleasantly surprised with this super clean pet- friendly Hampton Inn. Breakfast was amazing - waffle makers, eggs, sausage, breads, yogurts, cereal, fruit, cl variety of coffee. Dog potty break areas and gated secured parking area were bonuses.

A well-deserved shout-out to Ms Selena Torres, Sales Operation Manager, who came through with flying colors to arrange a conference room for 50 on less than 24-hr notice. Accommodations & amenities were top notch, and her professionalism and attention to detail made it easy to say "YES" to the deal. Selena is a true asset to the Hampton Inn team. Seek her out.

I had no issues with this hotel. The property was clean and the room was comfortable. They offered free hot breakfast as well. I do want to note the honeydew fruit was old and gross. Overall, pretty good experience.

The primary issue we faced was the poor sound insulation of the walls, floors, and ceilings in this location, which seemed to be as thin as paper. Our neighbors, who were amorous, noisy, and seemingly full of boundless energy, were impossible to ignore between approximately 1:30 and 4 am. Furthermore, there was a train passing by the place every few hours, but the noise generated by our neighbors during the same time period drowned it out completely. Aside from this inconvenience, the rooms were spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished. The sole staff member on duty was exceptionally kind and helpful. However, it would have been preferable if the management had scheduled more than one person to work on a busy Saturday night, as the sole staff member appeared to be overwhelmed.

Overall, I enjoyed our stay. It was just my daughter and I and I felt super safe. The staff was friendly. There was an indoor pool (although it didn't seem to be heated) which was a selling point for my daughter who loves to swim. The location was good- about 15 minutes from the museum district. There's a Denny's in the parking lot which was great- easy access. The hotel has a great hot breakfast from 6am to 10am. Also offer to-go cold breakfast bags. Check out is at 12pm which is fantastic! The bed was so comfortable. Although the hotel was right by a train track and the interstate it was sooo quiet!Often seemed like we were the only ones there- until we went to get breakfast and saw everyone lol. I will definitely recommend them and stay again. My only downs were: -the bathroom floor was leaking water every time we took a shower. I had towels all over the floor as I almost slipped twice before discovering the issue. I did notify the front desk -The hotel is being renovated so there is stuff all over the place. When we checked in the pool was supposed to be open and not impacted with construction but there were some hiccups. It finally fully opened Friday evening -It was cold in Texas all weekend. The heat in the room wouldn't kick on for a while. Thermostat only went to 75. The room would, seemingly randomly, get warm here and there in very short bursts -there was construction on Sunday in the area which impacted us being able to get Lyfts or Ubers, not the hotel's issue, but an issue nonetheless

Great hotel, friendly people who really care about you, showed up, got recognized as LifeTime Diamond, Ginny said she had not met many of that category at all. Beds are comfortable, had lots of restaurants close by to choose from, they had a list made up by category, it went well. Fitness room is clean and the machines WORK. what a pleasant surprise. highly recommended.

Good experience from check in to departure. I had a long stay and the breakfast had many options and varied thru the week.

If you would prefer not to shower with bugs don’t stay here. I informed the concierge of this issue with bugs in the shower and he laughed…. After I told him I’d like a new room he gave me a hard time about it and then put me in one room over???? Bottom line there’s plenty of hotels in Houston DON’T STAY IN THIS ONE.

Overall stay was good - Breakfast was hot and they ensured there was enough available during busy times. - Stayed +3 days. Room was never cleaned, but towels were brought up. We did ask for room to be cleaned. - Lamp in room was broken (bulbs were out and outlet didn’t work on lamps) advised several times and on 3rd time they advised that maintenance wouldn’t be back until after we left - Power went out during a storm, but came right back on. However, the wifi did not. Called the front desk and they said call the AT&T help desk. Called them and they were only able to put in a ticket. Wifi was fixed next day - Hotel was overall pretty quiet, despite it being next to a main road. I stayed close to the front of the hotel.

The hotel was in a great location for what we wanted to do while in Houston. The staff was great. Very friendly. The breakfast had choices. I'm guessing the earliest breakfast eaters have more choices, but even the last hour have several things to choose from. The room was clean and beds were comfortable.

Great, quality hotel in a good location for a descent price. The breakfast was fresh, the staff were helpful and our room was just right. Even after the power went out on our last night, they made it right by giving us a refund for a part of our stay. Well done! We’re definitely going to be recommending this location and checking out other ones in the future.

It wasn't terrible however, the bed wasn't all that comfy. I stayed for two nights and my back is killing me now because of it. Not only that but the shower head had build up but worked- the drain on the other hand was definitely clogged and needed to be clean. Also if you're someone who needs it to be quiet make sure you request and even number room. There are train tracks that run right behind the hotel. I sat and watched the trains through my window for a while. I didn't mind the noise but they came buy pretty often. One of the front desk ladies was not nice, I came in from a late night and asked to get a late check out for the next day since I forgot when I checked in. I am a Dimond member and she didn't even bother to look at her bookings. Just told me they needed all the rooms and couldn't do it. I called the next morning and new woman working was super sweet and gave me the late check out. Other that that it was a place to sleep for the weekend and it did the job 👍🏻

I've stayed at this location twice now. The rooms were clean both times and the staff was always friendly. I unfortunately left my necklace there this time, and I let the staff know as soon as I realized it. They took their time to look for it for me, and called me back. I plan to stay here the next time I'm in Houston.

Had a great stay. Checked in by Katie who was capable, courteous and professional. I had spoken to Katie earlier to advise of a late check-in. She was very personable and sweet. Rules were clearly displayed and communicated. Was asked about room cleaning preference. Room and bathroom were clean at check-in. Continental breakfast was very nice. The attendant was very helpful and kept everything clean and complete. Overall great stay. *Price was a little exorbitant due to a nearby TPN event, the only negative of the stay.

The stay was nice but do not shorten your stay. The third party I booked with processed contacted the property to process my refund. I booked the first week of December and still nothing has been done. Third party said the property will Email. I'm still waiting on my refund. Call the property no answer. *This is to notate that The situation has been rectified.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was clean, fresh, and up to date. The water was hot with good pressure too. The property was very quiet considering the Dennys right next to it. The breakfast was good too. The only concern that I have with the property is that my digital keys didn't work after hours with the side doors to access the building. It didn't even work with the front door either. I arrived after 2 am and there was no one at the front desk to let me in either. We had to wait to be let in. I feel that the gated feature provided an added layer of security and I appreciated that, but not at the expense of having to walk from the back of a dark parking lot to the front door to be let in. I think that if this issue could be resolved this would be a very awesome property.

Hampton inn, overall stay was good. It started with the issue while check-in time though. I used my credit card at Houston downtown parking and it did not read the card correctly. Bank thought suspicious transactions and was not able use the card at the hotel check-in. One of the staffs, was little impatient and declined check-in and called his supervisor. She patiently listened to me but politely mentioned that the we won’t allow check-in until payment is done. When you are in trouble what all you need is empathy. The room was good but no room service. Not sure but Security deposit was been charged and haven’t received after almost a week. They serve hot breakfast like scrambled eggs/cheese omelette, bread, pancakes, fruits, hard boiled eggs, cereals and milk. If you ask then they do clean the room. Overall location wise it is really good.
