Me and my girlfriend stayed 3 nights but the first 2 nights weren’t bad at all but the 3rd night was HORRIBLE. All we kept doing was killing like 10 roaches the WHOLE night!!!! We couldn’t even rest well… NEVER COMING HERE EVER AGAIN!!!!!! How you’re suppose to eat? If you have leftovers you can’t put it in the refrigerator because there’s NO refrigerator nor microwave. So there’s no point in bringing food in the room! Highly disappointed and miserable with this Motel… I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS MOTEL 6!

Good location if attending event at the NRG, like I was. The room was also clean, spacious and the bed comfy. There are many places to grab a bite nearby too. That's where the plus ends. Now the negatives. I killed 3 cockroaches in my 3 day stay. The motel is also right on the freeway so car noise can keep u awake. Facilities are very limited in the room with no fridge or telephone intercom. I encountered 3 staff during my stay. Two were friendly and helpful. The third was just a b#*ch. Would I stay there again? Only if all other places under $100 per night were fully booked. I checked out after the 3rd night and spent my remaining 3nights in Houston in a different accomodation that cost only $10 more.

Guaranteed the most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed! The smell of bleach and bug spray was overwhelming and didn’t get any better after 3 days. No daily housekeeping— not even trash emptied or a clean towel. Room had random gnats. Luckily I only saw 1 cockroach. I’m praying I get out of here without bedbugs. Oh, and don’t go out after dark. The area definitely did not seem safe. Never again Motel 6… NEVER AGAIN.

My car broke down in Houston. My family needed a place to stay. The night clerk was fantastic. The day shift clerk was horrible. She was rude, and disrespectful. She was insulting to myself, and my better half. She yelled at us over coffee. She was too lazy to brew more coffee. I will never stay here again.

I do not have much to say about the room, other than it should not have been rented out yet. I was overwhelmed by the smell of fresh paint, and the air conditioner was on its last leg. I was in town to have an evaluation for a lung transplant. The poor A/C was struggling just to keep the room from being stuffy. On the third day of my stay it just could not keep up. Went to office to see if a fan was available, there was no fan. You can tell Motel 6 is trying to remodel and that is a good thing. The employees we encountered deserve a nice place to work. The night manager was apologetic for the A/C had it replaced first thing Friday morning. The maintenance man was quick and efficient and pretty much everyone smiled. Motel 6 should be very proud of the team they have at this location. Thanks for letting me ramble on.

Roaches at every corner. Found one in my shoe and one climbed to the bed. The lady would try to trick you to stay until the next morning to talk to the manager for a refund, but once you stay over the night, she would say there's no refund once you have stayed over a night. I'm not mad at all, just feel sorry that they have to do this to make money.

Just moved here , flight landed around 1am , our apartment wasn’t ready and didn’t let us know about a hotel , so we call the lady she tells us if we go ahead and book she can get us in this was around 1:30 am we get there around 2 am for her to keep saying she couldn’t find our reservation, to call whom ever we book through we figured out the website already had a set time for check in.says all this to say she shouldn’t never told us we could come and waste our money ! She was all over the place, accommodating others but couldn’t do anything about what she clearly had told us. Jus unprofessional.

Disgusting. Stayed here like 4 years ago and it wasn’t too bad, but now.. the floors were all wet and when i wiped them, the towel was brown. Didn’t have full sized towels in my room and when i went to ask they only had one, never brought another like she said she would. Dead bugs too. Felt so nasty sleeping in there. Also no remote. Do not stay here please.

The room I rented was infested with cockroaches, had NO ventilation, and the wiring for the air conditioning and lighting were scary. I could've dealt with it IF the two female employees I had to deal with were professional. Even though I sent an email to an address that was SUPPOSED to be for the corporate office, the response didn't indicate it was so. The bottom line is that the two women chose to lie to me and tell me 'a District Manager' told them to order me to leave my room that very minute. As a 63 year-old AA female, it was no surprise that the next day, they charged me for TWO EXTRA days. I've disputed the charges with my bank. I've only told a small amount of what was done to me by these two "managers" and their supervisor. I am in talks with attorneys and pray that no one else goes thru this. To anyone reading this: KNOW the law and your rights.

Though this hotel was hard to find the entrance on the google maps and gps, we eventually found it and the room was very nice , tidy, and clean and it felt welcoming ! It was everything I needed it stay in for 2 nights ! I felt comfortable! Thank you!

This was the WORSE STAY EVER! Do not spend your money staying here. Room stunk like someone had just smoke Marijuana in there. The floors were dirty... the towels were disgusting.. I asked for clean towels... the girls at the front desk told me to look for housekeeping on the floors they had them. NEVER AGAIN! I had never had an experience at a Motel 6 like I had at this one. DO NOT STAY HERE.. MOTEL 6 NGS HOUSTON TEXAS. I CAN'T SAY IT ENOUGH... DON'T DO IT!

I have been coming to Houston for business for over half a year now, and I have always stayed at this hotel. It has become my go-to choice for accommodations due to the amazing experience I have every time I stay here. The hotel is always nice, clean, and safe. It truly feels like a home away from home. I am always able to relax and unwind after a long day of work. The staff here truly goes above and beyond to make sure that their guests are comfortable and satisfied. What really sets this hotel apart is the amazing staff, especially the manager and the front desk staff member, Ashlyn. They are always incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating. They go out of their way to remember my preferences and make sure that all of my needs are met. They are professional and always be patient taking care of my business trip forms correctly. They are always patient and thoughtful, which makes my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in Houston. I know that I will continue to choose this hotel for all of my future visits. Thank you to the entire staff for making my stay so wonderful!

Front staff was extremely friendly, but that’s about as good as it got. The rooms could be better kept up. There were roaches and spiders as soon as we walked in. The floor was broken which caused my daughter to cut her foot. My son woke up to a roach crawling on his arm. Will never stay here again.

I paid late yesterday which cost me 100.00 so today they kicked me out. Had to leave some of my things when I went back 10 mins later it was all gone..! These people are sorry don't rent from them. And the outlet by the bed didn't work...

I have stayed here numerous times over the last 10 years. But this was my first bad experience. It's been 4 years since I last stayed here. The outside of hotel building needs major painting and cleaning. The room was very nice and big but had a hole in the bathroom wall that I believe is where the Two little German roaches came from. Sooooooo hope I don't bring any home yuck! And every single time I got to the room I had to go get key made multiple times as they never worked. Once 4 times. One entrance. That's ridiculous! Price was great. Hotel next door was noisy . Location is very convenient. So not great this time hope try do better and spray for roaches

Rooms arent cleaned during stay. We were there 16 days, room key cards failed daily, no fresh linens or bath towels etc. Not even trash can liners replaced. Maids apparently cleaned check out rooms but were accomodating. The place is hard to find. Drove by entrance twice before figuring out how to get in. We bought trash bags, toilet paper and paper towels for our stay. TV has extremely limited channel selection.

Room was pretty accommodating for a family of 5 but dang! No room service for 4 nights and 5 days?? I kindly went downstairs to front office and I was trying to add on 2 more nights for my stay, the guy in the morning he was very helpful and kind was able to keep my room for the extended days, he did asked if I’d like room service in my room and I said of course, within the period of time I was there there was no room service, has to sleep with the same covers and sheets for 5 days. I asked if I could I get some more towels and bed sheets nothing major and something I could done on my own if there was no cleaning staff but my gosh for 4 days!??? Either they need to get the elevator back on working or something to have room service in every room upstairs! Not complained but just that little detail other than that it was fine my stay.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Should be no stars!This hotel was the worse motel 6 we had ever stayed at. I know it’s cheap I get that but it still needs to be kept up. The ac/heater did not work. There was bugs in the tub and on the walls(have pictures). The shower never got hot. I had left a portable charger plugged in I called the front desk and the lady(Deepa) said yes we have it I said I would be by after the Texans game. When I went “Deepa” who claimed she was the manager said her housekeepers did not turn in anything in but yet she said they had it and I KNOW that I left it there by the sink plugged in. She didn’t have her housekeepers numbers or know how to get ahold of them to see who cleaned that room or where they had put my stuff. Make that make sense how are you the manager but don’t know your workers contact information. She wouldn’t let me check the room. She made the comment of we wouldn’t steal anything here why would you make that comment(guilty). Worse hotel. Needs new management or corporate to go in and do a walk through.

Zero stars if I could!!! From the beginning it was sketchy. When we pulled up to the hotel they had many sketchy people outside. We still went to check in for our reservation. They gave a room in the back of the hotel where there was no parking available because you could only park in the front. So this is the first time we changes our room. We went from 231 to 228. We get our new room (228) in the front and I go to use the restroom and it has multiple roaches in it so I immediately grabbed my bags and and left. I went downstairs to management and they did not seemed surprised and advertised like that was a first time problem. So we switch rooms unpack after getting a look around and not seeing any roaches, we left. We go out for a while and come back with food and immediately roaches came out. Within the span of 20 minutes or less we saw 3 to 4 more roaches before we decided we weren't gonna stick around to see anymore. Also some rooms don't have a microwave or refrigerator and the elevator is broken. The only good thing is that the first lady that was on shift was really nice.

Most important, NOT SAFE. People out in parking lot and sometimes around room's door all hours of the night. The room unfortunately was filthy. Stinky oder and grease all over the table, night stand and remote. Bathroom floor had crust, fecal matter still in toilet from the previous guests. Some of the lights didn't work nor did the heating/cooling system. Everything I needed was broken. Customer service wasn't so great when checking in and when checking out, they told me within a couple days, I'd be reimbursed which hasn't happen and it's been a week. I spent a little under $72. Unforgettable bad experience all around.

Well, the staff was pleasant. I stayed at this location just to quiet my mind for a few days. A non smoking room will always be my request. The room smelled of smoke upon entering and my clothes and bags absorbed the stench. Towels were requested twice and I was put on a list to receive them. The towels never came. There was no refrigerator so I used their ice maker to keep my medicine at a proper temperature in an insulated lunch bag. The following morning I noticed small roaches around the bag as it sat on the counter. The stairwell could use some cleaning as parts of it smelled of urine. The heater didn't warm the room when temperature fell so I just bundled up. It wouldn't be my choice to stay there again. But, as earlier stated, the staff was pleasant.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Worst experience that just kept getting worse! Front desk help? Yea right! I get it. It’s cheap. Wasn’t looking for amenities, just a room for a couple nights with tv and bathroom. I got none of those things here. After a 40 min wait to check in then getting to my room only to have the key card not work.. luckily it didn’t because THERE WAS SOMEONE ALREADY IN THAT ROOM. After convo with this person it was Back to the front to change rooms completely no explanation as to why I was given someone else’s room. Barely a trickle of water from shower and 2 tv stations to chose from and next day NO WATER!! NONE! Had to shower at my friends I was visiting. That late afternoon I called made sure water was working with again no explanation of why no water but whatever. Just one more night right? WRONG! I come back that evening around 8, open my door only to smell a strong odor of cologne. Like why? Then there are clothes tags on the floor and every towel was USED and wet on the bathroom floor and an empty beer can in the trash!!! Someone had been in my room with all my stuff and took a shower!! UNBELIEVABLE!! The lady at the front acted like it was not a big deal!! Seriously! She said a nice couple had come and said someone left a book bag in THEIR room. I had a full on open suitcase laying on the bed that I didn’t make when I left. I should have just called the police, but I just wanted my money back and to leave. So much more to it. But that’s the easiest explanation of why NOT TO STAY HERE!

So unprofessional. When I asked for fresh towels I was told I couldn't shower unless I used the same one. Rooms are neat and clean. Customer service is terrible. I'd say they need better desk clerks. They're very loud and rude.

I thought the check out was 12 noon. Instead it was 11am. At 1105AM. The maid knocked on the Door and I said we through the door we would leaving in few minutes. I had just gotten out of the shower and was still drying off when she opened the door. I was standing there nude and I felt like my privacy had. violated.. then about 5 minutes later a man came informed me I needed to leave. Then stood at the door waiting till we left. I felt like my privacy and had been violated and felt harrased. I have never been treated like this at any other Motel 6 the only other time I checked a little late at a Motel i called the front desk they were very polite and said don't worry about it.. I have stayed at. Neither one of them was rude but I felt like they trying to intimidate me

This place is awful!!!! Shower doesn't work or drain properly. The room was so humid inside that the sheets were damp. Room smelt like an ashtray and the air coming from the AC smelled of mold or mildew. The location was exactly what I was looking for due to me being a cancer patient and staying close to MD Anderson was a priority. Went to the front desk to ask about the foul smell coming from the AC and she said she didn't know why it would smell like that. I asked about air freshener and she said they didn't have any. Couldn't walk outside without the smell of marijuana almost knocking me over. I was on the bottom floor and people were throwing liquids over the rails from the 2nd and 3rd floors. Awful experience!!!!!!!!

I guess u get what u pay for. Room was really dirty. Roaches. And even a foot print on the bed sheets, the sheets smelled like body odor!! 😭 Floors where filthy. Piles of dirt and grime and towels where ROUGH. The area was questionable and didn't feel safe. Wanted out asap.

I booked for a room with Kitchen but the burner and utensils were not there in the room. The bathroom faucet was broken. The floor of the room was greasy for some reason. The bed sheets were slightly wet. After complaining they gave a burner after $50 deposit. When we returned back to hotel room, they hadn't resolved any issues. I went to the front desk and complained again but the staff was so rude and talked nonsense. I said I want to change the room but she asked me to wait outside for sometime. When I refused to go out and wait as I had waited for 4 hours already since morning, she threatened me to checkout. The other lady chipped in and told me that she can give a new room. It was very bad experience overall.

DONT STAY HERE! The worst experience of my life, I had never had this bad moment before on motel6, I know that’s not a fancy motel but usually was fair price vs place, THIS IS NOT! First room 124 AC made noise then request a change, room 136 smell like an ashtray, terrible, tried to ignore it BUT THEN FOUND ROACHES ON THE BED… that was enough. Initially there weren’t towels available, the surrounding doesn’t feel safe. Asked for a refund and the front desk lady was helpful (Night Shift)
