I wanted to like this hotel more than I actually did. The hotel is nice but a little on the old side. The rooms were nice and spacious. They are also a little outdated with the popcorn ceilings. Our room was also a little dirty when we arrived. There was some food crumbs on the floor, and what I think was a booger, on the bathroom door handle. The staff and service was amazing. They made us feel welcome. The amenities were excellent. The pool/jacuzzi area was awesome. The weight room was nice also. There is a business/computer room also. But no complementary breakfast. We arrived Wednesday and left on Sunday. The hotel was nice and quiet until Friday night when the party crowd showed up. Friday and Saturday night people were running up and down the halls, shouting and yelling late into the night, at least until 10:30-11:00pm. It almost sounded like people were fighting. I was happy that they had a security guard in the parking lot. In the end it was a nice place, but I don't think I would stay there again. I think it might be slightly overpriced for the experience. 4 stars.

Our visit started off great with helpful front desk staff. Our first issue was shortly after leaving we realized we had left some items in the room (clothes for our son). I called immediately upon this realization only for them to tell me housekeeping didn’t find anything in the room (very convenient). Days later I’m having an issue with my card only to see that they’ve charged me nearly $300 for no reason, in addition to some unauthorized charges that luckily were only pending. The rooms are outdated and this was far from worth it. Save your money and stay somewhere else!

Unprofessional and unpolite front desk people, rude behaviour, checked in around 10 pm, dirty room and uncomfortable bed. So disappointed, if it was a two-star hotel, it was okay but not for a four-star hotel. Do not waste your money there.

My recent stay at this hotel was marred by a terribly unprofessional and unfriendly check-in experience. The staff exhibited a lack of politeness and professionalism, treating us in a manner that made the entire process uncomfortable. It felt as though we were being treated as though we were children rather than valued guests. Such behavior is unacceptable, and I hope the management takes immediate steps to address and rectify these issues. A disappointing start to what could have been a pleasant stay. Your response to my review seems like a generic template rather than a genuine effort to improve your services. It's concerning to see similar feedback from others, yet no apparent changes in your services.

Just to be fair, I am not rating the rooms (I didn't stay), but rather the airport parking that they sell through third party apps. I reserved three months of parking for a trip to Central America. It is STILL being advertised as "safe and secure" but it is crime infested. Two weeks into the trip, I first started reading the reviews and stories of a tail gate theft, tire theft, and lots of catalytic converter theft. It stressed me out the entire time I was away, and of course mine was also stolen. I was parked right in front of the lobby door where the shuttles pick-up. But other than that, you can't ask for a better place to have your car vandalized. The staff were friendly and polite, the receptionist looked up the police department number for me. I spent half a day in their comfortable, air conditioned lobby until my insurance company finally sent a tow truck. It seemed like a great hotel, just don't bring your car.

It's close to the airport and the room was nicely furnished but no one answered the front desk or room service phones. I tried calling multiple times throughout my stay. I ended up having to order food 2x. The TV is small and doesn't allow me to connect to any streaming services. The mini fridge in my room didn't work. When I used the shower, the pressure of the water kept shutting off and turning back on. Honestly, I wouldn't stay here again. It was a nightmare. Oh, but they offer a shuttle to the airport which was nice

I had a forced layover here and the airline offered 3 options and this was one of them. Got in very late but the staff was accommodating and nice. Unfortunately the restaurant/var was already closed, so I had to get food in the small concession stand they had. The rooms are spacious and the bed was comfortable, unfortunately my TV had a split in the screen. It is quite outdated but for 1 night it is good enough. It is located less than 1 mile from the airport.

Extremely dissatisfied with the breakfast situation. Being a Regency I expected to be paying for breakfast, but usually the breakfast menu is pretty decent at a Regency. Here the breakfast menu was unavailable and only the $21 buffet was available. There was nothing on the buffet that felt fresh, I've seen better INCLUDED with a stay at a Holiday Inn. The bar and restaurant for dinner wasn't bad, drinks were over priced but again not exactly surprised based on it being onsite, food was actually really good for dinner. The rooms are fair. Nothing brand new but clearly not original either. It sufficed and was acceptable for the price per night. Pool access is a bit weird, requiring to go outside the front door and turn left and walk a decent distance or out the south door and turn right (walking about the same distance). Both routes take you through the lobby which is fine when the hotel is empty like it was when I was here, but could be an issue of a big conference was taking place below. The rest of the hotel is pretty dated and is in need of an update. Everything felt worn down, including one elevator that was missing it's roof paneling so it was just a bare florescent tube to offer as light. Easily the worst Hyatt I've stayed at

The hotel was very nice and clean. The front desk person (Jean) and the manager (Shirom) were super helpful and accommodating. They were incredibly nice and professional! My room was absolutely amazing. The restaurant was great. Can’t wait for my next stay!

Advertised as a 4 star hotel but it’s more like a 2 star. As you walk throughout the hotel you will see that it’s a old building that needs a paint job as you will see when you walk inside. The room was clean but our room window shade would not close and thank goodness because you could clearly see mold on the shades. They moved us to another room because of that. Also, everything in the room look like it came from the 1960s and no microwave. The one good thing is that the hotel was quiet and check in and out was a breeze if you made reservations before arriving. Will I stay here again, no because it’s so old looking and over priced.

We stayed at this hotel for the third time and it was drastically different than our first two bookings there. First of all, the hotel looks out dated and has a basic room packages. Second of all, we paid $180 for these basic room packages which to me is over priced. In addition to the furniture (dresser, table) having all types of chip markings on them. It’s like the wood dresser / table hasn’t been updated, painted or restored. Third of all, we only stayed one night this time and could NOT avoid the puddle in our tub from showering because the tub draining was CLOGGING as soon as we ran the water!!! Yuck!! We ended up telling the desk attendant about this issue upon checking out. The desk attendant stated “ we apologize for the inconvenience but next time just tell us about this issue in advance so we can fix it..” We received a small discount but still who wants to pay money to rent a room and have the tub clogged up to the MAX! Disgusting. Never staying here again.

I booked king size room, it was good. Waseem in the front disk was friendly and presented world class customer service. The room was awesome and super clean. I can say that I did not use the swimming pool because it is so small, need to have a bigger swimming pool.

Shuttle driver was great. Hotel was in an industrial area. No food or drink services within walking distance. Arrived at noon, had to wait 2 hours for room. We booked as it had a restaurant and bar. Found out restaurant was closed and it is only open in morning with continental breakfast for 20 dollars. Would have been free at a laquinta. It was a Saturday and the bar was closed until 4 pm. Realized paying 175 to stay one night here was a big mistake. Water container in waiting area had no cups. When one couple asked for cups, they brought two cups out for them, but none for any of the other guests. Even though i asked for more cups, they didn't bring any out. Ordered pizza and delivery took almost 2 hours to arrive. Finally got room, furniture was scratched and dented and out of date. At 420 pm went to bar and ordered a jack and coke. Bartender poured half a shot out of a bottle and it was empty. He looked through cabinets under the bar and then informed me he was out of jack Daniels. The next morning we were happy to get out of that hotel. What a way to start a great vacation. I've never given a bad review. Until now.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel. That’s crazy. Heads up the jacuzzi is cold. Inside is super dated. AC hardly works. Tiny fridge barely gets cold. No microwave in rooms. Furniture is all scuffed up.

Quite beautiful hotel, with wonderful service/staff at front. Outdoor ool and hot tub are great. Major and only complaint is that some of the appliances didn't work too well. The AC had to be kept at <70 in order for the room to have any fresh air feeling, but it never stopped feeling muggy (in the room or in the hallway). The ice machine on the floor was out of order, and some of the outlets didn't work.

Compared to most Hyatt hotels this one was not nearly as nice. Everything was sub par. The outside pool area was nice, but inside was very dated. It didn't have the amenities most Hyatt hotels offer. I ordered a "romance package" that was laughable. This place wasn't terrible, but not great either. Probably wouldn't choose this place again.

I am not sure what has changed within the hospitality aspect of the front desk team. Two of the three differents males at the front desk should not be the first face a guest is greeted with. The first interaction was 12/16 in the pm, me and my 3 children were looking at the market area, there were salads which you can clearly tell what is in them, however not labeled, sandwiches' not labeled so you didn't know what was in them. There was heavier set Latino man that was leaning against the back counter watching us struggle to find labels on the food, I asked him if he knew what was in them he simply looked at me and shook his no. After deciding on two salads we looked for forks with no luck, even went to the bar that was open to ask for forks no luck there either. I had to interrupt the same Latino man who was on his personal cell phone to ask if there any forks, he pointed to the market area we already searched and said there. I had to ask him to show me because we didn't see them. To no surprise they were out, thankfully he found some and restocked them. The second bad encounter with the younger longer haired gentleman with the accent happed upon my checkout on 12/18 at 11pm. I left my room at 1030 to make sure we didn't miss the 11 pm shuttle. At 1101 I asked the long haired man with the accent if the shuttle was running behind because we saw no shuttle within the 30 minutes leading up to that time. He said it should be here. At 1115, still no shuttle, I walk back to the same front desk guy and asked if there was an eta for the shuttle, his response was "your rude" I tired to ignore his ignorance and asked what time, 5 minutes, 20 minutes, he started pointing at me giving me the impression to get out while he was shouting who knows what at me. I was more sad then upset about the unhospitable interactions i had with the front desk males. Mind you I have been staying at this hotel twice a year for the past few years and never ever had any issues. My anger came in when I saw my itemized bill there is a $70.62 for Sam's diner, which is shocking to me being that I did not eat there. So how would this charge be posted to my room!? Unfortunately it doesn't end here. My room was 637, I'm pretty sure it may have been a room not used in awhile since the inside of the toilet bowl was stained, not from being dirty and unflushed, that's not the look it had, but it looked water has stained from the lack of use. Also the first shower we took we had to let the run until it wasnt brown. Again, NOTHING along these lines has ever happened in ANY of my past stays. I do also want to recognize the positive experiences. Huge huge shout out to the shorter African American woman who worked the morning of 12/17. We went down for a yogurt, I asked her if she knew what was in the sandwiches', she didn't know. Hoverer she went above and beyond by saying let me find out. She was able to find someone towards the back of the restaurant who told her. The reason why we could not just grab any sandwich to eat is due to allergies and diet restrictions. So thank you so much miss for going above and beyond to help us! Our housekeeper lady was so nice. Vey sweet, very personable. She came everyday and replaced our trash and towels! I don't know what her name is but she had my room, 637, every day of my stay. I hope someone can read this and issue me at minimum a refund for to the $70.62 of food we did not eat the restaurant we did not visit. A very sad and disappointed guest.

This is not an airport hotel. NOWHERE do they list that their shuttle only picks up at Terminal B AT ONLY 8PM! when I asked front desk how to get to Terminal B she told me "go ask someone who works there". $48 cab ride to hotel. Hotel is almost 9 miles from airport. No status recognition. TOPPER: First shuttle dies not run until 5am so if your flight is earlier than 7am you are S.O.L. THIS IS NOT AN AIRPORT HOTEL Add in musty smelling rooms with hair finger nails on the floor and old decor and there are much better choices with better hospitality closer to the airport

We wanted to book a hotel close to the airport. This one ended up being about a 10 minute drive. The room felt a little outdated. Furniture warn down noticeably. The food in the restaurant was meh. Service was decent in the restaurant but slow. Slamming doors in the hallway — and we could hear the guests in their room next to us. It was a nice enough place but probably won’t stay their again.

Nice, clean hotel located 10 minutes from the airport with a shuttle. I would like to commend Ms. Mariah at the front desk for her professionalism and kindness. She works the graveyard shift and still manages to be warm, hospitable, and helpful, even at odd hours in the night. You can tell that she cares about the guests and representing the hotel. I would return to this location knowing that people like her will be working there!

I had literally the best stay ever ! It started with a great warm welcome from Sharon at the front desk she was sooo sweet & really helpful ! The room was unexpectedly huge ! The housekeeping staff was great as well & the location is really nice there’s security at the gate entrance making sure no one who isn’t supposed to be there does not get in I absolutely loved that ! I will be back

The hotel only offers a shuttle from George Bush Airport and not the Hobby Airport. There is a restaurant located inside but it's pretty expensive. The rooms were very comfortable and the housekeeping staff was very accommodating. Front desk staff was helpful when the business center printer ink was going out. There is a security guard at the front gate, and they patrol the parking lot area.

I had a lovely stay! It started with the warmest greeting from Waseem, the man in the front desk, he has excellent customer service skills. First impressions are very important so I will be coming back! The security guys outside watch your vehicles as well and they’re so kind. It’s a nice hotel and great staff!

Had a layover between flights and choose this hotel to spend the night. Hotel was a bit dated but overall feel safe. Used their hotel shuttle service, it take a long time but driver was friendly. If you want fast service I recommend taking an uber/lyft. I didn’t mind waiting as it is a free service. Only downside was the door to the bathroom did not lock.

Location isn't great unless you're flying. However, hotel rooms were updated more than I expected for what you see on the outside. Also helps that we were upgraded due to status recognition but I don't think it would have been too differen except we get more natural light from the outside. Very clean and has a pretty good gym considering hotel standards.

My family and I stayed at this hotel two weeks ago. We had a good experience. Our flight arrived before midnight and we were able to catch the last shuttle to the hotel. The staff from the restaurant, housekeeping, front desk and shuttle drivers were very pleasant and helpful. David from the breakfast area provided great service and was very attentive. Thank you David for everything!

Clean room and hotel. Hotel is a bit dated and the location is not great. But it is excellent for a one to two day stay. We stayed one night for a long layover and it was perfect. There is security in the parking lot - I felt secure there. Good customer service - they let us check in early.

I didn’t like it I didn’t feel they helped or cared about us enough we spending money there why not make sure your guest are happy ! And we had to call 100 times for more towels ! Close to the Airport. The pool can use some TLC BADLY! I had to take the bugs out with the net MYSELF. The breakfast was definitely delicious ( the Breakfast Crew Staff) especially Dora and David I think that was the bartenders name was absolutely amazing and always there to help. We tipped someone every day. Was there for a whole week. I would stay there again because of the staff!!!!!

Billed as an "airport hotel." No. It's a haul from the airport. The lobby convenience store is for minimalists. Airport shuttle took an hour. Frustrating when all you want to do is go to bed. Ugh! Saving grace? Rooms are great.

Everything was great. The room was good, the restaurant food and service was good- over both meals. I only give 4 stars on service because when I checking in I got the vibe that I was inconveniencing the young lady who worked there.

SHEESH!!! I brought a friend who’s never been to Houston and was so embarrassed. This place is truly going down hill. It has only been a year since my last stay. The furniture was dated and banged up in both rooms I was given. I had to switch rooms after midnight because the bathtub would not drain and I was only taking a shower. The phone didn’t work and the ac wouldn’t come on but the bathtub was the last straw. The young gentleman that worked the night shift was the most helpful. The towels were white but rough. The service and hotel was sub par at best. Location is literally the only thing good about the hotel. It’s the HYATT for goodness sake. Get it together.

  • 5/5 Fahim M. 1 year ago on Google
Yes this hotel is slightly outdated. However, they are trying very hard to update their rooms and their elevators as well as their lobbies. They also have an amazing team and spectacular Hospitality staff. The rooms were immaculate and the hallways smelled fresh and fragrant. I only stayed for one day but that too was memorable. I highly recommend booking this place whenever you're visiting near the Houston Intercontinental Airport.

Not sure where to begin on this one… aside from its name, there is nothing really wrong with this property. It’s clean, rooms are spacious, and it’s more than adequate for an airport hotel. However, it’s certainly not a Hyatt Regency. Not sure how Hyatt agreed to this deal. This hotel is more of a Clarion, Red Roof inn, maybe even a Holiday Inn. It is certainly not a Hyatt Regency. I mean I have been in several Hyatt Regencies just over the last couple of weeks. This property does not look, feel, or is anything that is remotely close to a Hyatt Regency. It is not the fault of the property, it is not the fault of the staff, or even the management. But it is certainly the fault of Hyatt to agree to put their regency Flag on this property. I am quite certain no one from Hyatt ever set foot in this property, let alone inspected it. If you are coming here looking for a short stay that is convenient to the airport, this property is for you. But if you are looking to a posh, or luxury that is usually associated with the Hyatt Regency brand. Then don’t. It’s a 32” monitor that is actually sitting on a dresser.

Our flight got canceled in Houston and we weren’t allowed to retrieve our bags. The hotel staff was so warm and accommodating the moment we arrived! They provided toothbrushes and toothpaste since we didn’t have ours and they also kept the kitchen open so we could eat some dinner. We were so grateful and they really went above and beyond in service!! Highly recommend.

Not sure in which decade this location was named a 4 star hotel but it is barely a 2 star. I’ve stayed here twice in the same month because my job has a partnership with them and required it. I hated it both times. The rooms are EXTREMELY outdated. The AC does not work if you try to turn it down past 74. The rooms do not get cleaned often, if at all. I found someone’s personal towels in my bathtub (pink and extremely obvious) and dirty toilet upon arrival the first time. After being moved, the next restroom was also dirty and my chair had a large obvious stain. The lobby never answers the phone if you call from your room. The restaurant never answers at all. Housekeeping just takes out the trash during your stay and brings towels. Nothing else. Only gave an extra star because the restaurant food wasn’t bad. The service is though. Sometimes nobody ever comes to take your order. Almost never will they come check on the table. Also appears that the only person that fluently spoke English was the manager.

Property and King room was very clean. Staff were friendly and courteous however.. everything is dated. No smartTV, purely fixed cable. No streaming. Half of the remote buttons didn't functioned. On our last night 9/18/22, the door lock card reader died on room 131. After several attempts to call maintenance, the front desk staff was eventually able to get us in to our room. Turn around time was about a 30-minute wait in the hall. I would return to this property but with different expectations. Clean and priced better than neighboring properties. Parking was never an issue, and secured at night.

  • 5/5 Alex V. 2 years ago on Google
Overall I’ve had a good experience for the price that you pay. I am paying $100/night for a single King bed and it’s been a great experience so far. Every night my room has been cleaned and sheets have been changed including bath towels. I actually very much appreciate the legit security that they have throughout 7pm-4am every night. They have an official state police officer observing the parking lot checking if every guest has their key card to prove they are a guest of the hotel. That little thing made my experience here 5 star vs 4 star. I appreciate the business putting in the extra effort to make sure my car is safe and my family is safe inside the hotel. Great work guys!!!
