Besides the roaches in the room, this place wreaks of weed. On top of that, I had reserved online from the motel 6 site. I arrived with confirmation in hand but they couldn't find it in the system so it suddenly became my problem instead of theirs. Ignoring me, with no manager to talk to, they proceeded to check in other guests while I was trying to resolve this on the phone myself. After having to get rude, threatening and just a little insulting, I ended up just booking again in person because clearly, even though I did everything exactly right, it didn't matter! I'll never stay here again. And quite possibly motel 6 at all since they just don't seem to care.... Oh! And some jackass, Indian sounding dude did call my room at 5:45 in the morning to confirm it was me. I just let that one go because I was already too mad! Had to go to work anyway.

There was no heat working toilet ran the whole entire time. No microwave. We had to heat up food up at the service desk. I did not like that. The mattress springs were poking out of the mattress, which made it very uncomfortable to sleep.

I am a returning customer! I never leave messes or break anything ..this morning I had a worker bang on my door like the police I was scared he then yelled at me as soon as I opened the door demanding I pay him $20 cash for makeup I left on a towel ..I told him I would pay he still continued yelling I am a female in a room by myself I never thought makeup on a towel would cause all of this even after I went downstairs and paid I will never book again and I am upset about my experience here

First off, the only reason why its not 1 star instead of 2 stars is because the staff where super nice, understanding, and helpful. They have great staff here. Unfortunately, we basically checking into the room and within a hour where canceling and booking else where. There was black mold/stains on the ceiling and the shower is terrifying I'm assuming it used to be white but it has so much build up in it, and it is yellow now. we refused to stay here.

When we arrived I had to use the restroom from a long days journey and they wouldn't let me use the lobby restroom. Then when we arrived to our room escorted by the front desk male . He saw that the door just popped open with no key necessary to open it. Then told us that we would have to rig the door to be able to lock and shut it then he just left. After we're ready to leave the door would not click shut or lock. We went down to the front desk. Which he then proceeded to send a male who I assume was maintenance to help us. He also couldn't get the door to stay shut and lock. Then the front desk tells me that "oh don't worry your stuff will be fine we have cameras."I then tell him "no sir I dont feel safe with my personal being or personal belongings, is there another room that you can offer us?" He then proceeds to say we only have a king. Which I paid for two queens. So,i tell him thats okay ill cancel my reservations and go somewhere else. He than gives me a hard time and then trys to bamboozle me by making it look like he canceled when he didn't.he just shows me a copy of my reservation which I had to take a picture of because supposedly their printer did not work. I tell him i need a receipt of my actual cancellation. It get more chaotic from there. Needless to say do not stay here your car or a tent will be better.

The worst place to stay! Edward is rude and the staff will hit you with their carts. Do not stay here! Your better off staying in your car.

Very bad slept with roaches! Took the roaches to the first desk and manager was supposed to call me and I email her! No response at all! Bad hotel

You may wonder why a low end chain is getting 5 stars. This is a safe, clean, affordable, dog friendly, and convenient location. The aesthetics are not great. The remodel looks like I did it. I’m not handy like that. Hot water and water pressure is great! The staff has always been courteous. My dogs and I have stayed here 3 times the past two years and it has been pleasant every time.

Absolutely horrible. It was a last resort since Booking.com failed to ensure our booking at another location. Had to get my key redone every day (4 night stay). Pretty sure the sprinklers for fire was not safe as it had something almost like shoved in the hole beside it. You can see the water damage above the window and the poor patch work on the roof. The ac came from a smokers room. Toilet was barely being held by caulking. Elevator didn't work. Seemed kind of dirty. Thanks for the bar of soap, glad I brought my own stuff. This is probably one star away from being a roach coach. I had to pay MORE for this booking compared to my original booking at that.

So far so good. Let’s think about the price and location!! I stayed here for two weeks because I went to visit an old friend but she lives in a shared apartment so I had to look for a comfy motel myself… You have a supermarket near the motel, staff was really nice, you also have a McDonald’s, Popeyes, a 99 cents store, and more. You can easily walk for a little bit and you find even more places to eat. The bedrooms were spacious and clean and the housekeeper was nice and gave me as much stuff I needed to feel like home. They’re all doing their job and once I saw a couple of customers being rude with them out of nonsense?? They were always respectful tho. I would be back!

Lobby, hallway, and elevator had a bad smell. Room was ok eccept the AC had leaked a huge puddle of water on the floor. Lot of people slamming doors and a barking dog

You can't expect much from a 2 star motel, but you would expect the basic things like the icemaker to work. Had to walk to the closest gas station to buy a 3 lb bag of ice for$3.00 because I was in a uhaul. It was 100 degrees, and the ice was half melted before I got back. Every time I went to the front counter, I had to wait at least 5 minutes. Went to go eeat my dinner and 2 roaches came running for it. I picked Motel 6 because it is pet friendly, but that is a little ridiculous!! Was originally going to stay 2 nights, but canceled the 2nd night after the roach issue because I don't want to bring critters into my new house. Was very afraid to sleep in bed after that. And even though I checked the bed thoroughly, I still didn't sleep good because every time I felt an itch, I thought it was a bug.

Great rooms for price. The location is fabulous (right across the street from the beach). The best part is the friendly staff. We dealt with Wendy and she was spectacular. The night we were here the fire dept came because some kid burnt popcorn in one of the rooms. A little extra entertainment.

Me and my gf stayed there for a few days and our stay was great. Great staff and great room service.

The room I was put in had a bad leak in the ceiling the front desk was amazing and switched me rooms without any issue, the second rooms air conditioning was not working properly, the bed only had 2 thin sheets and a very thin and scratchy brown blanket, and the pillows were thin. If you want comfortable pillows make sure to bring your own. As far as location it's conveniently right off of I-10.

I'm all about staying at cheap hotels. But I seriously recommend spending the extra $10-15 to go next door. The only reason I'm giving two stars is for the location and the staff. Staff is friendly and helpful. The building sits right next to a variety of shops and places to eat. The parking lot is a little tricky to navigate as well.

Honestly it’s not as bad as rating make it seem. It is an older outdated hotel but I haven’t seen any roaches been here theee days and I eat a lot of food lol really you get what you pay for anywhere In America . But overall not bad at All

For budget motel surprised by amenities. Small fridge and microwave in room. Clean rooms, well lit and generally a nice place to stay. I will stay here next time I'm in Katy.

I don't like this hotel. The entry smell a lot to Marihuana. In this hotel acept dogs and for this reason smell to animals in the front desk

Surprised they can keep the place open. The manager is the most unprofessional, rude, disgraceful manager I've ever come across.Her name is Selenez. I got put on the dnr list for the ceiling piece being down,after I complained,since there is no communication even between the employees,the housekeepers and manager weren't aware. I had the ceiling fall apart on me,and I put the ceiling piece in the restroom. when asked why I was on the DNR and not told,I was given the answer,"there was a disturbance in the bathroom." Wow they're not used to anyone cleaning anything up,they couldn't even appreciate me moving what fell on my head out of the way.oh and also the lock on my door was without a battery so I was unable to lock my door for a week.

The beds we’re comfortable and shower was hot. My tv was broken deadbolt didn’t work. Changed my rooms it was flooded so we went back to first room. Sketchy people in front and in the hallway. Party in hall woke me up at 3:00 am we will not stay at this motel 6 again. Also seen a couple roaches

I mean we got great service but the room was sketchy there was no fridge so we spent $70 to spoil food,, the walls are thin, poor lighting everything is sketchy I couldn't even sleep literally stayed up all night,, roaches on the elevator with you and just yuck the pool was green so there goes money wasted on "hotels with a pool" only plus is the food nearby

Don’t let these other reviews deter you from here!! This hotel is good!! My room 205 is clean af!!! There isn’t any roaches like others try to make you believe, I left crumbs on the floor on purpose and didn’t see any critters at all!! Ac blows snow!! The wifi is great and works for all my gamers out there works great on Xbox and PlayStation it may disconnect every now and then but it’s a quick reconnect too so no worries!! I would definitely stay here again people cry over nothing this hotel is good best Mote 6 in Katy!! Weekly stay will be staying again!! If you want microwave and fridge just ask and they’ll bring it up to you!!

Clean, quiet, safe, pet friendly, no frills and budget friendly property!!! With excellent security cameras! I was safe. My pets were safe. My vehicle was safe. The parking lot was safe! Selene at the front desk was outstanding! Amazing, old fashioned customer service! Friendly and helpful! She runs a tight ship! This is an older, motel property that IS clean and safe. My smoking room was very clean and sanitized! Comfortable bed, and clean, bright white linens, towels, and feather pillows! The floor WAS clean! The bath WAS clean. Housekeeping staff definitely had attention to detail!s. Lobby and floors were clean and bright. It was evident they were detailed, hardworking staff! AC definitely worked well, which is much appreciated in the Texas heat! AND, did I mention how QUIET and restful it was? Plus, the pool was great, too! Much appreciated! I would stay here again. Really appreciated the discount from booking in the app, too Definitely, well deserved 5 Stars for review!
