After two international flights and a missed connection flight in Houston, United put us up at Holiday Inn JFK Boulevard and Brian was an absolute star, helping us out with a smile and extending our check out time so we had more time to relax before our flight the following day. The bed was super comfy and we really felt refreshed after a tiring day in transit. There is a very cool diner, Hot Biscuit, opposite Holiday Inn, and we loved the experience. Thanks to Brian for making the unscheduled layover a good one.

Reservation took forever. First person hang up. Second person wasn’t patient. Very long hallway. Front desk persons at both check in and check out were polite and swift. Bed was comfortable. The bathroom needs some renovation. Hot water worked well. Stayed overnight for $104 with no complimentary breakfast.

I stayed here for 15 days . The rooms are clean. Could use a little carpet shampoo. Their breakfast restaurant gets 2 out of 10. Screwed up my eggs 3 times. Don't eat there you will regret it.

If I could’ve done a lower review I would’ve , is sad to see the things that I saw. My son booked the reservation for us, and it seemed like a decent hotel. Quite honestly the way that an employee name kenia treats her employees is disgusting. Not sure how she’s even allowed to work there. I talked to more than one employee and found out that she behaves the same with all of them. How can management allow this to happen? Is Harassment not pursuit in this facility ? I want answers before I take matters to groups that protect employees. Wake up people!

Used the Hotel’s parking lot while traveling. To begin with their shuttle service is poor, you have no choice but to be dropped and be picked up from Terminal B, so make sure to ask about little detail they don’t mention anywhere. The main issue I had was when I returned to pick up my car, and found that someone vandalized one of my rear view mirrors. I went to ask for assistance to the front desk and they dismissed me very easily, saying that the hotel is not responsible for damage to the cars while in their premises, and that they didn’t have a camera in that part of the parking lot, which is interesting since I could see them myself, but I guess they don’t work. So be warned, think twice about using this hotel’s parking lot if you are parking at IAH

The dirtiest Holiday inn I’ve ever stayed at. They don’t clean the toilets, look around the toilet and seen dried up pee! The sinks have so much filth built up all around. The tub paint is peeling. The walls/baseboards are filthy ! Hair , do you know they don’t change the sheets. No microwaves in the rooms. The rugs need to be shampooed! Honestly I wouldn’t advise staying here. The staff is pretty friendly. The breakfast not that great to be charging $17.

Bathroom shower was unacceptable, mold throughout bottom of shower. Fortunately had flip flops to wear in the shower. Did report to front desk with no concern or apologies. Also finding room was confusing, no room# posted on door or wall! Hotel was not full, why give us a inadequate room? That said we will not return.

If anyone reads this… This Hotel and Staff are the most AMAZING people I’ve Ever Met! I’ve stayed here so many times since December of 22. Brian Collins, the most AMAZING person to meet and ALWAYS has it under control and his staff. Dulce, Maribel … see the Manager Valerie in the morning. By far THE BEST I’ve experienced as a person who travels for work and life. Please meet them and say Hi. This Hotel makes me feel like I’m home when I come through. Be kind to everyone and Love Life! Aloha! - David Christian

Staff was helpful. "Tank," was especially helpful. I had to check back in for an extra night after checking out earlier. He didn't have to, but took the time to find me another room, early check in. Rooms are clean, beds are very comfortable.

I’ve arrived late for the check in. So it took time during the check in because the front was crowded. At first, I was assigned to the used room. I’m not sure what is going on. The lady at the front helps me fix the problem. Despite grumpy mood for all staff at the front, which I could understand because of the exhausting heavy shift. The room is assigned to the IHG account, but no benefit for the tier (Plat) is received during the check in. The bed is super comfortable and the aircon works great. The breakfast is good. You can easily grab a shuttle but to the airport, which takes around 10-15 minutes. It is okay to stay here if you need an overnight rest before your next flight, otherwise you could look for more convenience hotel.

I don’t know where to start with this place I’ve been stay with IHG hotels since 2015 and this place and management takes the cake for one of the worst hotels. first off had no hot water when asked about it they said sorry and can move me rooms an hr before checkout time. At 7:30 in the morning wife and son by themselves waiting to leave to the airport someone tries to walk in without knocking luckily the assistant GM apologized for that one too. Food had no flavor and was over priced for what you get. I won’t be staying at this location if you do decide to stay here lock your doors and don’t expect management to be any help this place is truly a nightmare should be a 1 star hotel!

Best points: close to IAH Airport, with shuttle running ever 30mins. Comfortable beds. Spacious room. Downside: 1 - If you dont have a car, your stranded with the only food option being the resident restaurant and very over priced snacks! NO VENDING MACHINES! 2 - No breakfast. The first of any holiday Inns we have stayed in at a similar price without breakfast. I would not have stayed if i was aware of the above.

Nick and the staff at this location go above and beyond to help their guests. The rooms are clean and spacious and the kitchen staff are friendly as well. This stay makes commuting to work more enjoyable.

OK, where do I begin... I came to this "Holiday Inn" because I was about to be shipped to bootcamp. When I arrived with my chief that brought me there the lady at the front desk was rude and seemed impatient with me, I have never been there before and I was confused and lost. Everything was kept pretty clean and they have vending machines, and an elevator to take you to other floors in the building. The rooms themselves were surprisingly high quality. The bathroom was clean, the shower and toilet as well. The beds were clean and well made.

We had no complaints whatsoever about this Holiday Inn! Checking in and out was super easy, and our beds were actually really comfortable! And when we were checking out, one of the managers made sure to ask us about our stay, and he even called the shuttle driver just as the shuttle was leaving to turn around and come pick us up! Great service, would definitely stay here again!

I had to stay at this holiday inn due to a missed flight. The free airport shuttle van runs every 30 min on the hour and half hour. It stops at 12:30 am and resumes at 4:30 am. Despite how many people showed up at once off the shuttle, check-in was pretty fast. The girl at the desk (I wish I knew her name) was super nice. She checked me in at 12:30 and was STILL working when I came down at 12:30 to get some lunch from the hotel restaurant. She was such a hard worker and was so sweet. You’d never know the poor thing was fried. The hotel lobby is no frills, and same goes true for the hallways. The room itself was really nice and clean. I wouldn’t hesitate staying here if you are in a pinch. It will be just fine. Nice staff, from the shuttle drivers, restaurant staff and front desk. The hotel itself isn’t 5 star, but the experience was.

There was rice, a sauce and drink stains on the nightstand. The shower flooded the entire bathroom floor and into the room carpet. To top it all off, we only had one coffee in the room for both of us. The employees were good but the restaurant was under staffed.

If your flight has been cancelled or delayed and you need a place to stay, you will be taken care of here. You should see these people who work the front desk, they deal with upset customers whose flights have been cancelled day in, day out. Their phones are ringing every 5 seconds while they’re checking in bus loads of people, many of these customers are disgruntled because their travel plans have just been disrupted. These staff members are unbreakable. Wow. I commend each and every one of them. I wish I was half as patient, kind and understanding as any one of them. During a nationwide staffing shortage no less! I don’t know where Holiday Inn found these people but I hope they are making them feel valued. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Also there is one guy at the front desk whose voice is just so soothing. He needs to record an audiobook or a sleepcast or something, stat.

To much traffic at this location, the only entrance is the front door after a certain time and the walk from parking to front door isn’t ideal. The onsite restaurant was closed for a few days. The room was clean is the only good thing i can say. This location was just to busy with foot traffic for my liking! Oh and I’ve stayed at cheaper hotels with better water pressure!

Flight canceled so got comp here by airline. 1st the service is great. Don't recall 1st name, Brian maybe, last name Collins was awesome. He was friendly, multi tasking, knowledgeable and helpful. Got things done quick and professional. Mr. Collins should be moving up! Rooms were nice, stylish, and clean. No complaints. I didn't stay long enough to check out any amenities.
