The front desk staff are nice but the housekeeping staff is abysmal. Truly shocked at how little they respond to requests- we asked for them to change out sheets 3 separate times over 3 days and they refused. We also left a full bottle of alcohol in the room by accident- called them to ask them to save it, they said they would leave it at the front and when we got to the front they had left an empty bottle without the cap. Tell me - why I would ask for them to save an empty bottle of generic alcohol? I would strongly recommend staying at this hotel, there are truly so many other options in this area.

Positive:Very nice place to live with good surroundings. Breakfast was also very good. Negative: Front desk staff in night was just ok. Lockers are not available in rooms so hard to put precious belongings in bags or carry with you every time.

We stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights. They didn't clean our sheets, nor changed the sheets. They neither bother to even make the beds for us. The rooms smelled like pee. When we asked the staff for a deep cleaning and staff were very rude and dismissive and said they wouldn't change the sheets or clean the room until the 4th day. I never experienced this with other Hyatt locations. Horrendous customer service. I highly would NOT recommend this to anyone. These people need to go back to the basics and learn hospitality and respect .

We went there last Saturday with friends while having reservations from weeks ago for a big concert in Financial Center. We had drove 5 hours from Dallas in 102 F temperature! The checkin was supposed to be at 3 and the room was not available by 3:20!!! This is while we had arrived at 2:30, we were tired and also in rush! They not only didn’t apologize for the inconvenience, but also they were beyond rude! The front desk guy who wears glasses was super rude and unprofessional, actually everyone there was unprofessional. We didn’t even argue or push them. My husband asked when the room will be ready, and the front desk guy said I’m done talking to you, and left! Am I supposed to pay 150$ and stand too much attitude from who doesn’t understand the basics of customer service? We canceled our reservation and went to a better hotel. A 3 star hotel is never our choice unless there is no other option, we selected here because it was only 10 minutes to the concert place and there was no 4 start hotel in Sugar Land. The management needs to train the employees. You don’t even know who you are talking to. You have to respect all customers, specially when there is a messed up with your team operation. I won’t recommend this place to anyone. If I had a choice, I would give a 0

Don't Forget anything in the room when checking out. If you don't go back fast enough you'll never see it again. I knew I had forgotten my headphones but when I went to ask the front desk there were nice but I wasn't allowed to check with them. I wouldn't trust their cleaning services, sorry but not going back there again. EVER!!

This has been home for me while I work in sugarland. Nestled on the shore of an artificial lake, you should ask for a room with a view. The hotel staff is very polite and kind. You can also ask for two bottles of water. Everyone, from the maintenance guys here to the manager. There's a good vibe to this place. A suggestion for the Hyatt management is that the keys fail if kept close to a phone. Let's also give customers an RFID safe pouch to keep the keys. The breakfast is good but kind of the same forever. But still I see this place full with various business visitors, school students in an excursion, military personnel, and patients. This place has a conference hall that has also hosted Indian weddings. With ample parking by the lake, you can avoid parking if you park near the back door. Thanks me later. The back door doesn't work with a card this the management keeps it unlocked till like 11 in the night.

The location is great, love the proximity to the lake & lake views but there is a serious design flaw with the rooms at this hotel! Both ventilation vents are near the door but the bed is on the other side of the room blocked off by a half-wall so there is no way to feel the air at all!

Hotel upon entering looks beautiful but once you exit the elevator you recognize you aren't in Kansas anymore. No air conditioning in the hallways, but our room was cool which was amazing. The bathroom walls had so much water damage and previous repair work done that they looked like they were made of paper. Once we used the tub/shower we recognized that water was definitely coming from the wall and floor stayed flooded.

TV didn't work on all but 4 to 5 channels. The beds were very comfy. Sofa was clean and comfortable. Low water pressure at bathroom sink. Broken closet door with rusty closet door frame. Room key card didn't work 80% of the time (Front Desk acknowledged the system is old and this is typical). Used/several times cleaned, cheap shower curtains, which didn't prevent the bathroom floor from becoming very wet with showers. Water damage to several areas of shower/bath surround. Carpet at bathroom sink?

Was here for a night but had a great time. Was comfortable, and I really liked the couch set up in the room. Breakfast provided was good. They kept crayons and coloring pages, which my kids loved.

Very good location and reasonably priced but the rooms need updating. Did not seem completely sanitary and the furniture was beat up. Old TV with no Netflix or anything. Mattress is so work out that you can feel and hear the springs crunching. I do not recommend paying for the "lakeviews". We did not get one despite the price

Needs an update, the hallways were ridiculously hot and the a/c in the room only made it humid/damp and not comfortable. This was an upgraded room, too. And scary elevators! They made terrible clunking noises that made you afraid to get in them but being on the 9th floor, climbing the stairs in the heatwave was not an option. Thankfully we survived. Great location, decent breakfast.

Horrible experience overall 1. Rooms have bathroom sink in the middle of the room. Cannot use the sink without waking other people up 2. Bathroom doesn't have exhaust fan 3. Rooms don't have a microwave 4. Elevator was broken 5. Random loud banging sounds all night 6. Low breakfast quality

Spent 6 days at the Hyatt. The most fantastic hotel experience ever. The free breakfast was off the charts good, housekeeping was the most courteous I've experienced, front desk went beyond the call of duty to make our stay pleasant. When I return to Houston, I most definitely will stay at the Hyatt.

Air conditioners not working. I checked in at 5 o’clock I set the thermostat down to 68 and then went to dinner. I was gone a few hours. I came back and the room is still hot. Call down to the front desk to let him know that I think my air conditioner is broken. He said he knew but unfortunately there’s nothing he could do. He said I can move you to a different room, but most likely that room is going to be hot as well. I was given the option to check out to go to a different hotel at 8 o’clock at night. No sign on the front door in the and no fan.

Nobody at the hotel and they put me facing the parking lot instead of the lake. Also the cleaning people yelling to each other down the halls at 7:30am when trying to sleep. Called front desk. Then they go to the room next to me making noise and above me. Just to make me mad. Oh and no safes in the rooms. I bet even motel 6 has safes. I do t know. Not staying here again

The room smelled like a nursing home when we walked in, we thought maybe it was the cleaning product they used. After returning back from dinner, it smells like urine! the a/c vents were in a horrible place, they are by the door and the bed is on the other side of the wall w/NO other vents! How fun was that? I tried to call the desk but gave up when I didn't get an answer and we were already too tired to fight that battle. The towels are about the quality of a low budget hotel. The front desk attendant was super nice the next morning when I talked to her, but unfortunately could not do anything about it at that point. Hopefully the next guest will not encounter the same issues. The hotel is in a great location, probably will not return.

Don't forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a hotel. This web site will compare countless booking websites and normally will have rooms a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of my favorites in the area. I have been coming here for years. If you stay for a few days you won't be let down. Really enjoyed my stay here. You can tell that the rooms are older. The view of the lake was just what i needed daily. I started here for bushes and it was perfect for my needs. They do have a bar and food selections are limited. They also serve free breakfast in the mornings.

Do not stay here. Go directly next door and stay at the Courtyard Marriott where the rooms are cold, they're not understaffed and out of items, and the furniture isn't beat up. The rooms are HOT. The fridge was left on hot. Conditioner was missing like it had been stolen and never replaced. No extra blankets or pillows left for the pull out. Called and was told to come down for the missing items. I mean this is BAD. I never write reviews.

Great location but don't stay in room 325. The mattress needs to be replaced and the curtains do not keep the street light (that's right outside your window) out. Your room will not get very dark to sleep! Hotel was nice other than that. Decent breakfast and room was clean! Nice areas to walk and they are pet friendly.

Beautiful suburban location next to man made lake. Great for walking. Very safe area. Lots of nice restaurants near by within walking distance. Great for walking. This Hotel is Excellent. I have stated twice. It won't be the last.

We stayed here for one night while attending a concert and it was a very pleasant experience. Hotel staff was friendly, our room was clean and roomy. Will definitely stay again if need to while in town.

Primarily it was excellent because of Shronete Davis on the front desk! She is exceptional and hope her management rewards her for her performance. The day we checked in there was a little confusion about wrong information I was told but she handled the situation with empathy and professionalism. We were there because it was a pet friendly hotel and we were there for 11 nights because one of our dogs was undergoing cancer treatment 5 minutes from the hotel so it was not a pleasure trip but in spite of that the hotel stay improved the whole situation because everyone-was very friendly and accommodating - the room worked well - nice view of lake and proximity to lots of shopping and great restaurants. Their morning breakfast was good so we were pleased with our stay and will have to return in about 6 months. Again Shronete was awesome.

The only reason I'm giving two stars are for the two ladies at the front desk. They gave great customer service and were friendly. The actual stay disappointed...our premium lake view room was a premium view of the parking lot in front of the lake. Limited breakfast selection and dining area was dirty tables and floors. We went to sit on the patio in front of the lake furniture was dirty and we had to walk back to the front of the hotel to get back in because the key access box to let you back in didnt work. Disappointed wont be back

One of my favorite places to stay when we travel to Houston. Breakfast bar always delicious. Rooms always clean. Great to walk around the lake stretch your legs after dinner. And they are pet friendly.

Clean rooms, besides a little wall wiping and dusting of all not regularly touched items, it was a pleasant stay and we had nothing but amazing service from the staff. Their breakfast is absolutely amazing as well! The pool is the only thing I would avoid, it was green... wish i took a pic. Never saw anyone in it either, wonder why? Lol
