A FOODIE’S CHANCE FIND OF A PLEASANT PUB AND GRUB. Being spoilt of the Brit pub tradition, finding a bar in America with the appeal of a pub with enjoyable food (grub) is a tall order. This Primanti Bar is Washington PA is a terrific chance encounter😎😎😎.—-It’s a sports bar, yet on a game day with fans dressed to support their team playing on TV, the whole place is colonized with very pleasant people👏👏👏👏👏. The staff are the most amiable bar staff I’ve ever encountered.👍👍👍. The grub is, as expected, freshly cooked to order😎😎😎….very much the opposite contrast of horrible Primanti Bar in Pittsburgh Southside. (((see my review s))). The Bacon Cheddar Fries were outstanding 👍👍👍. The burger and crispy chicken sandwich were very good, the meats were actually seasoned 😎. Unlike the odd Primanti practice of loading fries into the sandwiches, the fries were served separately as they should be👏👏👏. A terrific addition is the very very fresh coleslaw, which is simply seasoned unlike the common overly sweetened one.😎 The Red Primanti IPA on tap was fantastic 🍺🍺🍺. The bar itself has the most pleasant ambiance: Very well lit with natural light. The tables are mostly high tables that lift up the pub atmosphere.👏👏👏.

Ordered the fish burger. Definitely worth the try. The burger has the fries, coleslaw, the fish fillet everything inside it. So it was a new concept to have fries within the burger. The burger itself was huge, could be shared by two people easily. This was one of the Togo restaurants in Pittsburg, and loved it.

We visited during happy hour and were pleased to find no wait times. We ordered the Pittsburger and Cajun Chicken Sandwich with fries, which were delicious. The bread was a bit thick for my liking, though. The drinks were also great and reasonably priced. The servers were prompt and the atmosphere was enjoyable. We can't wait to return and try other sandwiches.

Great food and waitress!! She was very sweet and good with a large group of people. I was so excited to hear that they have gluten-free buns and fries that are cooked in separate oils. The gluten free bun was incredible, and it was refreshing to see their inclusivity for people with dietary restrictions. All of the food was great and prepared correctly, even with special requests such as no cheese. We were surprised because Sunday and Monday have $0.79 wings. The whole place was very clean and managed, including the bathrooms. Overall, the whole experience was great and I would definitely come back any day.

Not a lot to say that hasn't been said already. Primanti Bros is a traditional stop for me when in Pittsburgh. Sandwiches are always great and huge. I had a pastrami, with everything on it, which included fries, the slaw (which we call sauerkraut here in Virginia, haha), and tomato. Always delicious.

My first time at a Primanti Bros. Service was very slow. I sat almost 10 minutes befor being waited on. Once the server came things moved right along and the food was good. I would go back again. Every resturant is short on workers.

It was a pretty busy night but we were able to get in and not wait too long. I highly recommend the pastrami fries. They were delicious. I also ordered the Capone sandwich and the best part was that they have gluten free bread. Tasted pretty decent even with the gluten free bread. I will definitely be back to this location.

Awesome!! Best Gluten Free, Vegetarian sandwich! They were able to work around my dietary restrictions and placed the sandwich in the oven to avoid cross-contamination. The picture I am posting is of my gluten-free sandwich (knife standing up) and my husband’s with no dietary restrictions (not gluten free).
