Food and service was exceptional. Nice variety on the brunch menu. The location is beautiful and the restaurant/bar is unique. My husband is handicapped and there are alot of stairs at the entrance and inside the dining room. If you go around to the side and go down the ramp to the outdoor bar area, you can enter the dining room on the lower level and sit inside. The outdoor bar/seating area is nice too if you choose to do that. Pretty views but these tables are first come first serve. I love they have a dress code, so fancy! Will definitely go back for dinner next time.

When I say I’ve been trying to get here for weeks, I mean it! Well he surprised me for brunch yesterday, meh… The service is not warm, welcoming, or inviting. Server kept reminding us that he was new and didn’t know much. He also told us that they don’t have a drink menu. The lady helping to train him seemed very annoyed when we asked her questions. In fact she was rude a couple times regarding items not on the menu, at one time she said “why you want some”. Other than that, the food was decent, and the view is beautiful. I’d like to try happy hour at the blue bar but don’t think I’d chance the experience. I’ll mark this place off my list & not recommend or return.

Well this deserves 5 stars. No doubt. Excellent atmosphere and makes the bayou look beautiful. Jumbo crab cake is a must and could had a full meal just of that. Schnitzel is huge and is very shareable for the main course and would highly recommend. Perfectly battered veal. Ask them to add extra egg and you are good to go. For the sides potatoes Al gratin is the best we have had. Comparison are streak 48, Morton’s, and Fleming’s. Overall would come back. Jumbo crab cake Potatoes Al gratin Brussels sprouts Schnitzel 3 drinks ______________ $148

We had drinks on the patio at Blue Bar. The view was amazing! The was perfect for patio weather too. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Drinks and food were all superb. It was my first time there and it was an amazing first experience! Will definitely come back. FYI you're only wanting to go to Blue Bar and not dine Brenner, then the dress code is a little more relaxed.

Great place for a birthday meal! Highly suggest the filet mignon, it was tender and good flavor. The NY strip my spouse had I felt was a little too salty, the creamed spinach and au gratin potatoes were stellar. The wine was tasty and had Malbec, and the warm brownie sundae for desert was a nice end to the meal. The grounds were beautiful on the Bayou. Good service.

Had a team dinner here and really enjoyed the view and the food. Had rhe shrimp appetizer, then salad, salmon with green beans and mashed potatoes, and the dessert was sample of banana bread (not good, felt like it was recently defrosted), german cake (very good), fruits and whip cream. The garden is a beautiful add-on to the environment.

Came here on a Saturday night with my partner. Arrived here and was greeted politely at our table by Emily who served us our panna spring water. Ty was our main server and he was very kind. When it came to the food, my partner and I were absolutely blown away. We were given bread at our table, then I ordered an alcoholic beverage which arrived quickly at the table. I ordered the pan roasted salmon which was exquisite, cooked really nicely with vegetables that complimented it. We got a side of Alaskan King crab legs which were delicious and Au Gratin Potatoes which were amazing. My partner got a delicious steak with truffle butter added to it, which made it superb! My only negative thing to say is that I think it’s a little absurd for truffle butter to be $10 as an additional charge if you want it added to your steak. As for dessert, Emily was very helpful with suggestions and recommended the Bread pudding which came with ice cream; it was a great indulgence! She also offered espresso coffee with it too. It was a great experience here. We did have a reservation at 9pm but had to wait a little while to actually be sat, but it was very busy. Definitely plan on coming back here. Thank you Emily and Ty.

We enjoyed our dining experience. the food and the drinks were made to perfection. I've been there a couple of times here and have been extremely happy with the quality of the food. would be great if they could consider adding more diabetic and keto friendly dessert choices to cater to a wider range of dietary preferences and needs. Unfortunately, the valet attendant seemed inexperienced and had difficulty with the parking manual cars. As a result, my party and I had to walk to retrieve our car, which was particularly inconvenient given the restaurant's location on a bit of steep parking and having high heels on.

My man loves to cook, and I love to eat. He is a fantastic cook, and, his expectations of eating out are very high, and we can never find a place where he can tell the food is excellent. I usually get, “I can do a lot better than this.” We enjoyed the food so much that we left talking about our next visit, and this was the first restaurant we ever said that. We highly recommend this place

I am a native Houstonian and this was my first time here. I don’t know why I waited so long! You drive up, and feel like you‘ve left Houston, and entered into a gorgeous oasis. From the valet to the hostessess to the servers, we were greeted warmly. Our server, Eder, was amazing! Incredibly nice, knowledgeable, and professional. It is restaurant week, so we ordered from that menu. We started with delicious cocktails. I had a lemondrop martini and it was delicious! I started with the baked potato soup, it was creamy and so so good! Next, for my entree, I ordered the 8 oz filet. It was served with creamy cauliflower, and green beans. It was the best filet I have ever had! I could almost cut it with my fork. For dessert, I had the german chocolate cake and a delicious cup of coffee. After dinner, we walked outside. The outdoor deck area and views are gorgeous! One of the best dining experiences I have ever had!

The food is always excellent with great service, and an elegant atmosphere. The servers are very polite and with reservation there’s no waiting time. Whatever you order, you won't be disappointed. The food is exquisite and they pay attention to every detail. This place is one of our favorites.

This place is NOT allergy friendly and does not practice integrity with communication around allergens. If you have serious allergies do NOT trust it. The dinner service had been great and the food was as expected for the caliber of restaurant. We ordered some desserts to-go and I informed my waiter that I had a severe strawberry allergy. He said that it didn't apply to one of the desserts we chose but he would let the chef know so they could be sure to change gloves. Hearing that this was a part of their practice sounded great. When he brought the desserts out in their to-go containers he confirmed that they were made with care with no cross contamination. Imagine my surprise when I get home and see strawberries on a dessert I was told didn't have strawberries!!!! Seeing that I was lied to- I don't feel comfortable eating the other dessert that had blueberries but no strawberries as I don't trust what the waiter said about their practices. This all could have been avoided if he had just said they can't accommodate that, as I have been told that before and just choose not to order dessert. It is so frustrating to have wasted money on to-go food after my waiter made it seem like they went above and beyond. Even though my dinner was great, I will definitely not be returning because I no longer trust this restaurant. If you can't double check that an allergen I disclose is not present on my food after giving me verbal assurance at 2 different times, I don't trust that you follow any of the procedures you claim to.

Attended a nice event here. The upstairs private room is lovely, however the bathrooms are right there, so there was a constant flow of people coming and going while our host was giving a speech. Food and service were good.

My wedding was more than I ever expected. Brenner's on the Bayou and Ashley guided me through the entire process. Staff was great. The food was superb. And if you're a select member of Landry's, you earn meal points.

My husband and I came here yesterday for dinner together!! We sat outside and the ambiance was beautiful. I loved the environment, and it was very peaceful. I enjoyed all the lighting, music, and the patio was quite breezy and cool. Perfect spot for a celebration or date night with someone you love. We had two waitresses that's waited on us. Francesca took great care of us. The other young lady was lovely as well; we couldn't remember her name. Also, a younger man who brought out our food was nice and helped me not walk all the way up the stairs and showed me to the bathroom. He was a kind gentleman which women appreciate. I don't know his name, but I always like to recognize good service. Be sure to make a reservation because it is a smaller and intimate space. We had Pear Martinis and Lemon Martinis. (Both 5/5) Filet Mignon - Oscar (prepared rare) 5/5 rare to perfection, smooth like butter, could be pretty much cut with a fork (Smooth like butter, like a criminal undercover, Gon' pop like trouble breaking into your heart like that) and boy did this steak pop into our heart! Seafood Tower - 5/5 All the fish was so fresh and delicious. I wish I had another one right now. It's huge and full of everything, 2 lobsters, Alaskan king crab, oysters, and shrimp --yum! 43rd and Broadway - 5/5 Thank you for an amazing experience!

First time visiting Houston from the UK and Brenner's was suggested as a brunch venue by our wonderful friend and host for our holiday. Despite it being an overcast day, the views were magnificent and the food incredible. We visited several fantastic restaurants during our trip but Brenner's stood out not just for the food but the incredible staff. Our host Anna was an absolute delight and made our afternoon, nothing was too much trouble and she was incredibly funny and personable and was a wonderful representation of the restaurant. Also huge thanks to the member of staff who rescued my Louboutins from the slats outside!

We dined in at Brenner’s to celebrate our wedding anniversary and enjoyed our experience. We showed up a little early and grabbed some drinks at the bar before our table was ready. The bartender made me the best French 75 I’ve ever had. They also have a neat happy hour menu and specials that I’d like to come back and try. We ordered some crab Louie for an appetizer and enjoyed the pontchartrain fish and the almond crusted fish. The crème brûlée was a delicious dessert to end our meal with. Our server was friendly and attentive.

Had a lovely time for my boyfriends birthday. Valet was quick and efficient. Server was knowledable about the menu and friendly. The food was very good. My only negative was the jazz music was quite loud and it was very dark inside but if that's your thing then this is the place for you.

I can’t say enough about this restaurant. My friend took me for my birthday and I was blown away. As soon as I walked in I was in awe of the decor and ambiance. It feels like a romantic lodge. Dimly lit without being too much. I had at least three different people told me Happy Birthday. Our waiter Terence was incredible. So attentive and personable. He made our experience perfect.
