This place is a small hole in the wall kind of shop but the customer service is amazing and the food is always on point. My wife and I visit here at least once every two weeks, sometimes more. If you are near by or driving by and want a little morning snack it doesn't get much better than here.

Dawn Donuts is a great place to go if you’re looking for a great local donut shop! The donuts are great, and everyone is always very friendly, this is one of the best donut shops in Galveston!

The big Kolaches are the best!!! The man is super kind and attentive. I can never take a pic of the Kolache bc I immediately devour it.

The best donuts on Galveston. My daughter has made is try every donut place in the island and Dawn Donuts is the best. The owner is nice, welcoming, and remembers his customers and their orders.

Chocolate covered donut had weird taste and chemical odor ! Cinnamon roll was ok, could use more time in oven. Chocolate muffin was great. I think muffin was purchased then sold.

Fair. Donuts were ok. Was hoping for a cleaner and a place to sit and eat. Only a couple of tables and one was occupied with one of their children and another had boxes, if I remember right. That left one in the corner. And instead of paying $12 to park at the public beach, wound up going to East End beach to eat in the car

A new doughnut shop makes me happy to visit and this place made me smile the food was excellent loved the sausage egg and cheese croissant sandwich was excellent, pigs in blanket we're great too long John Bavarian cream o my. We will stop when we come back through..

These donuts where so good. I don't ordered donuts often and didn't know what the type of donuts I wanted where called. The guy was so helpful and put fresh pudding in the donuts.

The kolaches were amazing and donuts were splendid ,the lady was very kind and it felt welcoming over all , might go next time we are in Galveston , if you read this I recommend going here instead of Shipleys if you are in Galveston.

Very nice staff and very fast. I have now tried several different kinds of Donuts and kolaches and they are all delicious. For about 60 cents for a normal donut or about $1.20 for a special donut and $1.20 for a loache or $2 for a special kolache the prices are very good. It's pretty clean inside. They have a cooler with beverages of many varieties inside. They are able to microwave kolaches to warm them and fresh fill Donuts with a desired filling (if ordering a filled donut). It's a solid spot to stop in real quick for breakfast and go.

Owned by a young family, the husband was very kind and even made me smile with his warmth and interest in me as a customer. The donuts and kolaches were fresh and delicious. He had a good selection of items as well.
