Terrible experience. Predominantly white atmosphere. I take note of it only because my friends and I were waiting in line to play pool. These Caucasian men came and cut and said we play after them. When we didn't stand for it and were not gonna get punked over that so we told them no and when the bartender showed up he said we better come down or both parties are going out. So my friends and I calmed down and when one of the men in the opposing party continues to get in my friends face they throw us out the bar and not the white people. So never going back to that racist bar

A little gem of East End. Locals there will tell you the history of the location, which is vast and fairly amusing. Parking is limited, but street parking in the adjacent block is known to be a safe spot for all vehicles. Bartenders are lovely people inside and out and tend to have good conversations with patrons. Patio is decently sized and events such as "plant swaps" and the occasional up-and-coming food vendor also frequent this locations. Cheap drinks, comforting atmosphere. A local favorite.

Gabby is a terrible very rude bartender. I definitely would never be back due to the experience she had given. Her being rude not wanting to serve ppl when there’s 15 min still left. Just terrible.

One of the WORST customer service experiences I have encountered in a long time. If they have cameras at this bar, the owner needs to replay his tapes and re-train staff. The bartender refused me service after I had the right to ask him why I was having to show my ID a second time after showing it to the bouncer. My friend initially took the ID to the bartender for me because I was at the jukebox giving the establishment business, and the bartender made my friend pull me to the bar to personally show my ID to him. The bartender was only proud and full of ego with his responses. When I asked to speak to the owner the bartender lied and claimed it was him (later I was told by other employees he was not). The bartender refused me service for asking legitimate questions in a cordial manner. I wanted to know why I was being ID'd a second time was all. On top of that, all of the locals who frequent the bar ganged up on me and took the bartender's side whilst telling me to leave for absolutely no legitimate reason. I asked another employee for the owner's contact and he responded with "It's a dive bar no one is going to help you" which shows how much this establishment cares about new patrons. I DO NOT recommend this establishment. It's run down, staff is pretentious, and the area feels unsafe.

First bar I’ve been to that provides women’s personal emergency needs(super cool) everyone’s very nice, the bar is clean. The pupusas we had last night were delicious! I’ll definitely be back!

I love dive bars and this bar i definitely one of my favorite in the Houston area, love the whole vibe definitely will be coming back also the prices were good and our bartender was kool loved his playlist big fan of this bar

Every bartender is straight trash Travis, Gabby, Ian, Shannon and the other one I just don't care to remember her name, but the coffee was amazing enough for 5 stars. Also food pop ups are always bomb. I think it was forks on water he had bangin wings. peep the cigarette machine.

A small East End gem. Locals will be able to fill you in on the location's lengthy and hilarious history. Parking is few, although the nearby block's street parking is reputed to be a secure location for all automobiles. Bartenders are often friendly individuals who enjoy interacting with customers. The patio is of a reasonable size, and "plant swaps" and the occasional emerging food vendor visit the area. Cheap drinks and a cozy setting. favored by residents.

As few people as there are in this place, it should not take so long to get a drink.

Great little bar on the size of the road. It's pretty small, but you don't have to be a regular to feel welcomed. The bar staff is always friendly. Drinks are cheap, and they have an interesting selection of beers. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Pool is available to play for $1.

Cool place, we’ve only gone a handful of times but we have never had a bad experience . Bartenders were always very nice. The indoor seating area is pretty limited, there’s like 2 booths. Outdoor is a little more spacious, several table benches. Cool scene, cool people

Racially bias wouldn’t accept any forms of Identification I Presented to them nor would allow me to purchase a drink even though I’m 25 years old

Great neighborhood bar. Good beer selection with lots of sour ales. Happy hour staff is always awesome. Friendly pool table crowd if you're down for a game. Leashed dog-friendly. Pop up food service in the evenings most of the time.

If you're looking for a true dive bar, you need to visit Danny Speedo's. Service is great and the patrons are friendly. We'll definitely be back.
