This place has ton of roaches, didn't stay had to check out. And front desk didn't seem to be concerned. Just said "oh y'all checking out early y'all just got here" and we're like "yeah this hotel had roaches"! All she said was "okay I'll tell them". They need to close the doors to this Hotel and light a torch .No one should be staying here under those circumstances. And we was there with our baby! Definitely absolutely a Hell No for me!

Bed bugs! We woke up to BED BUGS on our clothes. Do not come here and if you do thoroughly check your bed first. Also, you get what you pay for. Beware that some of the amenities they have posted arenā€™t true. They posted free shuttle to and from airport and when it came to we had to pay for taxis. Also the rooms smell and they are too cheap to have the air on at night

The positives.... hot water & clean sheets! The room was not the cleanest and had a very strong musty odor. Bath towel had a lot of extra hair that definitely wasn't mine! Was a place to crash for a few hours...would probably stay again if no other options...

This place is and was a terrible experience. When checked-in and tried to open the door seems some access card issue. Not able to open. When I go and asked the front desk. Her behavior was not professional. She got irritated whatever I ask. She gave another key, thatā€™s works only some time, this time Lights and AC didnā€™t work in my room. When I go and asked again, one more person with her(Iā€™m not sure he is the manager or service guy) he came and tried to open the door. Didnā€™t work, this time he used his access card. I asked without light and AC, how can I stay in this room with 3 year old baby. He was very angry and said that AC will work after some time and light is not life threatening. Sunday is off for service people, will fix this tomorrow. I asked, pls change the room. Very difficult for family with baby. He said, We canā€™t change the roomā€¦ if you want stay or go, we canā€™t do anything else for you. I got shocked. I never faced this kind of service in my life.

Worst experience ever for a hotel. Tried calling for 15 minutes to get the ā€œfree airport shuttleā€ and nobody would answer the phone. Had to give up and schedule my own ride. Entire property was a mess. Couldnā€™t get room keys to work. Finally got moved to a new room and upon opening the door, cockroaches went scurrying in the room. Demanded my money back and left for a better hotel immediately.

We didnā€™t stay at this hotel for our whole trip but the one night we stayed there it wasnā€™t pleasant. First, the pool was closed ā€œdue to COVIDā€ but in reality it was closed for renovation. We had stayed at this hotel before and we had a good stay so we thought it would be nice this time as well. We walked into our room and there was a couple of stains on the carpets but we didnā€™t think too much of it. Then when I walked into the bathroom I was disgusted to see a roach in the sink. I continued to check the room and i realized the sheets were dirty. The sofa bed was also very dirty. But the only nice thing was one lady at the front desk was very friendly and understanding, unfortunately I didnā€™t get her name but she was very helpful!

I asked for a pillow and they refused saying they do not have any. I let them know my back hurts if when I lay on my back to sleep and do not prop my legs up with a pillow due to a fall I had. I asked if they could get from another room because the hotel was not full. They said the do not have any pillows still. The room smells like urine bad. First time a hotel has not given extra pillow. I would understand if the hotel was full but clearly is not. Very rude by saying we do not have any pillows period.

The room that we stayed in had a lot of roaches. I asked to change rooms but the room that they changed us to also had roaches and smelled like cigarettes. The night auditor on duty didnā€™t know what she was doing and manager didnā€™t even reached out to help us out with anything. Based on other peopleā€™s reviews, it seems like this happens often yet they donā€™t fix anything! They also charged me extra for some reason without telling me ahead of time. I will be calling customer relations.

This place is and was a terrible experience. The AC is complicated to work the room was clean but the bathroom was all rusty after traveling all day you would want to take a hot shower did not happen here. The best part about them is taking advantage of outside travelers by putting unnecessary charges to your credit card like no one won't follow up. Then taking weeks to respond have I mentioned I have called several times with no follow up would not recommend at all there are several hotels pick somewhere else to stay. If you do stay take pictures of what was in your room before and after there are time stamped. Please save yourself don't put a penny in this you will end up paying more then you intended to.

The hallway on the 2nd floor had a strong mildew smell. As soon as we walked in the room we saw a live roach on the nightstand. We killed it and checked the beds, thankfully never saw another. We didn't realize until late the first night there was no hot water in the shower. Front desk said maint had gone home and she'd send them first thing in the morning. A manager came up to confirm there was no hot water. When I tried asking about changing rooms or getting some kinda discount he just said "I don't handle that" and let the door close in my face. We had to call back the next day to get maint to come and replace the handle it the shower. After all that everything went smoothly. The beds and pillows were really comfortable atleast.

Good location. Close to the Houston Hobby Airport which was convenient at night when we got in very late and didn't have to go far for the hotel. Sofa sleeper bed was absolutely unless and we couldn't use it. Out of toothbrushes as well.

This hotel is not even a hotel, it's horrible. The manager (like an older Mexican guy) is down right rude and needs to be fired seriously. The rooms are sub par. Sometimes the doors don't fully lock so if you don't watch yourself when you're exiting the room, you may come back to things missing. At this point this is more like a run down motel than a hotel. PLEASE AVOID THIS ESTABLISHMENT AT ALL COST! I know it's cheap for sure but even though it's cheap, there are a lot, and I mean A LOT of headaches!

THE WORST CHOICE TO STAY!!!! I got overcharged around $140 for snacks we didn't eat, breakfast we didn't eat and they wanted to charge for extra guess. We got 2 rooms. The pool was closed and laundry room unavailable. My kid open the sofabed just because and it was smelly and dirty.

Don't ever stay at choice hotels hobby airport. Sat in the parking lot bawling my eyes out because I booked a room using my rewards points, and they canceled it while I was in the air. They decided last week they are no longer taking reservations using rewards, and i booked my room over a month ago. The man behind the counter didn't even want to tell me why it was canceled, just that he called me. He was extremely rude until i got the rewards people on the phone. How the hell am I supposed to get a call while I am in the air. I was flying in for my uncles memorial service.

The manager is a confessed thief. They will take $ that isn't theirs from your card, and then blame their "system" and tell you that it can't be fixed. We almost had to call the authorities, but I guess someone should, or will eventually. Most of the claims about this hotel online are false. There is no bus parking. In fact, there is hardly any parking. There is no breakfast. There is hardly any service at all. Keep driving past this kalkuttan scam fest.

TRASH SUITE!!! i was trying to cancel my reservation after reading the reviews but it was too late they said and now i experience what the reviews saying it is trash. BEWARE WHEN GIVING THESE PEOPLE YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION they are going to take advantage of it. They charge bogus charges just out of the blue for no reasonā€¦ -THIS IS FROM SOMEONEā€™S REVIEW FROM THIS HOTEL AND ITā€™S TRUE. We checked out saturday August 12 and today august 14 i got 2 separate charges from this hotel $17 and $11. Read the review first before booking from this hotel. I regret booking to this one. Terrible experience. Itā€™s a scam. They charge my credit card 4 times It cost me $211.28 for 1 night and that includes the hidden charges.

Weā€™ve stayed at this location several times over the year. The most recent was over the Thanksgiving Holiday and with that, weā€™ll not be back again. The lady training at the front desk was very understanding. The cleaning staff is amazing. As for the hotel and management, itā€™s gone down hill. The pool has been closed every time we were there, they should update that on the Internet along with no laundry onsite. After the manager said he would take care of a few things right away, we went four days with a missing refrigerator dial where everything froze that went in. WiFi is horrible, took same four days for him to get us an Ethernet cable. They charged $31.60 on our card with no receipt and to this day no explanation from management. Still waiting for our Choice points he said he would give us for our inconvenience with the refrigerator and wifi. Stopped by in person multiple times and keep being told heā€™s not in. Weā€™ve been promised an email with the receipt along with a call back, and are still waiting. We are not happy customers!!

The check in was easy an fast. The only problems I had was that it was suppose to have a couch bed but it was awful. The mattress was all dirty an ripped up. Didn't have any extra covers for the couch bed. So my daughter had to sleep on the couch. An I was never told breakfast time so when my wife an kids went down there, there was nothing left. The front desk said it was from 630 to 9. But was never told the time at check in. Then they say free breakfast. When I made it back to Dallas an woke up Monday I was charged $22 from the hotel. So I called an tale to Miguel he said that I was charged for 6 breakfast. I thought it was FREE like I tell me kids there nothing free in this world. But Miguel told me if I didn't eat then he was going to refund me my money back. But never seen my refund until today!!! But just make sure you ask the extra question an you should be ok.

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT STAY HERE. The lobby is deceiving of the rooms. I am a rewards member and I am completely dissatisfied with my experience. As soon as I entered my room, there were roaches. I asked for a room change, and ANOTHER roach was found. I did not even stay a night yet I was charged multiple nights. I was assured that I would receive a full refund, yet I was charged 3-4 times in my account. I called several times to clear things up but the ā€œmanagerā€ was always ā€œbusyā€. Donā€™t stay here.

First I do want to say I live in HOUSTON. So picking the Comfort Suites Hobby Airport was a personally choice because I was thinking being by the airport I was getting a good deal price wise!!!! I have to give a shot out to MGUEL is was so pleasant on the phone making my reservation and he actually made me feel like he was going over and beyond to book my room and he did. My stay dates Nov. 5-13 i was little upset that the phone in my room the bathroom toilet didn't work. But my house cleaning lady ROSARIO has been the best since i got here she fixed my toilet without me knowing and i appreciate that dearly. again i went to wash my clothes and the machine were out of service. which was again disappointing... I left tomorrow and I have to say the Washer and dryers are being worked on today :) makes me happy. i would have stayed here longer if the little things i needed were working unfortunately i had book me another place not knowing things would get fixed!!!!! I want to say the staff here Great and I have gotten the pleasure to Meet Dee, Maria , Miguel, Rosario, Miranda and Jessica... and they all are Great to the owner You have a great staff and i hope in the future the hotel is kept up with because you have a good location. So for the staff and the improvements Thanks and I have enjoyed my stay...Ana

My husband and I stayed the weekend. The rooms was big, bed was comfy. The hotel overall could use an upgrade. I was told that it is being renovated. There were many restaurants near the area. Courtney at the front desk was very nice and friendly.

Room condition was pathetic - - Comforter was in torn condition. On informing the front desk, i was told they can't replace it as they have shortage. - bed sheet had stains. - No door handle on bath door, unable to lock from inside. - Bath exhaust did not work. - room had paint coming off at many places, patches. - coffe maker didnt have mug and was not given even after informing frontdesk. The location of hotel is great if you are planning site seeing. The staff lady working near breakfast area was really great. I have had positive experiences with choice hotels except this one.

So, first thing, I asked for an early check in but nothing was available. I ended up waiting a half hour after the 3:00 check in time but when I got up to the room, the housekeepers hadn't finished with it yet so I waited in the hallway while they finished.. not a huge deal. My first impression of the room was that it appeared to be clean and the beds were neatly made. The bed was extremely comfortable with high quality pillows and down alternative comforter. (The bed was by far my favorite thing about this room) The shower was clean and had great water pressure and hot water never ran out or anything. All was going well until the 2nd night when I got up to go to the bathroom. I turned on the light and noticed there were bugs quickly scattering. Yes, roaches! Lots of them!! Not just a couple. I killed at least 6! I decided to leave right away. I let the woman know at the service desk and she didn't seem surprised. She did apologize and said they would call an exterminator immediately. (Don't think this is a high priority to her as she didnt seem to think of this as an urgent matter and after reading other reveiws, seems like this has been an issue for the past few years!) will have to quarantine my stuff when I get home to be sure nothing got into my luggage šŸ˜© Last thing is, I was very disappointed that the pool wasn't opened yet as the weather was between 75 and 90 degrees throughout our stay. They hadn't even begun the process though...

Amazing room. The furniture within the rooms were very comfy. The only complaint is maybe just that I couldnā€™t figure out how to turn on the tv and put a channel on but I donā€™t know if that came with the room. Other than that, great service from the staff.

Great space. Great beds. Great shower. Very friendly and helpful staff. My only complaint is that the rooms are dated. 1990's. Rooms need new paint. T.V. is dated, not flat screen as we know it today and small. Didn't eat the breakfast buffet, but it smelled delicious.

Dissaapointed with this location. We stayed with Choice Hotel brands for the last few years and found this one a bit neglected. They need to add a warning message that they are trying to remodel and no elevator service. It is tough to find last-minute room nearby for reasonable price. Good thing we've always traveled w Lysol wipes and spray. Need lots of attention or remove from the Comfort suite brand.
