Absolutely the best Mexican food you can find in the city! The best queso green sauce salsa everything! My husband and I dined here last night and he had the del Mar, and I had two beef enchiladas which I crushed my queso chip on top of and it was just divine!

Tex-Mex is usually not a top choice of mine, but the food here was so good! Our server was sweet and very knowledgeable about the menu. She made a great recommendation to get the pollo marisco. I choose cilantro rice (no beans) for the side. The chicken was so juicy, tender and flavorful, and the portion size was more than enough. Plus my leftovers heated up well the next day. I enjoyed their margaritas too. This was the best Tex-Mex meal I’ve ever had at any restaurant. No complaints here!

As far as Tex-Mex goes, this is one of the better places I've been. The chicken enchiladas with tomatillo Verde sauce is the best I've had at a restaurant. The chicken was well seasoned and the sauce wasn't too tangy or sweet. The Mexican rice was not good, in my opinion, but the cilantro rice was decent and had a little kick to it. The borracho beans were very flavorful! They were delicious. My husband got the diablo combo with chicken and shrimp and he said it was cooked and seasoned well. The shrimp were big and the butter sauce just made them even better. My son ordered the Rodriguez dinner and he really enjoyed it. We also had the Cadillac margaritas but they were not that good. I ordered mine on the rocks and it was pretty warm for a margarita... Definitely don't suggest getting those. Overall I'd definitely come back for the chicken enchiladas verdes and borracho beans!

I hadn't been to this restaurant in years. My siblings and I decided to meet there for happy hour. Our server Hiram was awesome. We all enjoyed our drinks. The pink diamond was yummy. The bomb pop was good. The iggy margarita (happy hour special) was good. I had the peach flavored one. It didn't seem to have much liquor in it. My only suggestion would be for them to increase the number of happy hour items.

I have always liked Iguana Joes, but I specifically like this location compared to others I’ve been to. I just feel the service is always better here and there is never a wait. Food has been a good consistent quality. Can’t comment much on their margaritas yet, I’ll give them a try next time. His Fave: Lizard Wings Her Fave: Enchilada Plate with Amazon Sauce

Aaliyah is an amazing waitress. Everything she recommended was awesome. The Mexican Candy Margarita was my favorite. Will definitely return & request her section.

Diana was our waitress and did an amazing job explaining the popular menu items. She notified us what would cost extra regarding substitutions. The drinks kept getting refilled and food was promptly served hot and fresh. Would definitely come back again. Restroom was dirty.

Met up my girl and her family here. First time and I do have to say, the food is delicious. The stuffed avocado is fire 🔥. But I'll come back just for the chips and salsa alone. And the numerous flavors of margaritas.. wow. I tried the Mexican flag margarita 🍹 did not disappoint. Yep, definitely will be back.

I came in to eat while my getting a new tire and I’m so glad I stopped by. Ben was my server and he was amazing. He had the best customer service and was so knowledgeable on the menu items. I’m a vegetarian and he made sure to accommodate every request I had. He was so friendly and welcoming! He even introduced me to fried Oreos, which are so good. The general manager Belinda was also very sweet. She stopped by to check on me and made sure that I enjoyed everything. I’m so happy I stopped by.

My husband and I ate here late on a Saturday afternoon. The place had a few people but certainly not what you could call “busy”. I ordered a large house margarita, frozen with mango flavor, which was excellent. My husband and I both ordered the Rodriguez platter, he with combo fajita nachos, and I ordered mine with chicken. The waiter even repeated it correctly, but mine came out with combo beef and chicken nachos. The waiter apologized and said he’d have it remade, would take about 10 minutes. I offered to take the combo to save the wait time, just charge me for the price of the chicken. But the waiter said no, they couldn’t do that. I asked, “but you’re just going to throw it away?” He confirmed yes, they would toss it. So I had to wait while they remade my meal, which was over ten minutes, and my husband being a proper gentleman (despite me telling him to eat!) waited until my food was served. Of course his was cold by then. So they’d rather toss an entire plate then to let a customer have it for TWO DOLLARS less, and make them wait an extra 13 minutes. No logic there!! Def do not recommend. We went tonight for my sister's birthday ordered the big red margarita, and it was mostly all big red. There was just a bit of frozen M. at the bottom, I never ever ever ever complain but we talked to the manager and what he did was add a bit more frozen margarita, it came back still mostly liquid, and melted, so we just sent it back completely. Food wasn't great. Def will not return. Our waitress was nice and she was not the issue. Manager could of handled the situation from the beginning a bit better. We had a party of 8

I ordered the Family fajita dinner to go, and got a plate full of sautéed onions with green peppers. The fajita was in no way enough for 5 people. I will definitely not order that again as a to go plate. $70+ spent on very little food.

The food and service are okay. I typically order beef enchaladas and they're pretty good. It's been freezing cold lately, which makes it hard to enjoy your food. The drinks are okay and they have a happy hour special.

Food was good... Margarita was excellent. On in big on restrooms being clean and I have to say to the were ok. Fast service also when getting food we order. Overall I would go again.

The playground thing is cool for us parents unless it's Texas' 400 degrees outside, and your kid throws a fit because they want to play outside 🙄. Food was pretty good, wasn't a fan of the "atmosphere" someone came by asking if we wanted a picture taken, we were also placed right towards the front in a both with our youngest in high chair, right in the walkway... one lady even bumped him with her purse. 😩 so my advice is to move people like us further in, kind of out of the way. Our waitress was polite but asked for something we never got, assuming she forgot, but she was very polite and did refill our drinks once, so it works. Wasn't super impressed with our first time here. But food was good, so that's really all that matters, I guess.

Jose’ Quervo would love this place. This is a chain restaurant that I’m slowly falling in love with. I normally stick to stuffed avacado or beef fajitas. The are good but run of the mill average. Ok tonight my ranking of this place just went up a notch. I ordered the tropical salad with roasted chicken. It had mandarin oranges and strawberries!!! Yes fresh sliced strawberries in the salad. It had more chicken on it than my date’s fajita. It was delicious! The wait staff was outstanding! I enjoyed Jose’s margarita too.

The food & service was good! They kept the chips & salsa coming steadily which is always good with a large group. They have large portion sizes so feel free to order whatever you’d like and feeling confident that you’ll be fully satisfied. Oh, they also have free ice cream and a play area for younger kids. Recommendation: Beef fajita enchiladas!

I can't believe it took so long for us to try this restaurant. It's like 5 minutes from our house. If you're in the mood for tex-mex then I would definitely recommend this place. My go to is the combo enchiladas in tomatillo sauce, served with cilantro rice and charro beans. My other recommendation is the fajitas, they have home made flour tortillas. Every time we been here the service has been great. The manager comes around asking how the food is. The food comes out pretty quick, and it's always hot and freshly made. We never had a problem here. This is one of me and my wives favorite date night spot. Wish we would have started going here sooner. If you want Tex-mex then this is the spot!

We got there early and were seated right away. We were served immediately, and the food was ready in no time. The food was great, my whole family loved it.

Food was good, but prices on the menu are not the prices charged. My child ordered lemonade. It was ($3.49)overly priced pink lemonade, but the receipt said freshly squeezed.Squeezed from the box of HI-C. The Veracruz was not the same price on the menu.

Great location...fast service Our Server Leah was the best! Very attentive to our table, she went over and beyond. The food was delicious, great flavor and everything was hot.

No Smoking in the Bar Like the Location in Crosby, the Food was Very Hot but the Prices were a Bit Higher then I Remember. No Receipt, Everything is Done Electronically..... I'll Go to Armenta's Next Time....
