I requested my food to made to order (fresh) , the drive thru attendant says, " I mean it's pretty fresh we just opened." You open at 10:30, I was there at 11:30 the food is no longer fresh. The fish was caramelized on the edges and tough, the fries tasted old and burned, I could tell they were sitting out for a long time. The corn and hush puppies were good. If you wouldn't eat the food don't sell it to a customer.

Here the past few months their service has steadily declined. Twice now I’ve waited it out in the drive thru for over 30+ minutes. I was trying to be patient. But once I finally got to speaker, I sat there a while with now answer and just gave up. Once I went inside thinking it would be faster, but it still took 30+ minutes. Plus going inside reveals the non-facial expression and turtle slow moving employees. I’m a long time Long John Silver’s fan, but drive the extra distance to any of the other ones. This one is broken.

Long John Silver's has fallen so far in recent years. I've always liked their food, but they've closed so many locations in the Houston area. There's only one location inside the Beltway; all the others are in the suburbs including this one. I made the crosstown trek to this one over in eastern Harris County, and it is a "Long John Silver Express" location, meaning they have a subset of the full LJS menu. That didn't bother me, because I usually get the chicken and shrimp combos anyway, but it may disappoint true LJS fans. I had two issues with my visit, both relatively minor in the grand scheme of things. The first was that the food was slightly overcooked, making it a little bit harder to bite into. The second was that a rather ghetto panhandler tried to hit me up for money as I left, and when I waved him off, got a brief torrent of street-level epithets in return. So if you visit this location, watch out for folks like that. Otherwise, this location is decent. It's a little better than the North Freeway location I visited the prior weekend. The seating area was clean, the tables had been wiped down, and the server at the counter was nice. Long John Silver's has good food. Their corporate management just needs to be a little more dedicated at committing to the Houston market.

Food was fresh and hot. But they charged me an extra .69c, for "crumbs" or crumbles, which is just the fried batter, that flakes off fish, during the frying process.. The crumbles, are normally FREE...they added an extra .69cent to my bill. Not cool

There was only 1 person in the whole restaurant that spoke English, and it was his first day on the job. It took about 10 minutes to order our food. I don't have a problem with non English speakers, but don't put them where they have to engage with people who don't speak Spanish.

To begin with I wanna say the Shift manager was really nice and helpful to my issues.. First of all my chicken on the LJS platter was literally pink in the middle! Second thing was they had no Louisiana Hot sauce in a bottle like all the rest of the stores do.. be had to open a box and get one out, when their shelf out front should always be stocked, third thing is, they No plastic ware anywhere, not a spoon, not a fork, not a spork, nothing..and when they gave me a replacement chicken it took way longer to get it back .. and lastly, I stood at the counter for while and not a team member asked what i needed, again the shift manager was the only one taking care of customers.. with a half a dozen staff and only one person pays attention to the front.. To say the least, this was not a good experience.. i highly recommend the A&W LJS over off of 45 N. Before beltway 8 exit.. That's the best LJS in Houston, great service, awesome food and one of a kind delicious Root Beer made at their store..

A one star is being way to nice. This location has issues. The food was old hard and like rubber. I think fried boot leather would had been better. The service was very disappointing. They forgot about my order and after waiting 20/25 minutes and watching about 10 customers after me and my wife receive their orders we had to address the situation. Really couldn't eat our food because it was horrible. I love Long John Silver's been eating it since I was a kid. We use to have one in Beaumont years ago but this was the worst experience I've ever had. 1st time to visit this location and last time as well. Class was taught here today... Lesson learned!!!!!

What the hell? this is what I get for Cole slaw? I even bought an extra one and didn't get that. So I paid for something and they take something away instead. This place is horrible. My fish was so over cooked or old my fish was dried. NOT CRUNCH But DRIED. Please stay away from this place. I wish they never closed down the uvalde or federal long johns. It seems that now that they combined with taco Bell it gets worse and worse each year

Order was wrong. No tartar sauce the day before. No tartar sauce or tea today. Floors and restrooms a mess both days. Lids empty. Only Diablo sauce. It's just as ghetto as the Walmart up the street.

I know better than to get Long John Silver's food here. First they don't filter the oil so there are little prices of burned breading on your food. Next they forget the little crunchies, then they ask what condiments you want and forget to put them in the bag. I should know better, this location has good Taco Bell, but the LJS is simply awful.

Went thru the drive thru to purchase one piece fish, fries, hush puppies, shrimp, drink, and a two extra pieces of fish only to find out that the establishment is completely out of ketchup for my food which threw me off that I didn’t realize he didn’t give me my drink. I had to stop and purchase ketchup and a drink further down the road.

Ordered a family pack was told to pull around to the front, waited there for 20 minutes, went inside to check and they totally forgot... got my money back, no apology from the manager (should be fired immediately)or anything, will never spend another dime here, hope they close it down.

Long John Silver's and Taco Bell are owned by the same parent company so they have both restaurants in one building. I don't know why people are given a bad review maybe they've never eaten that a Long John Silver's anywhere else they're all the same. As far as I know they use processed and pressed codfish I'm sure there's any other kind of fish in their mix. Where else are you going to get hush puppies and a taco? If you like fast food this is about as good as any.

The food was yummy. I know a lot of people hate on LJS but I just love it. The wife did not think she would enjoy it and really only agreed to go for my benefit but once she seen the malted vinegar she was excited and ended up enjoying the food too. The up side to this location is that it is a tacobell combination long john silvers so it's easier to please the whole family!

Very disappointed. The whole experience was bad. From taking the order to getting it. Customer service is not what it used to be!Since when do you charge for the crumbs that normally get thrown away? I went thru the drive thru and had to turn around go back because after paying for the crumbs they were left out. The food was sooo grease soaked I couldn't eat it. Won't be back.

This location is a Taco Bell with a Long John Silver's. My wife ordered TB and I ordered LJS. Can't say it was one or the other, they both were horrible. To find a LJS is a diamond in the rough around here, still waiting on the diamond cause this was all rough. Fish wasn't crispy and the shrimp was on the old side. You think it being a LJS Express with a limited menu they would excell. WRONG..!!! As far as the Taco Bell. Nothing was cooked properly. Items that were supposed to be grilled were barely toasted. We asked for no tomatoes on everything, would think we asked for extra. 2 stars cause they had a good selection of drinks and tea was ok.
