I am so disappointed. I've shopped here for years. Got here today and started doing but everything was so high. Prices have jumped. Beans that were 3/$1 are now .60 each, drinks that were $1.75 are now $1.98, a pack of chicken breast that used to be $14 is now $24. I got on my Kroger app and started checking prices. I had to leave a cart of food at Joe Vs which is supposed to be a discount store, they keep prices low by making us do the work, to go to Kroger's where the food is cheaper, they sack my groceries and I get fuel points for shopping. I am so disappointed in the greed. Shame on you HEB

A subsidiary of the HEB grocery chain....offering warehouse prices. You really will save BIG !!!!! However, do not expect with a big store a big selection, you only have basic selections. But selection is great if your on a budget. Buy what you need, not what you want. Careful of the confused paranoid managers not knowing the definition of the word "soliciting". Or, the difference between a private grocery store (i.e. Costco or Sam's Club) and a private company open to the public grocery store.

Shopping at Joe V's has Warehouse shopping vibes. Not to say that that's a bad thing you there is Variety in this place a very surprised. Many of the products lean toward the Latin community. A wide variety of fresh fruits and veggies are available.

This store! Really does save you some money. I went in to get my usual groceries and then using the Walmart app I added the same items to compare the price and it was a Big difference! Joe Vs saves money big time

I have been shopping here for quite some time but tonight I was really amazed of course I have the best prices in town but this particular Joe V's has the greatest customer service I've ever dealt with. A young lady named Elizabeth who is restocking the shelves saw the loss look in my face and asked me if she could help she took the time to not only point out where I can get the products that I needed but help me at least five different times so I could get it before the store closed thank you very much Elizabeth.

Listen, this is a warning if you go get meat from this Jovi's. Bring your scale or something because they owe us almost $15. The meat was overweighed, hence overpriced. I'm calling them in the morning.

It's a amazing place food is pretty cheap and over all it's just amazing and welcoming only downside is having to pack your own bags but it's not that bad

Love Joe V’s most affordable place to buy all your household needs and food. They do not have alot of items you're would find in a regular store tho.

Their jars of peanut butter and jelly are tastier and MORE AFFORDABLE than what I usually pay at Dollar General, the same goes for their frozen meat that I go through at Food Town. It's a good place to shop and there are more registers open than other stores, and I think they have a self-checkout.

I have shopped groceries in many places Houston. This one is TOP. From groceries to dog and cat food no store can compete with this.INDEED

Although always crowded Joe V's is well worth the trip. Greatly reduced prices & some foods that aren't easily found elsewhere. Check the fresh fruit and produce. Prices are half that of competitors.

Great grocery store and great prices. This is where I get the bulk of our groceries. Produce and meats are fresh and pantry section is well stocked. They carry lots of heb and hill country fare branded items which are less expensive but they also have some brand name things as well. They also occasionally carry central market branded things but not all the time.

Good selection of meats, veggies, and fruits. Friendly and helpful employees. Fair prices. The only suggestion I have is Joe V's should have the handicap shopping carts for people that are not able to walk much. I didn't see any when I was there. That doesn't mean that they don't have any. But if not, getting some would be helpful.

Improved since my last post. They run out of meat really fast so go early if you really need a particular item. Lines can be long at times.

The prices are good and the fruit is very delicious, they have some fruit that you can’t find at your local walmart like sapote, baby mangoes, rambutans. However the pan dulce here🥐 is so bad, & THE STAFF always have an attitude so I always use self checkout but other than that great store.

The store is well stocked. The parking is horrible. The lines are too long all the time.

Great if you got soon as they open then you don't have to worry if they are going to have what you they open at 7 am every day

Good selections of all types of meats. Can goods galore! Veggies and fruit looking pretty fresh. Lots of shoppers even though prices have skyrocketed.

Large store carries some things in bulk. Low prices. Good selection on canned goods. Handicap parking/entrance.

This is great store shop at. They have good sales. And it not expensive to do shopping here like the other big stores. They are fully stocked.

Some of there prices are good on some items. Then the store was over crowded with people. The cashiers seem to have bad attitudes. Then she told me it was my job to bag my own groceries. No one is paying me to bag groceries or giving me a discount. So I believe that's your job.

Prices are amazingly low, but they just carry a handful of the name brands, which makes sense if they just have more heb brands than anything. But heb is awesome too

This is a store I go to like rarely because there isn't one that is near to where I live at. I love there prices if I had a Joe V's near me I would definitely go to it more frequently.

Sure the prices are crazy good but that's about the only thing. The store is just as dirty as the parking lot. I won't buy meats there anymore, you have a fifty fifty shot at getting spoiled meats. There fruits and vegetables However are always on point. You can't say no to fresh backed rolls either.

Love the prices, they just need to hire some sort of parking lot maintenance to maintain the parking lot. Too much trash, empty bags floating around, fast food containers etc. PLEASE make these changes, will make for a better shopping experience and will give you a 4 - 5 star rating next time!
