Service was great. Coffee was too sweet (hazelnut macchiato). But the reason I give 1 star less is the room / layout. There is no nice seating spot near a window. I personally don’t like sitting staring into a wall or next to storage room. And those are all the options… Good for a take away coffee - but not to work/study here..

I recently tried a fascinating blend of coconut and pandan flavours coffee in a delightful beverage called Island Latte. It is on the sweeter side though. The Spanish latte also seem interesting, would give it a try on my next visit. The barista was nice and gave some recommendation as a first timer. It was a unique and enjoyable combination. It is not a very big cafe but offers a cozy atmosphere with the option of outdoor seating.

This place is honestly one of my favorite coffee shops to come to! The parking is in a shopping/eating strip, so sometimes it might be hard to find parking. The coffee shop itself is a little small, but there are always empty seats you can sit at if you want to sit there. the early grey tea latte is my favorite! their chai tea is also good. You need to ask for a key to use the bathroom, and ask for the wifi password. the wifi is good and this place overall is the best! love Luce coffee. The service and atmosphere are very nice!

I’m definitely a fan of this coffee shop. They have the Lofi tunes playing, colorful map art on the wall which gives it an artsy feel, lovely aroma, & intimate atmosphere. I came specifically for the charcoal infused matcha aka “Black Forest” & this might just be my favorite coffee spot ever (sorry Toute!) They have lots of food options and baked goods (didn’t see any vegan treats) The baristas are super efficient and kind, greeting you as soon as you walk in. I could see myself coming here for a workspace in the middle of the week. The parking is free but in a strip center by one of the busy crawfish spots and some bars so be prepared for the craziness to find a spot. Right next to the Edwards Theater off Wesleyan so perfect for before/after a movie. They also have really nice plants/greenery!!

Tasty coffee and friendly staff. We stopped by randomly trying to find a new coffee spot for us. Hubby ordered the cortado and enjoyed it. I ordered the iced Island Latte and really liked it! Usually not a fan of coconut milk in my coffee but this was very good. Very creamy! Only thing, wish they had dairy-free pastries. Will definitely be back to try something new!

Great coffee spot. We went 2 days in a row during a quick Houston trip. Lattes were great, espressos pulled on point. We opted for 2 pumps of sweetness instead of their standard 3. Gave 4/5 stars for atmosphere bc of cleanliness, tables and chairs were dirty, but obviously from the high traffic. We decided to take our drinks to go. Match powder is pre-sweetened, can’t get this Black Forest with less sweetness. But! Still worth a sip. Will come back.

So far my favorite coffee place in Houston, the latte tasted delicious but not overly sweet. The guy recommended I get the tropical latte and I’m glad I listened, a unique coconut flavor! Also the almond croissant was delicious maybe a little too sweet but I would still get it again!

Love this coffee shop, And how the barista’s always measure the exact amount of milk to ensure the same balance between espresso and milk in their latte’s! My favorite is the Spanish latte! Seating is limited & only one functioning bathroom fyi!

We filled up on great Thai food and needed some caffeine, right next to the Thai Cottage is a Luce Coffee shop. This place is hard to find a parking spot so plan accordingly. The frozen blended coffee drink wifey got was done very well and I got to sample it from time to time. I got a large hot cappuccino with two splendas...the barista thought I said hot coffee but she gladly remade "old mumbles" the correct drink....no star deduction since she was working with a handicap....me.

Cute cafe can't comment on their pastries because I stopped by mainly for their cortado. Cortado is just the right amt of bitterness. I got there after 2pm on a Sunday so the Madeleine's taste a little dry. Not enough tables to sit. Parking is hard to secure.

Coffee focused shop with amazing teas as well. Affordable prices and a very cute narrow set up inside. I ordered a strawberry tea iced and honestly...it was everything I wanted it to be in its flavor, sweetness, and strength. Perfectly sweet and a nice (not artificial tasting)strawberry flavor. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Nice store. Good service. Black Forest coffee just taste like coconut milk with sugar, not good at all.

The island latte with charcoal on top is one of the tastiest lattes I have ever had. The sweetener they use is very subtle and doesn’t overpower the other flavors. The pastry was very flaky and fresh. I am impressed, Luce!

Really nice cute local coffee shop. The coffee beans can say that are the best in town. I wish there was more comfortable seating…

Been awhile since I've been here but decided to come back since I was in the area. Got their Layered coconut Pandan latte + charcoal So good! Impressed by their creativity in their drinks!

Terrible customer service from the workers fixing the order. The Danish was very dry and the coffee was mediocre. The atmosphere is okay but not ideal for studying as it gets loud due to the number of people in the coffee shop and the size of the coffee shop. As far as price, for a Danish and coffee I paid a little over $11, and to be honest it seems a little high for the quality and what you are getting from this establishment. I will not be back again nor recommend it to anyone.

I always enjoy a good cup of coffee so I decided to stop by Sunday late afternoon for a drink. Upon entering the complex they are in I found it extremely difficult to find parking, I had to circle the entire complex before deciding to street park so take that into consideration if you are in a hurry. Their menu selection is very solid. They have activated charcoal coffee drinks which was new to me. Two drinks were ordered: Spanish latte iced - very sweet and bold, similar to a Vietnamese coffee. If you are not a sweet drinker but need a punch ask for half the sweetness. Very tasty and smooth. Montblanc iced - the charcoal taste is definitely there but very subtle. It has light sweetness and doesn’t taste much like coffee but it’s something I would be able to enjoy any day throughout the year. It’s pretty fun to swirl the drink once you get it. Overall the atmosphere is very relaxing and inviting. I can see myself spending time here browsing the web or working. I was unable to try any food at this time, it seemed like there wasn’t any food items left for purchase which is a bummer but I’m happy they sell out. The wait for our drinks was about 5-7 minutes from ordering and the total spend was $16.50 after tip. The reason for the star docket was due to parking. I would consider visiting again in the future at an earlier time to try their breakfast items and food.

Drink tasted ok, but the attitude of waitress was disappointed. I was interested in their montblanc with regular favored whole milk, but the “barista” girl said they cannot change ANYTHING about the drink, and it has to be with vanilla milk. OK fine. I decided to go with the black island drink instead, and wanted it light iced or no iced so it could tasted milk forward. The girl told me they would not fill the cup to the top with milk, and they were not making boba tea here, and they won’t be in change if the drink tasted bad with a bit more milk. What an attitude! Paid $7 ($1 tip for cashier boy) for a 4/5 filled drink. Not a happy customer today.

One of the best coffees I've had - ever. I ordered a regular latte, no syrups, and the coffee itself had a hazelnut/chocolate flavor undertones. It was not a flavored coffee - just good beans or roast or a combination of the both. It was a perfect temperature - didn't need to wait forever for it to be drinkable. Nice people working there. I didn't stick around to work or hang out, but it seemed like a nice space. I highly recommend the coffee.

Hands down my favorite coffee in this area. It's great to be able to stop here on my way to work. Especially if I have time to sit and enjoy their craft in store so I can appreciate their artistry in a proper cup. I always feel bad with to go orders that cover up the art and reduce the texture of the foam and espresso itself. Their roast is my favorite. And I have not had a bad pull from these talented and welcoming baristas. Always a joy to come here.

My husband and I came to this location and it did not disappoint! It’s a really small coffee shop. The employees are nice. I got a bacon, egg and cheese taco and it was good. Salsa was also really good, not spicy, but good flavor. My husband got the bacon, egg, and cheese on a danish and that was also really yummy! We also shared and apple danish which was yummy! I for the montblac and he got the black Forrest and it was also delicious!!

A warm, cozy, peaceful cafe with a hallway seating. They have a diverse coffee menu and they personally ask for a review and provide excellent recommendations!

I haven’t even left the establishment yet and I feel inclined to write this review. Nice little spot here, and the gentleman who works openings Thursday mornings was extremely pleasant and helpful and efficient. You can definitely study here because the volume level of the music is conducive to it, and not blasting, like in a nightclub or something. That was quite refreshing.

If you’re looking for coffee, REAL coffee, that you can actually taste… this is the place to go. You can even order your drink “full sweet” or “half sweet” all depends on your preference. I order full sweet and can STILL taste the flavor of coffee it’s really awesome. They have fresh pastries that are huge I usually order one and split with my roommate. Anyway, thanks Luce coffee and all your staff for their wonderful customer service and skills behind the bar! 10/10!
