I had a wonderful dining experience at Barcelona Restaurant and Lounge in Cypress, TX last Saturday during Restaurant Week. The restaurant is located in the heart of Vintage Park and offers a modern take on Spanish cuisine. The atmosphere is chic and sophisticated, with a warm and inviting vibe. I started my meal with the Paella del Mar, which was a generous portion of seafood cooked in a saffron rice and vegetable broth. The seafood was perfectly cooked and the flavors were perfectly balanced. I also enjoyed the Rum Flan for dessert, which was rich and creamy with a hint of sweetness. The service at Barcelona was excellent. Our waiter, Carlos, was attentive and knowledgeable about the special Restaurant Week menu

A most-go place if you are visiting town or if you are a local! I loved this place! I for sure will be coming back because the staff was amazing, the food was magnificent and the terrace area where we ate was also a bonus! I ordered their paella with a glass of red wine: 10/10. My friend ordered the salmon with vegetables and chimichurri (?) I want to say, at least that's what the sauce looked like. We were both delighted with the food taste and the environment was beautiful. The lady who took our order was also very good at recommending and explaining items in the menu. My friend and I both promised to come back for another round soon!☺️

Spent the weekend in tomball and stumbled upon this place. Nice atmosphere, great service and the food did not disappoint. The meatballs and calamari were delicious. We also tried the honey citrus salmon and my goodness was delicious. We really enjoyed dining on the patio! Looking forward to trying them.again the next time I visit Houston.

We had the best experience this past Saturday we made a reservation to celebrate our wedding Anniversary and we are please with the service and food everything was very delicious and the staff was super nice and friendly. We would definitely come back to visit Barcelona Restaurant Thank you so much for your service. Juan are waiter was so professional and he helped us on making the best choices in our food. Again Thank you so much for making our special night magical.

The place has potential; however, we were underwhelmed by the food. The staff was friendly, but not attentive. We were seated in an area that had this bright light, which was almost like a spotlight. Not very inviting for a date night. The wing appetizers came with a special surprise (a piece of metal). The waiter just responded with "How embarrassing" but didn't take it off our tab and a manager never stopped by to apologize. Overall for the price, I would choose to go some place else. We only had appetizers and drinks so perhaps the entrées are better but given our experience, we didn't stick around to find out. Good luck.

Beautiful restaurant, service was excellent, atmosphere was awesome. Dance lessons were being given. Food was not what I was hoping I would get. The steak was super chewy, the seafood in the paella was overcooked and the rice dry. Thought the price was pretty steep for what we got.

We started our meal with a caesar salad, 6 fresh Gulf oysters and blackened salmon filet, Albondingas (spanish meatballs), lamb chops & everything was perfectly cooked & seasoned The service was excellent. Our waiter, Tatiana, was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. And Chef Fran came to our table to introduce himself personally & we thoroughly enjoour first dining experience.

The management of the restaurant always greets their guests with a warm smile. The business owners have been running Barcelona for several years now, and the passion for cooking shines through in everything they do. People come from all over town to eat at Barcelona, and it's always packed during peak hours. The atmosphere is always lively and exciting, and it's a great place to bring your family for a special dinner out.

I came here during Houston Restaurant Week. We ordered the 4-course meal. It was our first time eating here. Everything was delicious! I especially loved my dessert and main course, the pechuga de pato. It blended both the savory and sweet flavors perfectly. My mom had the branzino and she loved her dish too. The margaritas sneak up on you 😆 I'd definitely come back here again to try other things from the menu!

We had an honor to visit Barcelona restaurant for a fundraiser they had scheduled. We were served an amaizing meal. Everything have tasted very good. Beet gazpacho that was served as a starter was gone in the blink of an eye. Our 8 month old baby girl (she loves grown up food) have absolutely loved it and eat it all so me and my husband had to share his. Salad and seafood paella were full of flavor and were filled with meat/seafood (large serving size too!). Cherry on the cake was olive cake desert! It was moist and perfectly balanced. We will definatelly be back!

Had a lunch party of 7 people and it was perfect!!! Not too crowded there and the food was all absolutely delicious. Manuel was our excellent server he and Vanessa took great care of us all!!!

My wife and I got really lucky to have a private dining experience at their upstairs patio for her birthday. Good spot to just people watch 😅. Great drinks, amazing food (go for the paella!), great service. Owner was able to drop by and say hi. Great for lunch dates or a quick bite and a cocktail in between shops at Vintage Park. Will definitely be back.

Excellent time at Barcelona tonight. The Barcelona sampler gave us the variety we were looking for. Our entree was the lamb chop paella, great flavor and textures, paired with the Fox Cave Pinot Noir. Then, the olive oil cake was soooo good. Highly recommend!

My new favorite restaurant! Absolutely amazing service and food was delicious. Everyone was so attentive and friendly. Even the owner and manager came around to greet everyone. Definitely will be returning again!

The staff made sure our anniversary dinner was special. The food was also great.

I went there to try out the Houston restaurant week menu. First course was tomato spray on the bread with prosciutto. Normally in BCN, authentic way should’ be Iberia ham. Third course was paella, the lobster tasted and smelled like ammonia, they use tomato to color the rice which it should be saffron. Not sure why there is some pea in there too. With $90 after tax and tips. This isn’t the quality of food I expected. But server apologized and gave a new Togo paella, restaurant has live band, go for hang out.

I had such high hopes for this restaurant. I was looking forward to their paella. Needless to say the experience was such a disappointment. 1st we were sat behind the stairs in a tiny table. Then I asked for a better table, so they set another awkward spot in the entry way. They finally sat us in a booth. The food was fine, but needed a little more flavor. I will say that management tried to accommodate us and provide us with a positive experience. Maybe, we'll go back someday.

Excellent food as always. Superb service. Delicate and relaxing atmosphere. Great place to have a nice fine dinner.

How can I give this restaurant more than 5 stars? Because it's truly amazing here. This is the first time I've been to a restaurant in the US with such excellent service. Yesterday was my birthday, and it was also the first time my family and I dined at such a delicious restaurant, especially the lamb. This will be a restaurant I will always remember when I return to my country.

We had our anniversary date with my husband, you should try Juan Pablo the waiter’s advices, he was really accurate suggesting what we should eat for the first time. I really enjoyed everything!!!

I ate lunch here with a friend earlier this week and everything was amazing. We ordered the pasta with seafood and marinara sauce and the sandwich with smoked salmon and shared the nutella mousse for dessert. Everything was very delicious and super flavorful. The service was fast and our server was pleasant. Overall we had an amazing experience, and I would definitely come again.
