The room was horrible, but the rest of the hotel was atrocious. The outside and lobby look okay, but the rest of the hotel needs serious work. It's filthy, dated, and broken. The only thing that was really good was the location and the lady taking care of breakfast. You can hear people using the bathroom in the other rooms as well as just hear people in the other rooms at normal sound levels. The room was filthy, grimy, and sticky. the carpet was burnt, the bathroom doors were broken, the soap dish in the tub was ripped off, and sticky stuff was on the front of the bathroom counter. There was hand prints everywhere, paint wearing off, gouges everywhere in the walls and wood work. The toilet barely flushed. The door handle to the room barely worked. The key card reader was on it's last leg. The elevator was a nightmare, it reeked like an elevator reminiscent of those I used in a third-world country. It was disgusting and its location in the hotel is ridiculous. There needs to be a serious repair and refresh. The hallways are disgustingly dirty and banged up with the wallpaper peeling off. They are so dated my grandparents would recognize them. I will not come back here until this place becomes updated and I will tell others to stay away.

When arriving at the hotel you walk into a very lovely lobby and we were greeted and the desk person was friendly. Check in was smooth and painless. They offer coffee and water in the lobby, they also have snacks and drinks you can buy. The rest of the hotel does need some upgrades and tlc although it appeared clean. The rooms were good size and clean. The problems we had were in the details. There really weren't enough of the room amenities for full occupancy. They also didn't seem to be placed with any thought. The bathroom was fine but there were only two washcloths and only small towels. Luckily we bring our own towels. The coffee maker was missing the piece where you insert the coffee and there were only 2 coffees anyway. There was no personal touches in the room at all. There was no welcome book like in other hotels we've stayed in, that tell where things are in the hotel and suggestions for restaurants and things in the area. There is also one ice machine in the the hotel and and it's on the first floor. The bones of the hotel are good but there are things that need to be worked on.

Unhealthy! And should be deemed unsafe! The pictures of the hotel from the exterior makes it look nice. But once you get into the hallways to get to the rooms you understand that the exterior has NOTHING to do with the inside. Smelly rooms with stains on the carpet and MOISTURE. To the point that the carpet and chairs have active MOLD. Disgusting!

Great place to stay. Wonderful friendly staff. They have a nice pool. The breakfast is always hot and very delicious. Also, they are pet friendly.

They get the most important thing right:. Sleep! The room is DARK and the beds are comfortable. But the hotel overall is all stained and run down and pretty smelly. The room smelled fine both times I was there. Hallways smelled like a high-school boys bathroom during a janitorial strike.

Just incredible! Feels like high-level hotel, very, very well maintained, staff extra friendly and helpful! I'm grateful I happen to be close to this one and now have discovered it! Will be back again when I travel since it's close to the airport too! Remarkable!

Very bad experience! All area was rugged with carpet covered in mold and smelling. My child who allergies were triggered and reacted very drastically to the mold on the carpet, coughed and had red eyes throughout the stay. We had to request medical attention! Breakfast was good but the moldy environment was bad for my child’s allergies!!!!

Room was very smelly. Carpet was so dirty and there are signs and smell of someone vomited. Won’t recommend any one for this hotel to stay. It had disturbed us mentally and just want to forget night we stay there.

Man, this hotel just went from bad to worse. Check in the outside is nice but so deceiving. Walk down a long hallway to a run down elevator. Stains EVERYWHERE. First room smells so bad of mold. Got another room. This one smelled bad as well. Checked the room. There’s someone’s old food in the fridge! Then the power goes out for 2 hours. Finally came back on at 9pm. All I wanted was a shower. Seemed good but then the tub it has a hole in the bottom so my foot kept going into it. And finally the “complimentary breakfast.” Ew, fruit flies wet eggs. Do me a favor, don’t stay here. Oh and look at the pool it’s green and the umbrellas are completely broken.

I stay there on September 3 but left abruptly at 11 PM due to my uncomfortable stay I found bedbugs and it was infested. I spoke with the manager Jasmine. She was going to refund me my money. She said it would be refunded and credit but I paid cash. I know they’re doing renovations, but comfortable stay is first priority, I would recommend people but they have to clean house on the bugs but overall I’ll give it a 2⭐️

Room was nice and comfortable once inside. Only issue was carpets on the way were filthy and smelly. And could smell a tinge of weed in hallway. Breakfast was ok. And the shower water was impressively hot. 🔥

This place is not clean. I would not stay here. The price is good and the exterior looks good as well. We liked their shuttle service; their drivers were good and polite. However, the property is old. It stinks. I feared that I will take bed bugs home with me.

Warning!!! This hotel has bed bugs! We pulled the sheet of the bed we found bed bugs in the seam and on top was small black stains of fecal matter from the bugs. The hotel is totally disgusting. The smelll of the rooms is over powering of mold and mildew. The carpet had wet feeling. The hallway carpet looks like it's never been cleaned. We left after 40 mins.

It’s a shame to see how old and disgusting are the carpets. Stains everywhere. The elevator must be like 30 years old. Don’t be fooled by the exterior. That is the only nice thing you will find. Breakfast would be good except for the Waffle maker that did not cooked well and the scrambled eggs, tasted more artificial than real.

Pros: -airport shuttle -breakfast -free wifi -affordable -excellent service -excellent ac during 100+ degree weather -location is very convenient to airport -friendly staff -cameras in parking lot Cons: -rooms could use some updating (which I believe some floors are under renovation currently) -hottub is cemented in (so, no hot tub) -pool was green and we were unable to use it We needed a place to stay close to the airport with a shuttle. This place checked the boxes. We were disappointed the pool was not operational but other than that it was a place to sleep with a convenient location. The staff was wonderful and the shuttle driver helped explain and ease concerns about finding the right terminal.

Ericka was great she is the light skin African American front desk representative female! Her greeting was warm and genuine, I needed copies and snacks she helped me with both! As soon as I walked in she met me at the counter, Ericka is the reason why my review of this place is going to be great and truthful. I’m truly sorry that the place isn’t as wonderful as Ericka was to me. I encountered the night front desks worker I didn’t bother getting her name because she was straight rude and combative I asked one simply question and decided to not engage her anymore. She had on a headscarf and headphones which was not professional or as welcoming as Ericka. The night worker needs work even the shuttle drivers need a lesson on being professional The place is under construction so everything isn’t perfect however I think all things will be better in the future. Housekeeping does need work and it’s because of house keeping why I will not stay there again. The tub had brown spots and there was left over garbage behind the dresser. The coffee pot leaked. The carpeting everywhere had stains inside my room as pictured you can see red stains on the floor. A C is not available in the elevator nor in every hallway. Ice machine was broken on my floor and had to enter into the side that had construction to get ice.

Rooms were clean and comfortable and the front desk service and airport shuttle service were great. Only problem is this hotel needs an overhaul. The hallway carpeting is stained badly and shredded in places and the wallpaper in the hallway is peeling in many places. Not a good first impression, but luckily, our room seemed very clean.

It is not bad for an overnight stay...has a nice pool, and most importantly, its own shuttle service. They pick you up quickly and drop you as requested. Beds are fine, and there is even microwave to hear up food. The biggest drawback is that the carpeted floor is old and very stained and the bathroom could have been cleaner.

Positive: Staff was great location was convenient, Beds are clean and compatible, rates are good. NEGATIVE: Dirty floors , disgusting, walls dirty, the room stunk like cats and nasty litter boxes. This hotel needs a makeover badly. The only thing that was clean was the bed. So when the reviews say you get what you pay for, trust your instinct and pay $20-30 more up the street.

I would like a refund. Money is given in exchange for goods and services. We paid for a place to stay that would be clean and in good order. This place was NOT. My husband and I were visiting Houston to celebrate my sister's wedding. Upon entering the room, the room smelled like wet mildew. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling-oh and I'm pregnant so this was especially not good. We stayed for two nights and no one came in to make our beds or switch out our towels. Not seeing housekeeping come by made me curious how clean it had been upon entering. We visited the fitness center. Both treadmills were broken, the bike was broken, and the elliptical worked only partially. We went to wash hands in the downstairs restroom after the gym but there was no soap and my husband said half the stalls had waste on the seats. Sick!!!! The thing I was looking forward to was the breakfast. They replaced eggs, but never replaced any bagels or baked goods-those were first come first serve. The single waffle iron only worked on low and took forever to make so in courtesy of other guests and not taking too long, my waffle was half baked and inedible. My mom and aunt asked if they could come get ready at the hotel to which I promptly said "No-you do not want to come to our hotel. It is gross!!!" DO NOT book here. What a joke- we want a refund and will be telling the main company of La Quinta. There was no resolution. Everything is half broken-why would the staff care to go above and beyond? Of course I didn't tell them. Literally everything from the lobby walls, the guestroom, the communal bathroom, the fitness center, and the breakfast were half broken. It looked like nothing was an anomaly- it was normal and accepted to them.

Love this hotel. We are staying here for a few months and we really enjoy it. Wish we had a stove tho.

They take good care of my family. I don't stay there so can't tell you much. All good things my family tell me that they are the best when you need to stay and rest your head at night and have your furry friends with you with no problem.

It's a very rundown and dated hotel. The first room smelled like a wet dog and we had to move because of the horrible strong smell. They moved us to a second room and it still had a bit of a smell to it but not as bad or a strong, but the door had light showing through as it looked like Someone had pried the door open at 1 point and bent it inward. And for whatever reason the elevator to get to the 2nd floor and above was on the complete opposite side of the building from the main lobby, So you literally have to walk the entire 1st floor just to get to the 2nd floor. The reason I give it 2 stars instead of 1 star is because the hot breakfast was pretty good with Scrambled eggs sausage and a waffle maker. However they didn't start serving breakfast till 7 and we had a 7 o'clock shuttle and so we quickly choked down some food and left. Breakfast should start a little bit earlier even on a weekend.

Don't waste your money on a King Suite... big yes, but not worth it. Step on this dried, dead bug, in the middle of the living room bare foot. Had to have been there for weeks or long... make wonder when the last time the room was vacuumed. Smart TV will load Netflix, but could not stream anything. Phone in bedroom area didn't work... 1 bottle of complimentary Conditioner, no shampoo though... weird!?! Internet would not connect... breakfast was ehh, not impressed... will never stay again!! Pay the extra $50 and stay at the Hilton.
