Room was warm the entire stay. The air conditioner wouldn't cool. Asked for a fan both days we stayed there and never got one. Elevators worked really well and handled a large convention very well. Had the catalytic converter stolen, on my vehicle, Sunday morning , no one was able to get any information to assist the police.

I’ve had a really bad experience at this hotel. I arrived at 3:30 pm expecting to check-in but was informed that my room wasn’t ready and that I should “check back later”. I went back to the front desk again at 4 pm and was told it still wasn’t ready. This was very frustrating since I was traveling with two young kids. I had no choice but to leave and take my kids somewhere to pass time because the hotel staff couldn’t give me a time frame of when the room would be ready. I finally came back at 6 pm and was able to check- in. Upon entering the room, I immediately recognized that it wasn’t the room that I had booked since it only had one bed instead of two. After I informed the staff that the assigned room was incorrect, it was explained that their system showed that I only booked a one bed. However, I pulled up my confirmation email and it was very clear and confirmed that I had booked a room with two queen beds. How can this happen? What’s the point of booking a room that you want if “the system” will just show something else. It just doesn’t make any sense to me. There were no other similar rooms to the one that I had booked, so I had no choice but to stay in a room that I didn’t want and one of my kids had to sleep on the couch. Horrible! I will never stay here again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else.

This is by far the worse Marriott that I have stayed in. The air conditioner was broke on multiple floors. I was assigned a room on the eight floor initially. As soon as I opened the door I noticed how hot the room was. I checked the temperature and it showed 76 degrees. The A/C was set to 64. I immediatley advised the from desk and they moved me to another room on the fifth floor. It was just as bad or worse than the eighth floor room. It was registering 75 then 76 and the thermostat was set to 60. I went to the front desk and told them the problem and the agent sent an engineer up to my room. The engineer came in with an attitude and acted like it was my fault the A/C was not working. He said well it is 100 degrees outside. I said well the A/C should be working no matter what the temperature. I had to get ready for a function downstairs so I unpacked some of my belongings and got ready. I was sweating the entire time. I stopped by the front desk again one my way to my function and spoke to the manager again. She advised me that I could move again. She sent another agent to a new room to check the temperature. He came back and stated the room was very cold (lie). So, I quickly packed my belongings from my second room and moved to the third room. It was no better. Meanwhile, every time I went to the front desk, there was other customers complaining about the same thing I was complaining about. My new room had me awoke all night from the heat. It was unbearable. The next morning, I packed up and checked out. I was not able to participate in a full weekends activities due to the heat in the rooms. I also noticed that the lobby and first floor A/C worked very well. Management did absolutely nothing but give me and the other customers the run around. The hotel needs to be shut down. Its terrible.

This hotel is way beyond my expectations. Lobby smells clean n fresh. Concierge and front desk staff is very friendly and chill. Room is clean and quiet. I got good sleep/rest during this biz trip. Convenience location, a lot food spots close by and not far from the galleria mall and the memorial mall.

My family and I have been forced to live in a hotel for the past 2 months, due to us having such a fast sell on our house. We picked the Marriott Westchase because of it’s location to work and the kids school. And though we have downsized on “living” space, we have definitely made it up on the great amenities at the hotel (M Club!). In addition to the amenities, what really made our experience here the BEST though is the staff! Hats off to all of you. You have really made us feel right at home.

It was very nice the pool was huge and there was a very nice gym the food is average. Then it got really warm in the room and I was sweating because I had just taken a shower the pool was nice but just a little dirty. And my sister had seen 1 cicada in there so we had to get it out. The service was great and really nice it was really loud in the hallways but still very nice 5/5

October 2023: Stayed here for two nights and was very happy with my stay. I got an upgrade and stayed in a king bed suite on the sixth floor. Was very spacious 👍. I really appreciated the upgrade! King size bed was okay. A little lumpy mattress and comfort level is about a 6.5 to 7 out of 10. Pillows are about the same. Not bad but not necessarily the best. Not a major issue but just some feedback for management. Shower was good. Water pressure and temperature were good. Gym was pretty good for a hotel. Lots of weights and machines. There were so many that the gym is split into two rooms. Overall, very happy with my stay. I especially appreciated the upgrade room. Would stay again here the next time I am in Houston.

Stay here at least once a year. Usually a good place but not this time. When I tried to check in, was told the AC was not working on all the rooms. Furthermore, they were not sure which room had working AC. So glad they told me because I heard some rooms were 85F the night before. Was here for a conference. The bathroom in the conference area didn’t work. Tried to use the main lobby one. Those didn’t work either. Hopefully this is a one time incidence.

This hotel has a lot of work to do to improve customer service. The mobile app didn''t work and the chat agent was of no help whatsoever. The service at the hotel restaurant tonight was very slow, as was the food. The hotel room was exceptionally hot, and the AC did not work properly. I attempted to call the front desk using the in-room phone for 15 minutes and nobody answered the phone. I even called the main phone line of the hotel with no response there either, nor any response from the Marriott app chat agent. This is a major safety issue! The rooms are very old and outdated and musty. I would not recommend this property to any Marriott guest. This place needs a serious customer service and aesthetic makeover!

SAFETY HAZARD: three large domed vented floor vents hardly visible in hot tub adjacent to pool and fitness areas through the water (especially when the jets are running). Be careful getting into this hot tub. I do not recommend staying at this hotel when they have a convention going on for younger people. The layout of this hotel with a central open chamber carries noise all the way up to the top floor from the ground level. In my hotel room no. 525 were no extra blankets, non-functioning light bulb in headboard and a slow draining bathtub which caused me to stand in water while showering. The light fixture closest to the window would also regularly flicker. Lastly, the chais style sofa looked dirty to the point I didn’t feel comfortable sitting on it. There are also no beverage vending machines anywhere on property. If you don’t have drinks in your room and are out you might want to pick them up as the bar may have closed by the time you arrive.

Very nice property, well maintained, clean. The staff member during late night check in was very nice and professional as were all staff that we had interactions with. The only downside was the M Lounge not having any hours from noon Friday until Monday Morning. No need for breakfast those days, but it is a nice place to get away from your room, grab a good coffee and relax. For that I would say 4 Star rating…but because we were upgraded in our room, 5 Star.

Stay at the hotel for a conference. Overall it was good. The room I stay was spacious, the lobby was clean and the restaurant food was delicious. For me the only downside was the shower water was only warm to cold, was not able to get the temperature to hot.

The good, the bad, and the ugly... The good: spacious rooms and wonderfully comfortable beds. We slept as well as can be expected when one is jet lagged. Friendly and helpful staff who made the best out of a suboptimal situation. Good location with many restaurants in the area. The bad and ugly: The first room we were assigned to had a very loud AC vent. So we asked for a new room. That one had a loud AC vent as well, but we decided it was a feature rather than a problem. But then it turned out that the AC was not working well (set at 68 it delivered 75 at best), the phone was not functional, and the refrigerator was questionable. So we asked for another room. Staff went with me to check out a few. One had an AC set at 68 but delivered 71. The second had an AC set at 68 and delivered 68, which we took. Noteworthy is that the room we vacated was immediately cleaned. This gave the impression that they intended to turn right around and assign another guest to it, rather than trying to fix the problems first. This mostly solved the problem, except that in the morning it seemed like the hot water was not working. It was slightly warmer than cold at first and after a very long time got somewhat warmer. The second morning, it started cold by a little later in the morning it was acceptable. Also, the restrooms in the lobby periodically were nonfunctional. The conclusion is that this is an aging facility that Marriott needs to invest some money in to bring back up to their high standards. The wonderful staff deserves not to work in a hotel with so many problems.

The hotel itself is fine and staff is friendly, but the AC is set way too low and cannot be changed. My room was freezing (62 F) and no thermostat setting was able to change that. Front desk said they'd send someone, but no change and no follow-up. Meeting rooms were equally freezing. I do not recommend this place.

Everything was outstanding during my stay at the hotel except when check out. When a person gets reservations at the hotel for a certain price doesn't means when check out time you add extra charges for nothing. Then I asked her at the front desk, what's the extra fee is for she doesn't know but says it does that sometimes she said. That's 1 way to loose business by trying to get over on customers like that. So for future reference if it's 1 price with tax included don't add extra to the customers bill it just makes them feel different about the hotel stay.

The cost was somewhat pricey but it was a pretty lovely hotel. The ac does struggle to keep up. But this was during one of the fiercest heatwaves we had this summer so I will let it slide. Awesome lobby with plenty of places to relax. Mini restaurants and shops for your convenience. Close to some great restaurants! Pretty great views if you get a front windowed hotel room. Comfy rooms and great attentive room service. Fairly speedy wifi too, and the connection is very stable in all the rooms. I’m looking forward to coming back for next year’s conference!

Did a staycation for my family of four. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the large indoor/outdoor pool. The service counter employee was very friendly and kind. It was a quick check in. The room was clean and updated. Nice to have refrigerator. There is a shared microwave on floor 7. The only issue was the only ice machine working was on floor 7 but I understand it is a big hotel and they can save by having one central machine for ice use. However, I will definitely return this property.

Upscale hotel and holds true to Marriott standards. MClub breakfast available, restaurant etc. nice pool and fitness area. Staff is knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. As a titanium elite member for life they recognized and awarded my suite night upgrade. I would recommend and revisit if back in the area.

The hotel itself was ok, just too old, location is good, front desk very friendly, housekeeping, the worst ever, we stayed 4 nights, not only they never changed the sheets, but also they clearly did it fast, each day they forgot something, first day, they left the trash full in the bathroom, and no coffee and cups, second day, no toiletries , third day, just one towel, and they even left the empty toiletries on the counter top, every morning I could see the housekeeping talking on their phones, one day she entered our room while we were leaving and she was on her phone socializing!!!! We had 3 rooms, and every single room was missing either toiletries or towels or both, and trash was not emptied daily !!!!! I did complain to the front desk and they apologized, I hope they do something about their lazy housekeeping or they will loose their good hotel rating.

I’ve stayed at this hotel now for the second time and as a disabled veteran it is very accessible and the beds are very supportive for those with back injuries. I truly recommend this hotel to anyone who comes to Houston it is literally the best experience I think I could ever have. I have stayed at many hotels in my lifetime this one is supreme! From the wait staff at the bar to the front desk plenty of smiling faces. Truly an experience to die for!

Not a fan of this hotel. The hotel is not maintained and service is a reflection of my statement. Accommodations are ok as long as you are no straying over 1day. The hotel has one microwave for common use near the ice machine (definitely not family of 4 friendly). The restaurant options after 4 are not family friendly. No diversity culturally, with language, menu selection and ambiance. Overall not a hotel to stay more than once. My overall rating is just reflecting my experience

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel several times. While it is a beautiful, well maintained property with a great pool it is the amazing, accommodating staff that has us returning to this property. At check in James was professional, and kind to us as well as our service animal. He made sure that our stay was comfortable. Mo and Marcela were always there to greet us as we left and returned. They both took care of us and remembered us when we returned. Leticia at the restaurant was also very accommodating and sweet when we asked to be seated outside of the restaurant. I wish I could name everyone here as they have a wonderful, friendly staff that truly made our stay memorable. Other than that, we loved our room. It was nice and cool even with the Texas heat. The pool is amazing. It is large, both indoor and outdoor, has a kiddy pool outside and a hot tub inside. There are plenty of umbrellas and tables to escape the blazing sun.

Spending time here was good. The parking was fine, plenty of space and they have a security detail driving through the lot periodically, surveying activity. The lobby is an open design, containing a restaurant, Starbucks and sit down area. Several elevators ensure that you won't be waiting too long. Access to a pool and indoor facility. I like the proximity of the hotel to the highway and toll road.
