From the moment you step out of your room the daytime manager/owner keeps an eye on you like a hawk where they're from the cameras or as soon as you step off the elevator on the first floor he's right there and he'll follow you around everywhere you go. He loves to make up rules as he goes along such as going down for breakfast, he'll stand over you and tell you how many of the stale muffins you're allowed to have and that you're only allowed to eat them down there you cannot bring anything back up to your room. Then there's the issue with having guests over. My friend went shopping with a friend of hers, and as soon as they step foot in the hotel the manager greeted down by telling her friend she had to go that we weren't allowed to have anybody else in the room even though I was gone and hadn't been there two people checked in two people there at that time wouldn't allowed. You is always trying to come up with excuses or reasons to come into our room also. Then once we had enough and decided to check out he made up some more rules and decided he was not going to give us our deposit back because of this and because of that and because she had her friend come up after they went shopping. It was almost like a weekend at boarding school except without learning anything. Overall not a good experience would not recommend.

I am pretty upset about what happened. Checked into our room and it reeked of fish and the entire third floor was humid and musty. Requested a refund. Was denied. Was offered a new room. The manager for some reason had the desk clerk walk me to my room instead of just handing me the new key. I am a 27 year old female. He entered the room behind me. Let the door close. I went to turn on the ac and turned around to see him IN MY ROOM. I was visibly upset and felt unsafe. I asked him for the room key and for him to leave. He made a bit of a fuss saying I needed to get one from downstairs. I said no. Give me the room key and get out. There was ABSOLUTELY NO REASON for this man to have followed me INSIDE MY ROOM. I get the room key. Call my friend because I was shaken up. Went to leave the room and the man was WAITING RIGHT OUTSIDE my door. Why?!?!

The absolute worse experience I have ever had in a hotel! When I say roaches were crawling everywhere they were crawling everywhere! I went to the manger and asked for a refund. They flipped out on me and told me that I needed to deal with it that everywhere has bugs. They gave me a new room and then told me if I were to see another roach that I could then have my money back. Well went into my new room and immediately there was left over food from someone on the ground. Had the manager come in and pick it up and told him no wonder there is roaches crawling ever where these rooms are not cleaned!! So waited, and found what do you know! ANOTHER ROACH! So I went down with my picture evidence that I was told I had to have to get a refund and the manager was no where to be found. I left, went to the holiday inn and slept great in my clean rooms. I videoed our whole conversation and have them telling me to deal with the roaches they know they have a problem.

WARNING! WARNING! DO NOT STAY AT THIS MOTEL.Worst management and hospitality I've ever experienced. I checked into hotel with a reservation and confirmation from Pricelne. They did not have my check in information and would not try to help. Only after I did their work for them was I told "oh yes we have it. I was put in a room with no working a/c, made them aware and was told that nothing could be done about it and they did not care if I called corporate. It's so bad that I asked management for a nickel to replace my 5 pennies so I could get a soda out of machine and was told NO. I'm honestly in disbelief, as I've never heard of anything being so poor. FYI - it is the owners/top management that are great me and others this way.

The hotel is very low maintenance. I have stayed at two other super 8’s and they were nothing like this. The rooms carry a strong odor. Breakfast was not even breakfast literally water and cereal. The owners charge for every little thing. I would not recommend staying here unless its the last resort. The sink was randomly cutting on in the bathroom.

They don’t clean the public areas very often. The staff has a bad attitude towards guests. The rooms are ok but they have few maids that don’t really speak English. The owners are Indian and have thick hard to understand accents. They have ok prices and it's better if you have the rewards account. The breakfast is very basic. The elevator is out of service. The hallways smell like smoke especially the illegal kind. They do not have good customer service because they do not help customers with extra towels or any kind of other requests.

Third floor was dirty and smelly did not expect much from a smoking room anyway but not this .Even though I booked a non smoking room online once I arrived I was told I had to pay a deposit which I called prior to make sure there wasn’t one and was told I didn’t have to pay a deposit but when I got to the room it was a completely different story so I chose smoking but still asked to pay 15 extra but I got him to go down to 10 dollars. Room door color was different from all other rooms which was weird every thing in the room was nasty and dirty but I was so tired I decided to stay just to rest. Pictures attached

The rooms were ok. The staff service was horrible!!!! The Night Shift guy at the front desk was very weird. He acted as if he didn’t want to check me in unless I was alone. The lady the next morning was very rude! They also tried to rush me & my boyfriend out of the room way before it was even checkout time.

Every time me and my husband visit Houston we opt for staying here and we’ve never had issues or been discontent with anything there until today. Upon arrival, nobody was in the lobby office. We rang 3x for assistance and stood there for a good 10 minutes until we called the assistance phone number and the lady finally came. The elevator is out of service, I tried to change our room for one on the first floor due to me having ciática problems and she wasn't able to accommodate us. Therefore, we have to carry our luggage to the third floor using the stairway and use the same route when entering or leaving our room, not cool! I will be looking for other options on our next trip.

The rooms were extra clean. Smell fresh. The property is well maintained and great value for the price. Everything works well. AC is ice cold. Friendly staff.

The room was clean, but nothing worked. Tried to watch tv, didn’t work. Then tried to watch Netflix on my phone, internet did not work. Blow dryer didn’t work. I had a long layover between international flights and just needed a place to rest, it was fine for that purpose but I was charged the full $65 rate even for staying only 4 hours.

Don’t stay here. It was bad enough we came in about 4 am exhausted and wanted to just get some sleep before check out. The hotel stinks bad and my daughter kept making comments about it but then when we got to the room it was 80 degrees in there and the ac wasn’t working the staff got it working and then the best part we pull the sheets back and there are roaches!!!!!!!

Room overall was nice, Cept for the hole in the wall, and the lamps that we were afraid to touch for fear they would fall off the wall and then get charged for. Microwave had no turntable to reheat food properly. Shower had a slow drain. Service personnel had such a harsh accent we could barely understand them. I've stayed and the chain before, and had better rooms, we actually choose better chains when we pay the bill. Better pass on their attempted breakfast and go to Denny's. Americans need more than bread and cold cereal. And "free coffee" from a machine that's nasty. Had to ring buzzer repeatedly, then hold it down to get service at the desk.

I can't really comment on the motel itself because we weren't able to stay there. We made a reservation months in advance as a place to stay after coming back from a cruise. We wanted to spend a few extra days in Houston to see the city and visit some attractions. We were literally in our transportation on our way from the cruise terminal to the motel when we got a phone call from them informing us that they had to cancel our reservation (already paid for) because the people in the room were refusing to leave and they didn't want to kick them out. We explained that we had nowhere else to stay, had booked this months ago, and were on our way with two small children - they offered us a refund. We were forced to quickly search online from the car for somewhere to stay, lucky to get a reservation because the first hotel we called was booked with no rooms available. Absolutely awful experience!

First off I was greeted by the person at the desk with a frown. She had the personality of a rock. I checked in and afterwards I left the hotel to go to an event and when I returned my keycard wouldn’t work. Needless to say I had to go back down to the front desk to have that corrected. Got up the next day, went to lunch and came back only to have the same keycard issue. Now the room: 1. Dusty 2. Dirty 3. Spots on the sheet 4. Towels dirty 5. A/C half worked 6. Carpet has run’s 7. I’ve never seen the coffee maker in the restroom 🤦🏽‍♂️ 8. Had to hold the button of the elevator for it to move 9. Floor wasn’t vacuumed 10. Just overall horrible experience

When the reservation was made the 1st floor was requested for a reason. I have 8 herniated discs. I don't walk or stand for long periods because it hurts. I was forced to get a room on the 2nd floor. Then there's no carts to help get bags upstairs. Not to mention the cash deposit that Donna insisted upon. But none of this is listed online. She was not pleasant or welcoming. I hate that I'm here at all. It will not happen again. I would've preferred to be able to switch my reservation somewhere else but was told there's no refunds.

Elevator not working to begin with Towels still on the bathroom floor when we got there Stayed one night and had my father in laws truck stolen. Made a police report but the receptionist was very rude with the officer and no help. When asked if we could leave our bags as the officer made his investigation she was very hesitant and non cooperative Wouldn’t even provide camera footage to help DO NOT RECOMMEND Began to act very suspicious when the police arrived.

Rooms have an odor, the towels are dingy and stained. The bedspread that was on the bed had stains as well. They said owner is VERY RUDE and has a very bad body odor HE SMELLS REALLY BAD. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to a homeless person they deserve better!!!!

Stayed here in September and I see they have deleted my review. Bathroom in main lobby has a camera in it. Like I said before this place is a scam. Manager is scamming giving people different deposit amounts. They gave people rooms with other people still occupying. Tbh I wouldn’t be supposed if this hotel is involved with human trafficking, totally unsafe.

This hotel is disgusting. There were cockroaches in the bathroom and in the room with the ice machine. The a/c unit was broken and ran non-stop and there was no way to turn it off or change the temperature because the entire front panel was busted. There were no toiletries in the bathroom, not even soap or tissues. The hallway smelled like cigarettes and BO and I felt like I was in a Bukowski novel.

The room was clean but a bit outdated. We really appreciated the ADA room. It would have been nice if there was a shower chair for the bathroom. Overall, it was a nice place.

BEWARE! NEVER STAYING HERE AGAIN! Would put no stars if I could! Was charged an extra $35 dollars for another person. The television worked once, shut off, then never came back on. Front desk was no help at all, and could not fully communicate due to language barrier. No help in television repair. Holes in walls and door. The only good thing(thank God) is that the coffee maker actually worked.

Long story short. I found bugs in my bed. And went to go tell the front desk and he said "he could not refund no money." Because he could not see them. I took a video of the bugs and showed him. He still refused to do a refund.
