Free 30min parking in the garage right beside/on top. Service is great; very thoughtful people here. The drinks are ok, nothing great or special. Savory food portions are a bit small for the price: quality and flavor don't completely make up for the cost. I like that they have outdoor seating, though it's uncovered. They have lots of pastries, but you can only order them in-store; online orderers will also miss out on special/new drinks. It's good if you're looking for a quick bite nearby, but not really worth going out of your way for.

I was excited to try Slowpokes near Levy Park, but I was really disappointed. I did email the business but didn't get a response, so, here's my review. I ordered two coffees online. When I arrived 10 minutes later, they weren't ready - so I waited, no big deal. After another 10 minutes I realized that people had been walking in, placing orders, and leaving with their coffee, but I still hadn't received mine. I asked the barista if she had my online order, and she acknowledged. It's a busy shop, I was OK to wait... until 30 minutes had passed and I still didn't have my order. I asked to cancel it, and I was told that a "manager" had to approve that (who appeared to be sitting at a table across the room) and that it would be five to seven business days to receive a refund. When I finally did receive my order, the coffee leaked out of the cup almost immediately... The fact that "management" at the shop chose not to talk to me about my issue when they were made aware of it, and then didn't respond to my email, makes me feel like they just don't care. The ONLY reason I gave two stars is because the shop itself is really cool and the parking is very convenient. Guess I'll skip this one next time I'm in Houston!

One of my new favorite coffee shops in Houston! I got the Purple Rain Latte which is Ube & Vanilla flavored. It was so delicious! The Salmon Bagel and Chicken Pesto Panini were equally delicious! Everything was great from the service to music and decor. Also, it's right across from Levy Park so I could see all the doggos. Perfect for studying or just hanging out!

A decent coffee shop with a very good atmosphere. It offers both inside and outside dining, and a wide variety of coffee selections to choose from. Haven’t tried any of the food options, but I will say everything was pretty pricey overall. A nice spot to hangout in, but I think the best part is the atmosphere over the coffee selection.

The location was nice. The service was nice and all the employees were pleasant. They have indoor and outdoor seating which are spacious. This would be a nice place to hang out with friends or to get some work done. I’m only giving this place 3 stars because neither of us enjoyed our drinks. My matcha latte wasn’t the best and the orange cream sickle drinks my husband order was bland. We did order the hummus plate which was good but I mean a hummus plate really isn’t anything that requires much work. I would comeback for the atmosphere but definitely not the drinks I spent $30 total and regretted it after due to the drinks.

I recently visited a coffee ☕️ shop that had me buzzing with excitement. The atmosphere was so cozy, I felt like I was being hugged by a warm latte. The barista was as sweet as the caramel drizzle 🌧️ on my drink, and the coffee was so good it should be illegal. If you're looking for a spot to perk up your day, this place is a latte fun. Thank you 🙏🏻

Slowpokes is nice. It’s quiet with a good mix of food, drinks and coffee. The bar is well stocked. The wifi is steady. There is great indoor and outdoor seating and near Levy Park, if you want to grab your coffee and go on a walk, play with your kids, etc. I got a vanilla almond milk latte and a matcha oat milk latte and wasn’t blown away by either, but the customer service was quite solid and it was quick and easy on a day that I wanted to be outside with a warm beverage. I’ll give it another try and see if I like their signature drinks better. I love it’s placement next to the park though and having 30 min of free parking in the garage or free street parking. This is the perfect place though for a cute but casual quick coffee date or after work drink.

The decorations throughout the whole place make it very welcoming. The ambience inside is very calm and not overwhelming. They have plenty of sitting space inside and outside (for their traffic). Their coffee is really good, but this review is to feature those mimosa carafes and empanadas! The empanadas are warm and come with a nice sauce or pico, just delightful. Their mimosas are straight to the point.. a nice brut and some orange juice to get you where you want to be. Awesome study/hangout spot!

Extraordinary nitro cold brew; this month it’s on a Kenyan peaberry bean just recently roasted (dates shown on bag label wow) which, being specifically Kenyan & peaberry for sure makes this the bougiest nitro I’ve had yet. It’s sweeter, fruitier, richer & a bit more acidic, complex & easily tastes miles better than 95% of nitros I’ve ever had. It’s amazing how having a fresh, proper roast of a highly desirable bean, especially on black nitro (no ice or filler junks) where the pure nitrogen creaminess (akin to steamed milk like ole) further accentuates delicate undertones not normally noted in side to side comparisons can make a noticeable difference. They rotate their cold brew bean monthly and validate parking if u park in garage above (don’t park in front that’s for park only). Love the bartenders too, very knowledgeable and helpful. The ambiance is stunning and relaxing too. There are some amazing food options like this Brie & ham croissant i snapped. Dog friendly! Look forward to popping in here whenever nearby!

This is a 4.5/5 coffee shop to do work and has a great atmosphere/location but would NOT recommend any food off of their menu just because of the price. This avocado toast cost me $12 with tip. Absolutely not worth the money. You also have to pay to use their wifi and even then it’s only for two hours.

My husband and I come here often and love the place. It's become a usual spot for us and we highly recommend it. I like the salmon bagel but I usually get the ham and brie croissant, personal favorite. 👌

Now I didn't buy anything. I just took pics. It's a really nice shop and it's right next to Levy Park, which is honestly a houston gem. I would buy just out of convenience. The customer service is amazing and the vibes match the serene feeling of the park.

Good place cool atmosphere had to pay for parking though. Ordered a reeses and a slowpoke. Delicious sweet and just hit the spot. Photo is after we drank some. Filled to the top.

I had the most delicious experience with the slowpoke wrap! However unfortunately there was a piece of foil found in my food that I could’ve choked on if I was meticulous with my chewing. I had my order to go so I wasn’t able to to notify the location immediately, but I do hope they are more careful with the preparation of wraps in the future.

I loved the coffee and the atmosphere. Music level is great and because the day is nice they had the door open so it was right up my alley. Good place to work

They have a unique latte flavor consisting of peanut butter, honey, and cinnamon! Such a warm, homey, comforting taste. This location overlooks a nice park, with plenty of room for children to run and play while parents catch a drink in the shade. Lively staff who were helpful offering suggestions. Their process to receive free wifi is a bit complicated and lengthy the first time around, but thankfully the barista patiently explained how to connect to their wifi w a purchase (from the cafe).

Coffee shop right across from Levy Park. You have to buy something to use their WiFi but aside from that it’s a chill place. They have a variety of baked goods, flatbreads, sandwiches, & salads. Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free Inclusive. No wait on your orders. Limited alcohol selection (wine & bubbles). Parking alongside the street for 3 hours is free.

I'm a regular customer here, so clearly they're doing things right. Everyone is really friendly, the coffee tastes great and their food menu is good too. I'd recommend trying one of their flat breads or the breakfast biscuit. Also, the seasonal drinks are always amazing. Love this place!

First off, Emmanuel, Kevin, and Christian were absolutely incredible. You can’t not have a smile after interacting with them. Easily the best barista and staff I've met at any cafe in recent memory. The menu is extensive and their specialty lattes, (Reese's one pictured below) is fire. Didn't get a chance to try out the food. Layout is open and with high ceilings (with cute yarn decor), colorful and insanely good natural light. Get ready to look gorgeous on all your Zoom calls. Hooks underneath the high tables, they were thinking ahead. For wifi you'll need to purchase an item and keep your receipt (or ask front desk to reprint) to get the order number and price as login credentials.

Went on a study date with my husband, had a great time. It was quiet but lively. Workers seem very nice and on top of everything. I don’t drink coffee and I still enjoyed this space. Love the location also great for a family day out. Wifi only good for 2hours but that’s okay, oh and we were able to find free parking but you may have to pay.

Great place to sit down to get some work done. Inside of the coffee shop is cozy with woody interior and high chairs. Outside patio has sitting space to that looks out to a park. Greenery and lights makes it very pretty at night. They are dog friendly!

Very cute cafe!!! The coffee and food is very good and the service is amazing!! Everyone is super friendly, and they have a good sized patio right across from the park!! Only giving 4 stars because all the chairs are super uncomfortable especially if you're trying to study or get work done.

First I need to say this place should not get anything less than a 5 stars. I got the honey lavender latte (iced) it was AMAZING. The food will have you wanting to go buy more. Lovely outdoor seating and a cute little park to walk out front.
