    Really? This Starbucks is taking care of my health and wellness by closing the restrooms for guests. This Starbucks is providing third place services by removing all the chairs so patrons who would like to eat inside must eat standing? I appreciate you are supporting people on the wheelchair by having a table without chairs. You are across the Flixbus stop so plenty of people buy coffee and snacks before leaving Houston and you are not willing to provide even basic customer service? It is like a tale named: We open the Starbuck place but we are upset that people wanted to enjoy the coffee there. 😂

    Good service. But just so they don’t have to service bathrooms, they close them 30 mins earlier then closing time. I asked the lady to be kind enough to let me use it as i was waiting for my order. “ Sorry restrooms are closed “. For paying customer who really needs to utilize and management simply says no. Don’t bother if you think for your money you will get some deserving treatment. Go elsewhere for your beverages or different location.

    No seating, no restrooms, rude and negative staff, zero customer service, and they make terrible drinks! They also don’t have cup sleeves or drink stoppers, and often don’t even correctly make drink orders.

    This place is only buy and go. Such an inconvenience for people catching Flixi..they don't even let you use the bathroom. The restaurant across the street "NUA thai" is awesome with dine in services.

    I would like to start off by saying I’m a regular customer to this store. I live a few blocks from this Starbucks and working from home it’s the first stop I make every morning. There has been two occasion I have had an encounter with a young lady who’s name I don’t know. I would respectfully like to say she is African American and has red braids. The first time I had an encounter with her she was in the front taking order and she was so dry in her response, and you can tell she wasn’t happy to be there that day. It was just very uncomfortable. At that time I didn’t think much of it because I thought maybe she was just having a bad day. Which we all have those days. The second time I had an encounter with her was today she was making the drinks. She would look at customers with such a nasty attitude and she never had a happy look or smile on her face. She just throws off a negative energy. I was waiting for my drink for about 30min and I know in the mornings they are busy. So I kindly approached her to ask about my drink cause I been standing and everyone after me had gotten their drinks. So he said “I’m working on it” again with an attitude and just felt negative. She then proceeded to give out more drinks. When she finally gave me my drink it tasted like dirt and burnt taste never have had that taste before. I didn’t say anything of it because I’m not that customer. It’s just so unfortunate I spend so much time And money in this location to be so unsatisfied with the drink. It was undrinkable I had to throw away my venti. I don’t think she is a fan of me but I don’t understand why when I been nothing but nice. But as a manager I would like if another manager would read this and take corrective measures with her. It’s just disappointing waiting so long for your morning coffee and it taste so nasty. I hope she changes her negative energy and maybe makes the drinks with a little more effort. I really hate to leave this negative review but I believe this employee needs better training or a serious conversation asking if she is happy in her role. Hope you have a great weekend!

    Stay away....I bought something to eat and then was asked to leave because Starbucks doesnt let you eat in the lobby. There was not signs stating this. They have removed the tables and chairs from this location. Totally unacceptable. Why would I buy their food then be asked to take it outside?? They should make this a drive in only. And it was cold outside!!

    Warning... ⚠️⚠️⚠️ If you're waiting for a bus, don't come here. There are no tables or seats, nor are there any restrooms.  Just heartbreaking. 😞😞😞 Instead, eat and drink at Nua Thai and do your waiting there. The service is excellent. We were hoping to get some Starbucks after lunch at Nua Thai. This Starbucks has no regard for people or service.

    If you happen to go to this location when Eric is working on drinks, prepare to stand there for 15 minutes because he doesn’t like to announce the customer’s names once the drinks are finished. Instead, he will place them on the mat, out of the customers reach, and move on to his other orders. Leaving you to have to reach into the barista’s work space to see if your drink was finished or not. It’s happened 3 times in a row for me. Not a great experience.

    Horrible experience. Will not be back here. The guy at the register, Eric I believe his name was, took my order & he did not take it down correctly at all. Also told me “it’s means nothing” to him that my birthday was the day before when I asked if I could still get my birthday beverage. The girl who made my drinks made them wrong. When asked to re-make she was got an attitude showing me what was on the sticker (which was wrong bc register guy put it in wrong) she then began slipping things all around, blowing whip into cans making a mess all over the counter, all while huffing & puffing through the entire process. Keep in mind, it was the day after my birthday. I was in Texas for a birthday trip & I came here to get a little birthday treat. Worst Starbucks experience ever. As a former manger of Starbucks for over 4 years, this experience was unacceptable. Will not be back to this location. Do not recommend. If I could give zero stars, I would.

    This is not a normal Starbucks. They only offer to-go drinks and have no tables or chairs to sit at. They also got my drink wrong - made it hot instead of iced. I won't be back.

    I wish this is the first time they messed up my order, but it wasn't. This was just the first time I have been treated so poorly. It was about 8:20am on 10/1/21 when I entered and order my Strawberry funnel cake frappuccino, only to get a bunch of whipped ice with a drizzle of strawberry. When I returned I spoke with Meg (she has blond dreads and is the register person) . I showed her my drink and she responded with "oh I know what happened", and quickly walked away to a lady with long black hair in a pony tail and told her to remake the drink. When she got back I was trying to explain that the drink didn't even have coffee in it, but she wouldn't even let me talk, she kept talking over me and told me "I'm trying to explain to you that she is new and will make the drink over". Her rudeness took me back, I just stopped there, and went to hand her the original cup, like I always have in the past when they messed up my order, and she barks out and me "I CAN'T TAKE THAT BACK".....I was in shock and so embarrassed. I then said can you please throw this away and she claps her hands together and says again "I CAN'T TAKE THAT BACK". I then said can you not throw this away, and she barks back again "YOU CAN THROW IT AWAY, BUT I WON'T" and points to the front door trash can area. I have never been so shocked as to the poor behavior of a Starbucks employee. I then waited for them to remake my drink...which no one did...so I asked for a refund, which I did receive. First off I do not understand why they would have a barista on schedule making drinks who is NEW and does not know what they are doing, during one of the most busiest times of the day. If they are training or learning then put them on at a less busy time, so they can learn without messing up everyone's orders. Secondly Meg was awful, and like I said this isn't the first time my order was messed up at this location, this was just the first time I was so rudely dealt with. Meg shouldn't be dealing with costumers.

    Horrible customer service and no empathy. I went to this Starbucks to buy some coffee. As I was approaching the cashier I requested my order and I asked the cashier if I could use the restroom. She informed me that the restrooms were closed. I said please be kind. I really have to go. She said, I’m sorry but the restrooms are closed. You can go to the gas stations two blocks away. Disappointed I just said thank you and told her I wouldn’t need that coffee anymore. She said Ok and just moved on to the next customer. To that cashier, I really hope you never have to go really bad and someone denies you to use their facilities. To Starbucks, How are you going to have a full operational business serving coffee and food and not have restrooms available for your customers??? So disappointed!

    DENIED!!!!! I'm very disappointed with Starbucks and the local management that operate a store which is frequented by Houston's homeless population. I am going to assume a lot here, but it appears Starbucks closed the restroom in order to deny access to the homeless population that reside in Midtown. In doing so, it also denied access for Starbucks paying customers. So, how about this headline.... HOUSTON STARBUCKS DENIES HOMELESS ACCESS TO A BATHROOM. If you don't want the homeless in your store, just refuse them service at the front door. But you won't do that, because you would be discriminating against a specific group of individuals. Let us not forget Starbucks refused bathroom access to individuals of color. Open the restroom for all citizens regardless of their status. And yes, my coffee was good... UPDATE 09.05.21- A homeless individual just exited the Atascocita Starbucks. I am glad they have more compassion than the Midtown Starbucks.

    Smaller Starbucks. Parking is tight, no couches or places to lounge. Still great atmosphere, music, vibes, and selection for drinks and food though. Staff was super friendly. If you can find somewhere to park, great place to enjoy!

    We ordered a coffee, cappuccino and a cookie. The coffee and cookie tasted great, but the cappuccino had no coffee flavor. It just tasted like hot milk. They were gracious and offered to make another, but shouldn't every brew be the best brew? I still love Starbucks. The parking situation is not for the weak!!

    So a lot has changed on the inside of the building but it's better for the baristas overall. I will miss the wall of goodies but it's not the focus. The staff are the best part right next to the amazing drinks. Very friendly and helpful 👌 you guys rock!

    This one is a train wreck. Last time I went in, they filled my coffee cup so high it melted the rim so when I went to drink it, the top came off (ok I admit, I laughed a bit) pouring all over my car. They leave drinks sitting out of reach without calling out names and you’re left standing for 10 minutes until you finally ask if that’s yours. Is it that hard to call out the name printed on the label or even just leave them where they can at least be read?

    Not my favorite Starbucks due to the ‘re design’. It’s across from a commuter bus stop and has been redecorated twice. Now you can’t even pee inside. They might as well have a vending machine for the food because you can’t really talk to anyone making your food and you can’t sit down. Great food and drinks so 5 stars but I wish I could potty and sit down but I guess Covid safety? I thought we were past that some (2023 now) but that’s ok. Oh well. It’s basically take out but it’s awkward because it’s not a drive through.

    It says 530 am on the door but no one in sight. This is a just about every other day situation. Sad smmh. And it's 545 am lights on food rack can be seen but no employees.

    I guess I have to force a star in order to give this review. Been stopping there for years when i find myself in downtown Houston but this is now the most inhospitable coffee shop in the world. After the homeless took over with loitering and using restrooms this location removed all their seating and closed their public restrooms. Combine this with preoccupied staffing that hardly notices when someone actually enters to buy coffee, and you have a losing combination. Bad service and no welcoming environment. Don’t bother stopping here. This is the 2101 Smith location in Houston.

    This barista was extremely rude. She had blue hair braided into her braids. I asked for iced drink and they gave me hot. I politely asked for the correction and she looked at her co worker and rolled her eyes i believe before giving me the correct one. Won't be back if this is the service that is provided.

    The best Starbucks in town! The warmest of individuals, always in good company. The manager here is extremely knowledgeable! I've met her a couple times and she's wonderful. Her business is usually fresh and tidy, and the staff appears to enjoy their work. Smith and Gray, keep going. Starbucks, you're the best!!!

    Went in to try the new drink the pineapple passion fruit and got two free drinks there were two orders that were messed up they were going to throw my way and I asked if I could have them they said yes one of them was the pineapple passion fruit with mango dragon fruit and I think that one was the best one I think I'll get that one again

    employees asked my family and I leave in a very condescending tone, while lying about the store closing time. we stood outside of the store in the cold while they were still taking orders. Not to mention, they keep the restrooms closed even to paying customers, but let a police officer use the restroom who didn’t even buy anything or pay for a drink. I thought the restrooms were closed? Good to know starbucks consists of a bunch of liars.

    Good and clean location, friendly staff. This is the location I go every time I'm in the downtown area. Today we tried the Iced Chai Latte with Pumpkin Cream Foam and Dolce Cinnamon Syrup. It had a strong cinnamon flavor but it was good.

    Came on Sat @ 11:38am. The register line was a little slow. When waiting for our drink, we were talking and must have missed our name. My friend saw a drink sitting there and she asked about it. The girl, Nae, responded “I been called your name.” I felt this was the most inappropriate response. I wish there was better customer service.
