We went this morning and although the coffee was good and pastries were good, I would never go there again. They do not have a bathroom that is easily accessible, you have to go behind the counter to use it. It was bizarre. Nothing is labeled in the glass display so I had to guess what I was pointing at. They did not have stir sticks for the coffee. The lady that took my order did not smile once nor did she say thank you for coming or anything of the sort. Strange place. For a place to merit the ratings this place gets, I was not impressed. Basic manners, labeling your product, accessible bathroom and a steam cleaned sofa is not a lot to ask for. To be very frank I agree with the other comments, the lady appears to be hateful.

Very lovely and comfortable place to visit. My daughter and I enjoyed a hot Jade Green Tea and my daughter also tried their Bayou Blend coffee with real cream. We also got a lemon poppyseed muffin and a double chocolate muffin, which they warmed for us. It was so wonderful. We will definitely be back. If you enjoy small boutique coffee/tea places or just want to try something different, you won't be disappointed here. Love it.

Took the wife and kids here after our traditional mother's day hike. This is one of the coziest coffee shops I've been to in Houston. The staff and exceptionally friendly and helpful. They were also very knowledgeable about the coffee. There was a rotating hot breakfast available. The person running the store seemed to know every single person walking in to the place. She also took the time to chat with us and our kids, so we wont be a stranger next time we went it. To me this place IS the definition of a neighbourhood coffee shop. highly recommend

Hard to find. It's tucked in back and apparently that big COFFEE sign is no longer there. Inside is really nice, employees/owners friendly. I went in for an iced mocha and a muffin. The man talked me into an omelette. The cheese roll looked so good that I couldn't resist. He cooks the omelette right in front of you. I'd buy a dozen of those rolls and be happy. Now the bad. Prices are not listed so you get the surprise that the omelette is $16 and the mocha is not a mocha but an iced coffee for $8. Most expensive cup of coffee on the face of the earth. When she rang up $26, I cringed. No hint of the cost when ordering. Surprise surprise! Strike 2. They do not have ketchup for the eggs. I realize most down south don't put ketchup on eggs but all northern states do and most would not even eat an egg without ketchup. Luckily I had some ketchup packs leftover from fast food the night before. The omelette was very outstanding as was the service. The iced mocha was terrible. They need to list the prices.

During my recent visit, I entered the establishment and encountered a white lady who gave me a disapproving look, as if she’d never seen a Hispanic person before. When I asked for a menu, she had trouble understanding me, despite English not being my first language. After emphasizing the word “menu” and repeating myself, she responded with attitude, claiming she didn’t hear me. After a wait, she said, “I’ll get it for you in a second,” heading into a room. The male barista eventually handed me the menu. Later, when I requested sandwiches, she made it difficult, and asking for oat milk got a dismissive response, with her pointing to the board as if I should figure it out. Fed up, I finally asked if I did something wrong for her to treat me like that; she claimed it was just stress. She came to my table with the ordered sandwiches, apologizing for being rude. I accepted, mentioning my own work in customer service and how I’d never treat someone that way. However, her apology seemed insincere when she explained she was stressed and short-staffed as the owner. That kind of apology doesn’t cut it, and I won’t be returning to this place.

I always feel personally welcomed when visiting Crescent Moon Coffee Bar, and the coffee, sweets, and food are delicious. Aaron, behind the scenes, is great in the kitchen. Linda is hospitality queen, and delightfully service oriented. These things matter in a world too focused on devices. I go not only for the coffee and great food, but also for the companionship. It's quaint and cozy, totally refreshing from the highly crowded spots where so many flock for brunch. I love Crescent Moon and the staff. I am always refreshed.

The service was excellent. The person at the counter worked with us for options to try out some dishes and they were good recommendations.

I have been wanting to try this place for a year since I drive by it all the time. I had such high hopes but sadly was disappointed. Don't get me wrong, the coffee and food we purchased was good, but the atmosphere was not at all welcoming for families with kids. Our visit started out okay, but we quickly felt very uncomfortable and like we were putting them out just by being there. It felt a bit like an antique shop inside, but that was clearly what they were going for. There are family heirlooms on a cart by the door that my kids were looking at. The older woman told my boys, "Don't touch that!" The younger woman (who said she was the grand daughter of the other woman) was very sweet but seemed a bit on edge as she kept being corrected by the older woman. At one point while my mother and I and my two boys were sitting having our drinks/food, we heard the older women tell her to tell the kids to get their feet of the furniture. (My 9 year old sits on his one foot). It felt like being at a grumpy grandmother's house where you aren't able to touch anything. My kids are not poorly behaved, but they are 4 and 9 year old boys. I felt very unwelcome and will not be returning.

I had the turkey melt with pesto mayo today and it was fantastic! The pretzel bun was soft and held together the whole time. They've added some extra tables, so that is really appreciated. Delicious latte and raspberry tart too.

Beautiful shop with delicious coffee, 90s themed names, & the best quiche I've ever had. Our server was wonderful and very helpful and very kind. We cannot wait to go back.

Really awesome local cafe! Today I went on a walk and got their seasonal smashing pumpkin frappe, a lemon poppy muffin and zucchini quiche- all of which was delicious and too tier! The foods fresh and made with great ingredients... i definitely recommend checking out this place 😃

The food was good, Friendly atmosphere, nice little coffee spot with limited menu. Would of liked the prices listed next to the items you are looking at. Very small but cozy area.

TLDR: Dont recommend if you’re wanting coffee, especially an espresso drink. I really wanted to like this place, I love the old hole in the wall vibe with cute mugs and outdoor seating options, but when you order an espresso drink at a cafe, you expect it to have fresh espresso. Especially at a place where their storefront says “coffee” in giant letters. I ordered iced latte, which I have never seen a cafe get this wrong, and I see the guy pull out a pitcher of what looks like refrigerated brewed coffee or cold brew and proceeds to pour it over ice and then pour milk on it. If I wanted iced coffee or cold brew with milk, I’d say that. Not latte.. Latte is a single or double shot of espresso with steamed (or cold frothed) milk. Espresso has the bold flavor of coffee and rich texture from the crema but not as much caffeine as a brewed coffee. Longer the coffee grounds sit in water, higher the caffeine content. The guy was so nice, but I can’t imagine what I would have gotten had I ordered my usual cortado or doppio con pana, or even an iced americano. With that said, the coffee I got was mediocre. I drank a little and gave away the rest to my husband since I didn’t want all that caffeine. Nothing more than what you would get in your office coffee machine. The pastry, however, was good. I just wished I had my latte to enjoy it with. Also, please label your pastries (even a marker on your glass display would do) so that customers can easily make decisions and make the ordering faster (the next customer in line can look and decide before they get to the front). Bottom line, if you want a more reliable coffee and can drive a bit further, I’d say try Zunzun on telge. I will give Crescent Moon another try and edit accordingly, but looks like not many of their customers with good reviews have ordered an espresso drink, let alone coffee drink. Which does not give me much hope.

What wonderful little place! Super charming little coffee shop and café. I happened upon it today by accident and will definitely be going back. I had the rosemary ham and Havarti cheese sandwich with the triple berry pie, and they were both superb! I’m guessing the young man who took my order and prepared my food, as well as the lady who chatted with me in the dining room, were the proprietors. It was a serendipitous find, and I look forward to my next visit!

I also had a banana nut muffin. I love local businesses as they seem to take a lot more pride, joy, and care in every aspect. Great service. Fun menu. Very cozy.

I love this little cafe! Excellent coffee, fun unique atmosphere, and fabulous food. I'm prompted to leave a review this morning after experiencing their fresh omelette bar this morning. Every bite was fantastic, and the people are friendly and make me feel right at home in their little corner of Cypress.

Wish I could’ve gotten the dudes name who took our order but he was very kind to my girlfriend & I, which is something I always appreciate when I try new places out. We’re not from Houston, we were just passing through but decided to try this new coffee place out, it is a very cute, intimate space. All the pastries are home made, and above all, the drink I ordered (Purple Rain frappe) was DELICIOUS. I’m so glad we swung by.

Awesome local breakfast spot. First time checking it out. Right around the corner from the house and love the fact they purchase supplies locally. Will be back for sure!

I've been coming here since I was an amoeba! Great coffee, great atmosphere but no hot dogs unfortunately.... Linda, Aaron are awesome and take the time to make your drink and food exactly how you want This place is a gem! True neighborhood coffee shop I love this place

Such a cute coffee shop that caters to the locals, their businesses, displaying their art, having Sunday brunches and hosting book clubs. It feels like home. The drinks are so much more flavorful and delicious than… 🫢other places (looking at you Starbucks), and your money goes towards members of the community!
