Lots of artwork. Lots of gravel and uneven surfaces and no ramps. Not so great for accessibility. I saw some amazing outdoor 'graffiti art'. Beautiful murals. There were vendors of handmade products of various kinds: Jewelry, soaps, candles, and bath scents. Inside the various warehouses were sculptors, painters, and crafters. The hallways of the buildings were lined with art and artists also had individual rooms or 'galleries". There was natural light and lots of people looking. It was actually quite busy, even at 2pm when it was too hot to be outside perusing the crafts booths. Some breweries and bars are nearby. They have foodie-type dining. One could make a whole day of it, but I think it is better to see the work a bit at a time. There is so much variety. Looking at an artist's work might take some time as you study the work to see the meaning/purpose/beauty or lack thereof. The artists at the Silos are definitely worth more than one glance.

Watched "Friday Night Lights" at the drive-in at the Silos. Aside from the temperature being in the upper 90's at 11pm, it was a great place. I would suggest bringing all your own snacks and a cooler full of drinks, (alcohol included), a few pillows and sleeping bags for the back of the truck and get ready to enjoy yourself. Pros: Plenty of parking, portable restrooms on site, and every view is a "good" one. Cons: Occasionally the train rolls by and is a little loud. All-in-all, a good place to bring the whole family!

I have been to a few art shows here put on by the Art Machine and Jay and Barbara have always been so friendly and professional. I recently took some friends and they had a great experience too. What a great group of artists in thr Art Machine.

Love this area of Houston. It's a must visit to get a taste of the Art Scene in the H. Chat with the artist whenever. Or go during an event for more structured socializing with wine, cheese and other treats. Second Saturdays are cool even during Houston's summer months. I said taste earlier because there are other clusters around town as well. Cool DIY/underground ones as well. Enjoy Houston Art! Photos from Sawyer Yards Summer Series - The After Party

The Silos is a very artistic industrial place that's perfect for people looking for grammable spots to shoot at. At least that's what I use it for.

Great collection of studios, gallery space, and murals in a reclaimed industrial space.

Nice area on the up &coming. Although we originally went to attend a market that was not there, it was a beautiful area that in the future looks like a good time. The artist(s) work inside was amazing!

I think it’s a really cool venue for art installation, and I enjoy walking around in the silos seeing the maze of artwork. The venue sometimes upstages the work, but that’s not its fault.

Love the Silos! Best art gallery in Houston. Spacious areas, incredible artists, and walking distance from eateries. Always worth it.

Place was nice and chill. I like how they have the tune jukebox or whatever it's called and you can download the app and pay to play the music you want. The bartender was really nice and the bathroom was clean. If you are wearing heels stay inside because the outside part is gravel. I definitely recommend going on a cool night as I did and it was lovely.
