Great park, dog park and walking trails . Waited so long for the splash pad to open. It’s open…. Yay! It’s very nice and would be nicer if all the shooters and sprayers worked.

One of the nicest parks I've been to by far.. Great for the family, a picnic, a romantic walk around the trail, good on a hot summer day at the splash pad. It has a part for older kids and little toddlers and babies too. Nature surrounds the area, dog park, tennis court as well, and right by the water. It's very clean and bathrooms are there as well. I definitely recommend anyone who likes to go to the park to check this one out.

Really nice park in this area. I believe it is also next to the Armand Bayou Nature center too! The views were very nice, and had a lot to offer. You can take many nice photos here. There is also many things to do here such as a playground and tennis court. Water view is nice!

Wonderful place to walk, many areas to explore. Beautiful scenes. You may even see an alligator 😉 Also the park has a park for your fur babies ❤️ And they also have a place where you can take your kayak out!

Recently discovered this park. We’ve gone there twice to run and/or walk and have really enjoyed it. The sidewalks do have some disconnects but they are brief. One loop around is approximately 0.9 miles (this is if you run the outer perimeter including the small loop around the pond close to the front). The loop gives a full tour of the entire park (baseball fields, dog park, playground etc). People seem to be respectful with pet waste but we did encounter pet waste in a couple places along the loop. There is an Oasis Garden that looks very pretty from the sidewalk but we haven’t checked it out yet. Looks like people take a lot of photos there. We don’t have a pet but the pet areas seem very calm, clean and well maintained from the outside looking in. There are a lot of benches and picnic tables scattered all around the park. We’ve used two bathrooms. The one close to the Oasis Garden was absolutely disgusting. The one next to the pond in front was just cleaned when we used it and was very clean. We’d give it 4.5 stars if we could. Only major negative was the bathroom experience.

Love this park! Clean park, has a dog park as well as a play area for kids. Has a dock where you can go fishing and recently, they added a nice walk way along the park. It is a big park ! Overall, really enjoy coming here. Would highly recommend. Great spot for photography as well.

Beautiful park. Dog park, play ground, fishing pier and public restrooms all available. Wildlife is around so please be careful. We went kayaking and saw some 3-7 foot alligators. Beautiful place to indulge in the surrounding nature.

Beautiful park. Well maintained. Large playground with many options for children. Kayaking available. Duck pond sadly low due to the drought. Paved walking path. Ample parking with plenty of green space + picnic areas. Dog park does have grown raccoons in residence.

Beautiful park with incredible views of the lake. A few bits of litter kicking about though. Good place to take the family nonetheless.

My dog loves this park and Leah, she is an awesome person working there keeping up with everything that goes on there. I believe she deserves a raise with what messes and stuff left behind by inconsiderate people. The speed that people drive through there should be more unforced also. First time coming back for about 5 months, sad because Leah wasn't there but was a nice day being day before 🎃.

This park is beautiful! It's one way in and one way out but every now and then the "privileged elitists " comes through and wants to play a game of chicken. Either that or they can't read the directional signs. But park is family friendly, there's ball games there. Many people walk around with phones in their hands like they are catching something sometimes too.😜😊

Beautiful park with lots of wildlife and piers! There are also great walking trails, a garden area and plenty of beautiful gazebos to sit and admire the beauty of nature! There's a dog park, playground and even a splash pad for the kiddos to releve them from the heat! Lots of baseball fields as well. The piers and floating docks for fishing are never crowded either! I love the park and all that it had to offer for great free family fun!

This is one of the best parks for all the water views and the long piers to walk out into the waterways and watch the wildlife. We launch our kayaks from here regularly (there are miles of good trails here and a map at the launch point). Thanks, Harris County, for all your efforts in 2020-2021 to make it even better!

We loved the Zip line - although we wish the other one would have been working so the line for this one wouldn't have been so long. Other than that the park was nice and clean and my kids had a lot of fun!

Most beautiful park ever!! So big park the playground is so big and clean park!! We loved it. They say there are alligators there. We tried looking but didnt see any. We saw other animals. There is a beautiful garden there. They have a splash pad for the kids. Kinda small but better than nothing! Beautiful place to walk through.

Great park the river there connects to other rivers.Dog park is fun for your dog to connect with other dogs and you take your dog a shower 4 or 2 shower can't remember. The kid park is super cool one for big kids and one for tots they also have two zip lines one of them have a safe seat.Theres also a small pond and a little pavilion the ducks keep that as there area. The little pier to see the Gators is safe there a split way one has a light shade the other isn't.You can canoe and go kayaking and yes there is a splash pad but it closed probably open in the summer little fact the river goes down to other park Clear lake park which has good reviews.Lastly there a little garden which is pretty

The one that looks like a main entrance is exit only, the driving and parking lots are odd. The playgrounds were great for the kids, would be better with more shaded areas during he summer months. Girl Scouts troops had a fun time on canoes and shooting archery, however, a raccoon came out of the forest and interrupted the arts & crafts lesson. It quickly ran back into the forest due to the screaming kids.

No propane tanks allowed? Since charcoal is allowed, and since we know propane cooking to be safer, and since it's a wet year anyway, then we know this rule is not about safety. It looks suspiciously like a rule that is intended by people who make the rules, to not share the commons with a disenfranchised people. No tail gaters? No leave-no-trace meals? Could someone please explain who we're trying to keep out of the park?

This is a nice, pleasant park. Surrounded by nature it makes you forget you are so near a bustling mega city. So serene.

Awesome family vibe with the playground and picnic area...the dog park is off the chain (pun intended) and they have some of the cleanest restrooms for a park!
