Saturday March 11th 3pm This is a hidden gem!!! For an adult and child they charged $30.. feel however you must about that price point. For the amount of attractions that are inside I think parking is minimal but maybe this isn't a huge attraction venue. There are tons of things for students and children of all ages to participate in. The variety was very impressive. I will definitely be back!

We went on a Friday, it was Perfect, not too busy, kids got a chance to experience everything that they could. Very well maintained and clean! There’s a sanitizing station on almost every wall! A lil expensive but worth it since it’s all well maintained! Restrooms were very clean also. Have some snacks or water for the kids in your vehicle, there are water fountains (if I recall) but no restaurants or snack bar’s inside or close by (like next door)

Fabulous place to spend hours in! My only advice is to bring coffee or have some before. They do have drinks and snacks for purchase, but no coffee for the adults. We came with friends and our boys jumped around and absolutely loved the vet clinic, cars, and mini-HEB play grocery store!

We checked it out because we bought a membership for the downtown location and saw this was part of it. We enjoyed our time here. It’s smaller than the downtown location but I liked that there were less people and the employees have done an excellent job keeping everything clean and sanitized.

The Fort Bend Children's Discovery Center is an exceptional place for young minds to thrive and explore. Here are some details on why it's such a wonderful destination: **Educational Paradise:** This center is designed with learning and exploration in mind. It provides a wide range of interactive exhibits and activities that are not only engaging but also educational. Kids can delve into various subjects, from science to art to history, all while having fun. **Hands-On Experience:** What sets this place apart is the hands-on experience it offers. Children can touch, play, experiment, and discover, making learning a truly immersive adventure. This interactive approach helps kids retain knowledge and fosters a love for learning. **Friendly and Caring Staff:** The staff at the Fort Bend Children's Discovery Center are remarkable. They are not just knowledgeable but also incredibly kind and amiable. They go the extra mile to ensure that every child and family feels welcome and supported during their visit.

Great first time back since the pandemic! We were sad to find out the Tot Spot was closed until further notice. All four kids had a good time running around exploring.

My three and six year old enjoyed playing here. There is a lot of hands on things to do and it is way closer then the Houston museum for me and feel like this museum is just as good as Houston just a bit smaller. Masks are required for children and optional if you have been vaccinated for adults (June 2021 visit). It is very clean and there are employees that are constantly cleaning items that the kids have touched.

This is a great place to take the kids. They have different "jobs" they can do, experiments they can try and learn how some things work. My 6 year old loved it!!

Love it here! I have a very busy 19 month old and this is exactly what we needed!! I decided to become a member the 1st time we came and come 1-2x a week. Totally worth it. Place is very clean, love that employees are always cleaning. So much entertainment, we both have fun in a clean and educational environment!

If you've got really young kids, they'll find this enjoyable...as an adult, however, just hang in there and role-play like you mean it. All in all, it's a fun place for kids. The staff weren't very engaging, which wasn't great, but the lady in the science section was exceptional and took the time to do fun exercises with the kids.

It’s a beautiful place and so kid friendly/oriented. The staff is great and the areas are always clean. This was so much fun. We went when there was an event for Wizards show.

We visited the museum on December 30th. The view of the museum by the big sugar silos makes your arrival magical. Once inside, keep in mind that this place is for kids entertainment, not for filing your expectations as an adult. My kids spent a lot of time in the immature room taking pictures in front of the mirrors and trying the challenges. The small city was nice. I sat down for about 25 min and saw all the kids interacting and playing with each other, even though they didn't know each other. Small but entertaining, simple but enough. We'll return soon.

Amazing place to take your kid for a nice day out. Great location next to the old Sugar silos. The “exhibits” are similar to the children’s museum in Houston, but without the sketchy big city vibes and collateral filth that comes along with pretty much anything located in Harris County. It is simple, small and very entertaining for my 3 year old. I was rather impressed with how clean the restrooms are. All around awesome place and not overly crowded. Only complaint is there is no court food here, but there are a lot of food options in the area that make up for it.

An interactive experience the kids loved. From shopping in HEB to serving food in the cafe to make paper airplanes and building catapults, there is so much to do. We went early and it was still quite busy.

This museum is a smaller version of the Children’s museum in downtown Houston. BUT, don’t the let word smaller fool you. This museum is an excellent place to learn and explore. It’ll keep your kiddos busy for hours! With lower crowds during the weekdays (and weekends)— it’s an excellent stop and worth a minor commute.

We loved it!! There is so much for the kiddos to do, all interactive/hands on. Even my 14 year old and her friend were entertained! The Kidtropolis (a city for kids, run by kids) area was awesome. There is a bank, school, art center, HEB, city center, and much more. There are tons of stations that help kids explore all kinds of careers. The other exhibits were great as well. Definitely recommend!!

First time visit. It’s a cute miniature version of downtown one. I do like that is more empty and the kidtropolis is circular. Meaning a parent can sit in the middle and keep track of their kid running around. The staff is friendly and kids can easily spend 2-3 hours discovering and playing.

Such a great place to visit! Went with young/toddler girls and a couple of their friends. I love how interactive the exhibits are. We stayed for 2+ hours and I feel like there is plenty more to explore. Another bonus is each exhibit has one clearly defined entrance and exit which makes keeping an eye on your children so much easier! I will say the ticket process can be a bit slow if you buy at the location. We purchased our tickets ahead and it was much faster than those ahead of us in line. We plan to be back and to get a membership!

Such a cool children's museum! Rarely crowded! Very fun. Highly recommended if you want a less crowded place compared to the children's museum closer to downtown.

We are members which is a great way to enjoy this museum- we typically go on a later afternoon when the museum is not too busy and bring a friend (membership offers up to four to enter and also discounts additional tickets). Our 5 year old enjoys all the museum has to offer- history, science and play. She especially enjoys the Kidtropolis exhibit. With our baby, she typically stays in the stroller but on the occasions where it is just me and the baby, we invite another baby friend and go to the tot room. I was impressed with how clean it is kept- surface are constantly being cleaned and toys and books are rotated every few minutes for cleaning. Keep in mind that if you have other children, the tot room is strictly up to a certain age and the older children are not allowed to enter. There is a nice bathroom with changing table and the facility is stroller accessible

My favorite place to take my daughter! We love the Tot Spot! It’s perfect for littles and it is SO CLEAN! I love that they give you a bag to put dirty toys in. They are also changing out the toys in the room all the time to sanitize and clean. The membership is definitely worth it if you plan on visiting often!

This place was so great! I went with my 3 year old and 18 month old. The tots area was enough for both of them but my elder enjoyed the whole museum! Perfect for the Texas heat. We could've spent all day there. My only regret is not getting there sooner because parking seems like an issue if you come after 11. I'd probably get a membership for next time I am in town

We decided to go since my son was given a voucher for up to 6 people. We went a little bit after they opened and it was great. We spent 2 hours and my children did not want to leave!! It is fairly small, but still has a lot of activities to do! My husband and I also enjoyed it and enjoyed all of the activities!

Small and so enjoyable. Set in "Kidtropolis" where you can work/play in a diner, an HEB, a bank, journalism, auto repair, EMT, police, investigation, and vet. Children get ATM cards to deposit and withdraw money and paychecks. There is a sound bench, a science room "How does it work?", a room with mgic tricks, and stations for making a Juneteenth flag and a Black Panther mask. The front room is currently dedicated to Gullah culture.

There are so many exhibits and fun things for children to do. My granddaughter and I spent 3 hours there and are ready to go back in the next week or two.

Percect place to spend a few hours and play! The Kidtropolis was wonderful for my kid (8 yrs) and he really enjoyed every bit of it! Thank you for the visit!

We had such a blast!!! My 5.5 year old and 4 year old really enjoyed every inch of this place! The hands-on aspect is my favorite part. Also, seeing employees constantly cleaning and sanitizing behind the kids and tons of hand sanitizer available throughout it felt safe. Kidtropolis is definitely the best part. The little HEB is adorable!!! And looks exactly like a big deal HEB. Loved it! Can’t wait to go back
