We walked Pundt Park from The Dennis Johnston Park via the Spring Creek Greenway. Pundt Park has a good selection of playground equipment, that's covered from the sun, for kids and young teenagers. There's also a huge dog park on-site. Spring Creek is just a few minutes away by foot. The is a good place to let the kids have fun or get some exercise by walking, jogging, or biking the surrounding trails.

Today I needed to relieve stress and my sister suggested I find a park and go for a walk. It was very helpful and refreshing. The views and peace was on point and you see the staff on patrol throughout the trails. I will visit again.

It is not a park. It is a forest. Great nature, lovely people, clear trails and wonderful experience! Definitely must-go!

Very nice trail for biking and running. Good paving that goes for miles, sufficient shade from trees during summer/noon, isolated from traffic sounds. The Dog park is large with 2 separate areas, usually crowded weekend mornings and slightly empty in the afternoon

Went for the dog park ended up in the creek! The large dog park is well maintained and has 2 small water areas inside and a wash area outside of the fence. A short walk takes you to a beautiful little beach on the creek. Ankle to knee deep water when I went. (Didn't see any snakes thankfully) very peaceful! The bathrooms at the parking lot were also surprisingly well maintained!

Hands down one of my absolute favorite parks in Houston! I love the wooded trails! I love that the park is pretty big, and very well kept. Itโ€™s a very peaceful place to go on walks / bike ride.

The park is beautiful and well maintained. Covered play area and picnic tables with BBQ pits for cooking. The trails are amazing and plenty to choose from. There is also a nice dog park for the furr babies.

Was quiet, peaceful compared to what Iโ€™m used to. Found some large mouth bass action. Even the loud kids who occasionally walked by quieted down when they saw I was fishing. Only threw 1 rock for a tik- tok video! Iโ€™m joking, sort ofโ€ฆ kid definitely threw a rock in where I was fishing haha. Anyways, whatโ€™s new? Was a beautiful day and an awesome place to enjoy it! Some minimal patience with the occasional passerby and youโ€™re back in nature in a beautiful place. Highly recommend, even if youre just driving through.

Quiet spot for a peaceful walk among the trees. Youโ€™ll see squirrels ๐Ÿฟ๏ธ running up some of them if youโ€™re lucky. ๐Ÿ˜€ Walk along the river is lovely.

This is a great place to park to use the spring creek hike/bike path. Nice dog park too

Beautiful place this time of year to ride as an equestrian. Trails are well groomed and there are a couple of natural water holes if your horse chooses to try and drink. The rule parking is easy to access and there is a mounting block available for those who are not wanting to ground mount their steeds.

I love this park. Itโ€™s got a great trail, dog park and several ponds. If you have kids or toddlers, thereโ€™s a playground for each one.

Love this park. Nice bike and walking trails!!! Also has a dog park and a children's play area. People also bring their horses because there are trails for riding also. Very clean and the people that you pass are always friendly.

Family friendly park with playground, picnic area and RV parking. Itโ€™s near a doggie park. Sunday afternoon was rather busy and crowded. This is also a stop or entrance to Spring Creek Greenway. Beware of driving cars & horses on the road to Deer Trail. The trail on Oxbo along spring creek is sandy, with some muddy areas but worth the beautiful views along the Creek.

So I go here often! I enjoy this park so much. The trees mess with my allergies but I donโ€™t care. The long walks, the walk ways that are here are amazing. The dog parks are very cool. They have one for small and large dogs. In the very back of this park there is a man made beach. I donโ€™t know who built it but please be careful. It seems safe but I donโ€™t get in the water. I see lots of families here enjoying the beach so I guess itโ€™s good. There is also a equestrian lot for horses so if you want to ride your horse for a little bit you can do that here also. This park has so much beauty around, you could lose your imagination here. Please visit and keep it clean.

A not so hidden gem, as I just recently found it after living in the area for 20+ years, that offers a lot to do. They have a nice sized dog park, and shaded playground, and miles and miles of trails through the woods and alongside the creek. I skate it with friends and it still hasnโ€™t gotten old. Also keep an eye out for snakes!

Amazing, relaxing oasis to retreat to for some time with nature!! It was a beautiful surprise. The sand was nice, young kids had a great time, and so did adults! Next time we will make a day of it! Beautiful photo shoot location!

This place is cyclists, rollerblading, and outdoor enthusiasts utopia. I didn't know that such a place existed in Houston. I runs from 45 to 59 near main event and I think they are extending it to Tomball. You will get lost there but in a good way; plenty wildlife and nature going on around you, deer running across your path etc. It's just an amazing park and trail.

Seems like a good family friendly park, big parking lot, lots of playground equipment, slides, mini rock climbing, and it's covered if raining. Also, a nice restroom, there are several exercises, stretching areas around. Of course, with me it's the middle section of my bike route, so I normally am passing through on my bike.

Love this park. Great place for my 2 year old to play, my dog to run at the dog park across the street and go for a nice walk on the paved trail

Great park- clean, well paved, great for cycling. Best of all, it has a lot of tree cover so you can avoid a lot of the Texas heat.

Great park for shady nature walks. Walk along the Spring Creeks sandy dunes or take the trails through the wooded areas. There is a nice large playground, and a dog park. Clean restrooms!

Beautiful park for a photoshoot The foliage is very pretty and the water is a nice touch. The sand is also beautiful to photograph.

Great park to visit. There is a fenced-in dog park for your fur babies, a small park and swings for your normal babies, fishing ponds, miles of hiking paths, as well as a 10 mile or more paved bike path. Sandy beach areas on Spring Creek are a nice pace to hang out with the family. Hidden gem close to the house, we go here all the time.

Lovely shaded and uncrowded trails that make it tolerable during the Texas Heat, but also nice to run/ walk/ cycle through. I haven't had the chance to follow through the whole trail; but the parts I've seen as lovely. Must visit place for peace and serenity and catching those endorphins.

Very nice park! We took our bikes to ride on the path and had so much fun! My kids were so "tired" that they couldn't go very far. Ha ha ha. My wife and I loved it though and we plan on visiting again soon!

Love it here! Caretakers do an excellent job keeping the park looking nice. Dog parks are great! People are so friendly. Trails are clear and so peaceful. Good ponds for fishing.

One of the best dog parks and playgrounds in spring. Sometimes there are dogs that arenโ€™t friendly so just keep an eye on them. There are restrooms and water fountains near parking lot. Lots of trails if you donโ€™t want to be near other dogs. The trails are great for hiking and biking just no dirt bikes

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Love the 1 mile long 9 hole disc golf course here. Easy enough for beginners and gives the more experienced players a nice short course to hone their skills.
