I love the vibe at this park, great sights and you can tell that the city is really trying to add upgrades to the park. I just really wish that they would open up the swimming pool to the community. City Bikes are available here and Bike tool stands are also here for the community to use. You can get some good running here with new freshly paved trails.

Nice place to run and stroll. Some paths need to be repaved. Pretty downtown skyline view from the suspension bridge.

Beautiful, porta potty available. No AC restroom. park has a pool, community center, baseball, football, soccer fields and paved walking, running trails. I went on Sunday. A gentleman also sell chips and drinks. It is a strong Hispanic community.

My dad and I started coming here to walk after a dead body was found at our other walking spot (the bayou by the Houston Botanic Garden). This place is so much nicer. Trails are well maintained and there's lots of little wildlife. There are tons of jumping fish, and you can watch the pelicans come dunking down to grab them. Lots of chubby squirrels. Most importantly, no dead bodies. A++

Beautiful big park. Playground and swings for the little ones. Community Swimming pool. A ton of baseball fields and a soccer field. Plus there's a bridge going over the river.

My daughter and I did a little walking there today. We walked close to the side with water. There were pelicans sitting on the power lines, a turtle basking in the water and some squirrels chasing each other. We even walked on the bridge. Now there is an area for the kids to swing/slide, baseball area, a gazebo and a lot of walking space.

Cute kinda crowded after sun goes down. But nice sun set from the bridge. This park is great for walking and runs but if you want to let you kids run or sit in the grass on a blanket and have a moment with someone forget it. Dog walkers let their dogs use the park as personal toilets and don't Clean up after up. Thanks for ruining the park guys. Fine job.

We love Mason park! It's safe, clean, and large enough to get a substantial ride or walk in. We used to live by Memorial Park and it was always so so crowded, but Mason Park is a little bit of a hidden gem, so no crowds!

Love this park and they're partnering up with the YMCA. It's a great place to walk, run or bike. I've lived in the East End all my life and I'm so glad with the upgrades in the past decade.

The park is beautifully maintained. You have 3 small trails to choose from with the biggest being a good mile to mile and a half. It has tables and great shaded areas for picnics and great scenery for pictures. Its great for the little ones and a great way to enjoy nature with a baby on a stroller or carry-on. If you play sports, there is a soccer, baseball, basketball court (indoors) and I think a tennis court, but I am not sure since it was recently renovated. Great park to spend time outdoors

Such a nice way to escape city life! It’s so clean and beautiful, I brought my Hamic and swung for about an hour before picking my son up from school and I felt so relaxed and so at ease. I saw that there is a pool and there is also an office for the YMCA but I did not check that out. I don’t know how big this park is but I feel like it’s much bigger than a lot of the parks in this area. Will be returning soon

This park holds a special place in my heart. My parents met here in the 70's and have been married for more than 40 years. I went into labor with my first born while walking with my husband. We've made a lot of happy memories here.

Great beauiful large park. Its a very nice park and direct access to Brays Bayou Greenway trail. The only issue resides by the bridge, youll have teenagers smoking some weed under there.

My wife and I come here to Run bike and longboard riding. Good place, has water fountains (although 1 is out) kids playground, and public pool (not open during the pandemic) the bridge across the bayou is only like 2 years old. It's nice. Although running is better on fine garvel vs concrete, this place is still no1 in this area

There is beautiful paved walking trail . On boths sides of the bridge . Such a huge beautiful bridge that overlooks a beautiful waterway . Definitely a place for a walk with your doggies or kids . I definitely recommend this quiet beautiful place. You can rent a bike too . I was parked by the pool .

This is a wonderful place. The beautiful pedestrian bridge allows you to walk over to the retention ponds that are great havens for birds and native plants.

this park is soooo big, you literally have space for anything! people walk, people run, people play soccer. it’s a very long trail to walk and it’s gorgeous. very clean and well kept!

It’s a great park right off the trail. The new bridge is nice, but it seems redundant with the new 75th street bridge. In fact, the pedestrian bridge really doesn’t go anywhere or add any utility. Oh well. It looks nice. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If only it had a dog park area, and tennis courts. My German shepherd and I loved this place. Never any fear. The best part people were not paranoid with masks. RIP Obie Juan Canoby best dog. Now my husky and I will go in our bike.

Its a nice park I take my kid there a lot but the only thing I always notice is the grass is not cut like it used to be. The grass grows tall and when they do end up cutting the grass they leave the grass there. Other then the lawn care the trails and bridge is nice.

Great park to get your daily exercise, peaceful and great bayou view. Still having construction in the area but not enough to keep you away.

Nice park to go for a jog. Only thing that would make it stand out is if they added more lighting near the Bayou area cause of the trail that goes from the workout section towards the overpass for vehicle. That section is dark.
