Bottom
line:
you
could
have
a
better
experience
spending
$30/person
elsewhere.
Very
disappointing
experience
at
the
underground-bunker-themed
escape
room
yesterday.
My
family
and
I
have
done
10+
escape
rooms
together,
and
we'd
rank
PanIQ
last
on
the
list.
A
few
high-level
reasons
why
(no
spoilers):
1.
Game
master
was
pushy
&
rude
2.
Game
master
was
not
attentive
and
disinterested
(gave
vague
clues
at
the
wrong
time,
unenthusiastic
when
explaining
the
storyline)
3.
Room
had
bottlenecks
that
prevented
multiple
people
to
work
at
the
same
time
1.
Game
master
was
pushy
&
rude
We
arrived
at
2:59pm
on
8/28
for
the
room.
Wish
we
could've
arrived
a
bit
earlier
for
our
game
master
to
go
over
the
rules
as
usual.
Unfortunately
there
were
unexpected
heavy
rains
and
we
were
coming
from
40+
minutes
away
just
to
play
this
room,
so
we
arrived
just
in
time
instead
of
2:45pm.
Acknowledge
that
it's
best
practice
to
arrive
15
minutes
early,
but
was
surprised
at
the
lack
of
leniency.
Our
game
master
was
pushy
and
impatient
about
getting
started
immediately.
We
were
denied
to
use
the
restroom
unless
we
were
okay
with
losing
time
on
our
room.
There
was
no
empathy
that
it
was
storming
outside
or
any
leeway
in
us
getting
settled...
even
a
minute
or
two
would've
helped
our
experience
much
better.
Wasn't
a
great
start
to
what
was
supposed
to
be
a
fun
Saturday
afternoon,
especially
with
the
aggressive
tone
in
which
she
spoke
in.
Arriving
a
few
minutes
just
before
the
scheduled
time
was
never
a
problem
in
past/other
panic
rooms.
2.
Game
master
gave
vague
clues
at
the
wrong
time
When
asking
for
clues,
it
didn't
seem
like
our
game
master
was
paying
attention.
For
instance,
there
was
a
point
where
she
gave
a
clue
for
a
future
puzzle,
but
we
hadn't
gotten
to
that
step
yet
because
there
was
a
lock
before
the
puzzle
that
was
mentioned.
In
addition,
there
were
clues
that
were
vague
and
somewhat
condescending,
such
as
"it's
not
that
hard,
don't
overthink
it".
3.
Room
had
bottlenecks
that
prevented
multiple
people
to
work
at
the
same
time
This
room
had
a
a
few
puzzles
that
were
frustrating
to
get
through
and
were
blockers
to
move
on.
For
example,
there
was
one
puzzle
where
we
knew
what
needed
to
be
done,
but
simply
couldn't
execute
it
because
there
was
too
much
room
for
both
human
and
mechanical
error.
We
felt
helpless
as
there
wasn't
much
else
to
do
until
we
got
past
that
puzzle.
---
We've
done
the
Wild
West
room
in
Dallas
and
had
a
great
time.
Game
masters
were
engaging
and
awesome
as
they
usually
are
and
the
puzzles
and
environment
were
excellent.
Disappointed
that
we
had
such
a
different
experience
in
the
Houston
room.
With
so
many
other
escape
rooms
in
the
area,
I'd
strongly
suggest
checking
out
somewhere
else.
