A must see if visiting Houston. Large exhibits with a lot to see. I wish we would have visited during the week because it was very busy and there was a lot of children running around. The food court was healthy. I really enjoyed my visit but missed a lot because of the crowd.

A lot of great stuff to see and if you are a space nerd, it's a must see. But your ticket online to get the best price.

Part of the Space Center admission fee so there's no additional cost to walk around the plane and shuttle. The plane had A/C which was nice on a hot day. The shuttle doesn't have much to it, but still an experience to have.

It's as exciting a place as you make it. Seeing the space shuttles and learning details did it for me. It doesn't hurt that my cousin works for NASA so she filled in a lot of gaps for me.

Amazing experience for the family and I. There is so much to see and do. Be mindful to reserve the Tram early, because time slots go fast. If you're looking for something fun to do with family or a group I suggest the Space Center.

Space Shuttle Independence in a great exhibit to visit in the Johnson Space Center. You can witness and learn about how a space shuttle would operate and functions. You can also witness the flight control room and take a selfie or two. Be prepared to climb stairs (elevator was not working when I visit), but its worth climbing it.

Cool place. I expected it to be a little bigger and to be able to actually see the Saturn 5 without going on a specialised extra cost tour that was booked out. Plan welln) if you come here!!!

Fantastic experience! My dad worked in the Shuttle Program and so coming back to JSC decades after he retired to bring my kids here was super emotional but an incredible day!

We had a good time the last time we were here was in 2011. They have added more activities for the kids. The only bad experience is that the Cafe close early and we have no idea our train tour was more then one hour. We had to rush and see all things that we need to see including the gift shop because we were starbing.

It was my first time visiting but I'm glad I came, it was amazing to see the space shuttle sitting on top of the jet. I remember when it took its final mission and flew around to different cities. It's a sight to see up close of how massive it is. I really enjoyed it and I would love to return again!

Independence Plaza presented by Boeing is an international landmark, offering an experience like nothing else in the world.

I always wanted to visit this amazing place and finally got the time for it. If you are going to check in details all corners and exhibitions you can spend the whole day into it. There is no better place in the world for a space fan than this! There are 3 tram trips to embark, taking you out of the main facility. Make sure you don't miss them! The only way to grasp the scale of Saturn V rocket is by touching it 😄 There are tickets for single visit, family, or members, but no discount for non-family groups. You can buy tickets at the entrance by card & cash or via internet with a small discount. Check the extra tram trips on arrival because the mission control one needs to be booked.

Great to see Independence mounted on top of NASA 905. It's great to be able to see inside the shuttle and see how much space was in the cargo area and how little space was in the crew area. The Boeing has been turned into a great exhibition that shows how the system was tested, how the shuttle was mounted, and some of the history.

Explored the center for the day. Enjoyed it immensely. Had lunch in the cafe. Stayed for the Galaxy of lights show at night which was beautiful. I would recommend this to everyone.

Was a beautiful day to visit Johnson Space Center and the Shuttle Carrier. It isn't often you get to stand under an airplane this size much less get to walk around and look at one with such historical significance. Definitely worth the visit.

The price was higher because they had a festival going on but I can't say I saw anything going on that seemed like a festival. Lots of information to take in but it's so spread out that there seems to be a lot of wasted space. Wish there were more interactive things you could do but instead it was mainly reading pictures and placards. Worth a visit simply because of the tours.

Got there 15 min before they opened on a Saturday, became crowded very quickly. Some of the older displays are well preserved and the new ones are vibrant and educational. The virtual ride was a disappointment, and 2 of the 4 seats we bought didn't work so we had to split up our rides, the visual effects should definitely be updated, of course it's nothing like the Avatar ride at Disney's Animal Kingdom lol. Over all the proves of admission and everything inside is way too high. They definitely aren't needing any return customers at those prices I suppose.

Very expensive. They sort of cattle herd you in. And people were highly impatient and we got there early even. I actually had a woman shove me. Then the gentleman manning the entrance had the audacity to tell me to "have patience" as the scanning machine was not properly reading the barcode of the tickets I bought at the kiosk because their online service wasn't working appropriately. The ride inside was very fun, but after spending so much to get in...we enjoy space and my kids had fun, this is the only reason I'm giving 3 stars. And it was also very cool to see the larger space craft outside. Really disappointed overall.

This place was awesome! The history and getting to go inside the shuttle was amazing for those of us that grew up with the shuttle flying. Seeing falcon 9 there also was cool to see the evolution of everything. Great experience.
