Nice area to get away from downtown life and chill a bit. Good tree shade areas and big fountains. Very dark at night and nice uplights on the trees!

Beautiful Christmas display. We were dining nearby and made a stop here after dinner. The kids loved the lights. It was a spontaneous trip that turned into a lifetime of memories.

Very underrated part of Downtown Houston with City Hall right there. It is AMAZING to visit this square during Christmas time with all of its festive lights. Regardless, some spectacular views of Houston skyline and pretty reflection pool

Nice place to walk and have some rest from work. This area has some homeless people but they are not harmful or treat anybody. They just want to rest and get their food. HPD has a continuous presence there in addition downtown safety workers. There's always an activity there.

I’ve been to HS for countless events. Most recently was Reggae Fest. Most memorable was the George Floyd rally. Great place downtown where people can hang out, bring the family and experience Houston culture when they have events.

There are many decorations for Christmas and thanksgiving last year in this park. Hopefully they will do the same things this year.

Wonderful! Enjoyed the time here with my family! We went around 9pm and there wasn't a lot of people and it didn't take us long to find parking!

Beautiful anytime of day but it's a real treat at night. Especially during the holidays this is a must see. When in downtown Houston stop here for a stroll.

The staggering fountains are pretty cool and the color design is swaggy. Seems like dogs would love this place. Should of thrown a quarter in for luck. 🤔🧐 There is a/like big trees and stuff around there and well shaded. 🌎 Even the culture that it represents allows horses with police in the park.

Visited the Jamaica festival at this location. It was ok. They only took cash at the door. There were live bands, various vendors and food trucks. Nice crowd

Parking. Or lack thereof, I should say. I went on a Sunday night and there was no parking. Everything is towaway zone or blocked off. But it is pretty right now for the holidays.
