My husband and I started going to this dog park back in July this year, and I honestly love it so much. We were going to Millie Bush Dog Park beforehand, which is a great alternative. However, in my opinion, this park beats it. Our Nova girl loves to swim and has made lots of new friends. The lake is in the shape of a dog bone, which is super cute. This also has an area for the small doggies as well. I appreciate the size of this dog park because it is perfect not just for the dogs but for owners as well. We can walk and enjoy the outdoors as well as our furry friend. It has lots of shade, and my husband and I truly appreciate that because it is honestly difficult to find dog parks shaded in general. In my opinion, this dog park would be very difficult to beat, and we have only been to a handful. Great memories made this summer that I will always cherish. This dog park does have water fountains and dog wash areas for both big and small. Sorry, not pictured. These pictures were over the course of a month. ** *FYI*** The sewage drain. Beware of snakes near it. It is Texas, after all. The snakes try to go down and can not. Apparently, they are all fat and try to escape that way. I have not seen any in the dog pool but just the drain. It is the opposite direction of small dog park at the end of the big dog park doggy pool past the first shelter in the left coming in.

The dog park is the place of having a community within dog families around. It’s nice to have such an awesome park in this area! There are sections for smaller dogs and bigger dogs so everyone can come with safety. There are pools for dogs so they can jump into the water as they wish. The shower is set outside of the segregated park so you can wash them off accordingly. People can come with family and walk around doggies! A beautiful time indeed. Will come back again. 🙂 Cheers 🥂

Love this doggy park on highway 6. Had to keep wiping off his drools the first time we were there. There is a big and small dog park. Both park had a small pool for the doggies to swim. The place is clean with plenty of benches and green space to enjoy the green day with your fur babies.

Updated: There is an aggressive dog that pick a fight with any puppies. The owner is not even bother to hold her back by a lease!!! She attacked my puppy twice in 2 different day!! It's the white one It's an awesome park, but u gotta be careful cuz my 3 months old puppy was too scare since another small and cute dog just attacks her aggressively for all sudden. We have no ideas to protect her from that dog, since they normally smell each other before playing. Still scare now, I hate that

I am new to the area and found this park on Google. If you’re new to the park here’s a pro-tip: BRING TOWELS! There is a huge bone-shaped pool and, if your dog is anything like mine, they will definitely be jumping in. I absolutely LOVE this dog park! 17 acres of fun for my pup! There’s a nice walking trail that is about 3/4 of a mile so it’s perfect to walk while my dog is playing and enjoying the space! This is a clean park, no trash, and owners pick up after their dog. There are also 6 stalls to clean your pup up afterwards too. Your dog will need it! Can’t forget about the obstacle course! This was my dogs first time experiencing obstacles and he did great!

This is by far the best dog park in/near Houston. Not only is it huge with small & large dog areas, but both have pools, plenty of trails & shaded areas. Bring dog soap because they have dog showers right near the entrance/exits! So handy!

I would give extra stars if it has the possibility to walk our dog at night, beside that it is very big, clean, please follow the rules of the park, dont mess up the sizes of the dog, smalls with the smalls, if you have aggresive dogs, please take him to an Dog Trainer, it is not expensive comparated to an unfortunate situation,

Great local park. They have a big bone shaped pool for dogs to swim and cool off in. They have some obstacles for dogs to train with, big open fields, many water/mud puddles and plenty of trees for shade. There is also a separate section for small dogs that has the same set up but in a smaller area. The only downside here is sometimes you get owners who have poorly trained dogs, are kinda crazy themselves and the occasional venomous snake.

This might be the biggest dog park Jasmine & Otis have ever been to. They were so excited to be here, it was obnoxious. At first we had to be told by a worrisome small dog owner that the “over 20 lb dog area was on the other side of the fence”. I thought we were in the correct designated dog size zone because this space was very large and usually the small dogs are given a smaller area than the big dogs but because this park is THAT LARGE then so is the small dog zone, as well. Both areas have waters of pool fir the dogs to jump, run and dive into. Otis chased and swam the greasiest distance known to him and based off of how much fun both jasmine and Otis had here, I’d have to give it 5 stars.

Please don't bring your aggressive dogs here. Great dog park. There is a park for small dogs and a park for big dogs I only use the big one, because my dog is over the weight limit. Big dog side has a nice trail, dog bone shaped pond, lots of muddy holes for dogs to play in, dog poo bag stations and trash cans spread around, and an obstacle course. Not sure why my dog doesn't like the dog water fountain. There are some aggressive dogs, but you need to stay vigilant. Some aggressive dog owners don't care, and others will take care of their dog immediately. I've seen dogs draw blood and others limp away. There are also some really nice people and nice dogs here.

This doggie park is located in a wooded area near HW6@I10. Easy to find, lots of parking space. Two big parks with pool, pavilion, and trails. Great for your fur babies to run and exercise.

I love this park! It's one of the few, if not only, one that has agility equipment and my dog loves it!!! She's not very social with other dogs, so I have her go up and down the two ramps and go through the tunnel. The park is relatively picked up. Most of the owners obey the small dog and large dog sides! We will definitely be back!

Best dog park I've ever been to! 17+ acres of play opportunity for your fur babies! They have a swimming pond, agility equipment, trails, and clean-up area. Both dogs and owners were very respectful!

We were visiting from out of state and staying at a nearby campground and need a place for our dogs to get some of their energy out. This place was great! Lots of space, shade, and I loved the pet wash areas. The weird color of the water was concerning. There was a slimy area at the left side. I tried to keep my dogs out of it, but they wouldn't listen. It was a fun place. I would be there several times per week if we lived there. Just wear old shoes and bug spray, its very swampy there.

We had a wonderful experience at this hidden gem. Very clean and well maintained facility and soooo much space for the dogs as well as shaded seating areas for us paw-rents to be comfortable while we watch (please remember to supervise your dogs at all times--proactive management keeps both pups and people safe) our dogs enjoy themselves. There are also multiple shower stalls with hoses available to wash your dogs outside of the sandy park area and that gives owners confidence that our pups won't get themselves dirty again on the way to our vehicles. The police arrived and parked in the lot around 8:15pm to ensure everyone cleared out by closing time (8:30 or sunset, whichever comes first). That protection was appreciated because it gets dark and it's a little off the beaten path.

Please fix all the gigantic mud holes! Fill with dirt, then plant grass.. I'd go there daily if it weren't for those. The pool isn't bad to dry off, but the mud adds another 6 hours of bathing/ drying my 3 huskies. Lots of great ppl we've met. We have it in budget please fix.

Great dog park! Lots of water for the pups to play in and a hose off area on your way out. Friendly people and pups! My babe's are pretty scared of swimming in the pool at home, but they absolutely love swimming here! I haven't noticed any problems with bugs other than caterpillars. There was a TON in the spring and you had to be careful where you walk as to not squish them. I saw one recent review about a snake in the water so I would keep your eye out; however, in the past I have only seen snapping turtles...but not on the last couple of trips, so a park ranger may have removed them.

Best public dog park in my area. Clean and well maintained. My two little girls love this park. They have so much fun and get a little muddy, but they clean up easily in dog wash stations before I load them up in the car for the trip home.

HUGE dog park with options for small or large dogs. Both had plenty of other dogs for my dog to play with. Both have a dog lake, which my dog immediately jumped into!!!

I do think way too many individuals decide to take their small dog into the large dog park area. I witnessed again a small dog get hurt by a large Labrador. Not sure why anyone decides to do this and take that chance for their precious dog.

I brought my puppy to the small dog section yesterday and everyone was super nice. They all said...just let him go, we all watch what's going on. And it was amazing. Routine dogs in the evenings. Very shady as well. Learned from experience at other parks, bring your purse/valuables with you. The park has a washing station, water fountains and poop bags.

So far this is our favorite dog park! Bone shaped pool in the big and small dog sides, HUGE agility field to run/play in, a few benches, MUDHOLES and a doggy wash station so bring their shampoo! Restrooms avaliable on the side of the park but watch out for the June bugs!

Great place to take your dog if they like to run and socialize. Plenty of bath stations to clean up your muddy pup before bringing them home. Park restrooms are available too unlike some other dog parks.

Big large dog space, shaped around a generous small dog enclosure. It's in a naturally low wet area of west Houston/ East Katy and the paths in the 3/4 mile loop trail have some muddy moments. The park does provide a dog wash pens for muddy paws/feet as you leave. A very big water pool for the large dogs that love water, with a jump platform, and textured slopes along the edges for easy swim outs. There is plenty of room for social and less social dogs. We'll be back.
