2/11/22 Lots of bass here. Caught a bunch on tiny crank baits along the shores. Boat launch and kayaks is accessible. Be nice if TPWD stock rainbow trout here during the cold season. Big lake clean clear trout water but no trout ☹️ Btw they absolutely slam this bait. Consistently catching fish with this bait.

Buffalo Run Park is a city park with 4 lakes located in Missouri City. The park has 3 covered pavilions, a multilevel observation tower, floating fishing piers, paved and unpaved nature trails, playgrounds, restrooms, a public boat ramp, etc. The park offers running, walking, biking, fishing, picnicking, boating, kayaking etc. The view from the observation tower is marvelous. There are bridges all around the park to cross the lakes. While visiting there we saw various kinds of birds flying around in the park. Love to go back there again. The park is very clean which is very praiseworthy.

This is truly a gem hidden in plain sight. I just happened to Google “parks nest me with walking trails” & this park popped up. I’m so glad we came! Tons of photo ops, not crowded, clean & even has a decent body of water! We’ll definitely add this to our list of parks 😊

A very nice park! If you are visiting with friends or family or just here for a walk or run, this park is really good and he huge! You can even do fishing. The park is around a pond of sorts and there are multiple view points to see the water or just fish. The way it’s setup is really nice. There are a lot of play areas for kids. There is also a restroom available. Multiple parking spots are located around the park and there is lots of space! Just like the info board says, this park is for everyone.

Buffalo Run Park is one of the most beautiful parks in Fort Bend County with picturesque lake views, well-maintained, tranquil trails for walking/hiking/biking, playgrounds for kids, fishing spots, and ample parking space. A great place for outdoor enjoyment and lush greenery.

I walked this park today. Nothing really special about. It could use a good & long overdue renovation. Trails could use more dirt & / or gravel depending on the area. The park could use more benches. The volleyball court & horseshoe areas could use more sand. The lake can be scenic from bridges across the lake & the tower

This is a nice clean park that offers a lot. I saw people fish, bike, and run. There's a children's playground, decent restrooms, an observation tower, two boat ramps, and a Missouri City cop to top it off. There are many "No Swimming" signs throughout the park. Overall a nice neighborhood park that has something for everyone.

The park is HUGE and way prettier than I was expecting. The lake is astonishing. I went on a windy day with lightnings and it was one of the best experiences I've had.

The paths around the lakes allow for me and my dog to run and forget we are in the city. We play make believe that it's a dense forest. The paths are well kept. It is clean and cleared. We love it here and come often

This is a great place to have a picnic, walk , or just to get out in the wilderness. Has a great walking trail, excercises and play ground for the kids. You can even so some fishing if you like. Not sure if you can camp here, but if so, they have awesome spots for tents...You definitely will be surprised as to how beautiful this park is. I have not seen it crowded as of yet so there's that. Definitely come and bring the family, loved ones or enjoy it solo but do get out here asap!

Beautiful place to stroll around and fish. They even have a boat launch area and a couple of fishing piers. There's a few playgrounds for the kids. There's a decent walking trail around the park. There's 1 negative thing tho - don't keep any valuables in your car. People tend to break into cars even in broad daylight on multiple occasions. Even tho they have cameras all over the lots, it still seems to be an issue. Cops usually patrol the area. One of them warned me to not keep any valuables in my car while fishing.

Worst park ever!!! My sister had her son's 3rd birthday party there, the restrooms where locked so none of the guests could relieved themselves. Then the power was not working,so I couldn't Dj the party. And when I called the people over the park, A young lady told me sometimes the power works sometimes it doesn't!!!! Don't waste your time at this park there is a million other parks in Houston that are so much better than this one. #RIPOFF

We often take walks in nature on Saturday morning and we haven't been to this Park in many months. We enjoyed seeing small changes hearing Carolina Wrens in the trees by the lakes and spider webs at the observation platform. The temperature was very pleasant and the air was clear. Fun morning in a pretty park.

I attended a kids nerf gun birthday here and was pleasantly surprised. There's a playground area all the way in the back. Nice park with trail. Covered picnic area and plenty of parking. Rental is extremely affordable!

I really like this park. It has just the right balance of accessibility and nature to provide a little peace. I ride my bicycle here often. I'm happy to see the city is working to improve the park but please don't clear too much of the undergrowth as it provides natural habitat. I would really like to see the trails expanded slightly to encompass the northern ponds.

Very nice lake park, It's next to a High School. We were there for the Halloween Tunk or Treat. Huge involvement form the community. Local fire and police departments were there for kids to meet.

👍👍 Wow! Just wow! I could not believe this water park is free! It’s just a neighborhood park with this giant water park. It comes with a ton of slides, lots of sprinklers, it is great for kids of all sizes. The slides are big enough for adults as well. The parking lot is small but there is ample street...
