Great little park, wonderful layout, lot of trees with excellent shade coverage. Gazebos, very wide sidewalks. Beautiful wild flowers, roses, birds, turtles, yellow irises. Very thoughtfully done, rather quiet, not a lot of people on a Sunday.

Beautiful space to skate. My son and I skate along the water and read all the positive messages along the path. The concrete sidewalks are well maintained and the lawn is manicured. There are also some well hidden geocaches.

This is my go to fishing spot. I’ve never caught anything here my husband just caught a couple of little sunfish but that’s about it. I love to feed the turtles and it’s just neat I mean The walkways all have these cool sayings on them and quotes and there’s flowers of all types not to mention the wildlife is abundant. Beautiful fountains and waterfalls. If you’re into photography this is an must stop place. Perfect for graduation shoots Instagram pictures and the ultimate selfie backgrounds. It’s clean, maintained, secure, and there’s lots of shaded areas if it gets too hot. It is open from sunrise to sunset and they ask that you not bring loud music because it is nestled in the middle of a neighborhood and people do live with their homes right next to the park. There is now a parking lot which is awesome because it used to be just street parking. There is a gazebo on the right hand side all the way at the back of the running trails and on the left hand side there’s a really neat art installation you should check out it looks like a giant metal down the kids can climb on and you could take cool pictures by. The bridges are like something out of a romance novel absolutely gorgeous. Sunset is my favorite time to be at this park.

Used to be a beautiful park. But Harris County has taken over and the lowest bidder landscapers are ruining it. Blowing all the leaves and clippings into the water has the water so hunker up you can’t see the koi fish no more. 😢 Welcome to the Mandolin sewage treatment plant.

Although it's a little small; it is quiet. It's snuggled away in the middle of a neighborhood. The water fountains provide a relaxing place to sit on one of the many boulders. There seem to be a few benches too, but plenty of boulders. On the plus side, it's not too far from the hustle. Turtles, squirrels and birds of different types. Perfect if you're trying to get a decent jog or read a book.

Small, not a lot of shade. Didn't see anyone else while I was there. Pretty.

Well maintained. Great spot for a stroll. There's a couple of tables for picnic. You might have a peek of wild life, nutria rats, cranes, fish, lots of turtles and a couple of snakes. Please be courteous, let the animals be and watch your kiddos and pets.

This place is beautiful, offers plenty of water ways, trails and lots of shade. A nice mini conservation area for birds and other wild life. Plenty of turtles everywhere that literally come to you for food or to get petted. Make sure to check out both sides of the park to get the full experience!

Very cool park, very peaceful. A great place to sit and relax, or a good place for a walk. There's a big thing that's half buried in the ground.
