Wonderful trail to run and walk! The larger loop is 2 miles and mostly shaded. The smaller loop is 1 mile and a fun way to encounter ducks, turtles, and other critters. Plenty of water fountains along the way. Can get a little crowded during prime times, but a great place to exercise nonetheless.

This is such an awareness to one's mindsight. The culture. The experience. The natural elements are all so connected. It feels good. As one shared with me as they walked the path, "your smile let's me know it's alright." Now that's connection - in tune.

Scenic trail going around a golf course and can see some critters along the way. I like the two mile length but I prefer paved paths because I always get dirt in my shoes.

Cool trail, lots of runners and families. I was a bit confused about the trail, but overall a great way to explore and run

This has been my go to place for my daily COVID-19 outting... shaded paths that make for a better run/walk during the Texas sun... Not so crowed early in the day compared to after work hours... Maka sure to wear a pair of tennis shoes you don't mind getting dirty.... Two mile trail around the park... Beautiful views along the trails...

This trail is part of my bike route. I past this trail on my way back to buffalo bayou trail (downtown). This trail take you around Herman park and the zoo. A perfect place to take a long stroll, under the cover of oak trees.

Great place to run/walk and enjoy people watching and all the activities at the park. I really wish people would learn to clean up after their dogs .

I've been jogging/biking on this track for 25 yrs...had the pleasure to sit & talk with Mr Marvin Taylor...during his lifetime. The track has less traffic, during the week days, prior to 2:00 pm.Very nice track, well maintained. Having a law enforcement background, I'm not aware of any "substantial" criminal activity here. Update: Sept 2023......Even though this exercise track/trail is 24 hrs & reasonably lighted, I would strongly suggest, not to exercise "alone" due to the "likelihood " of crime. ( unless you're armed)Unfortunately, we law enforcement personnel "can't " be everywhere, predicated on the square miles of Houston. E J S,Sgt Major,Special Agent,TXARNG
