We wanted to try out a place we haven't visited yet for some healthy meal options. The dishes didn't "wow" us but were good. There was plenty of tables available at the time when we dined there.

I've been here a few times and I enjoyed every dish I have tried. The Noble Broccoli is my favorite and the Delectable Eggplant is also delicious. I primarily order takeout but the staff is really nice and I really enjoy the food.

I was never this confident about giving a place a 5-star rating! 1- Food: Food was absolutely delicious! 2- Vibe: The environment was absolutely peaceful and calming. 3- Pricing: Very reasonable and honestly cheap prices. 4- Cleanness: This place is one of the cleanest restaurants I've seen. The tables, the floor, restroom, dishes, etc. Everything was neat and clean. 5- Staff: Super friendly and patient staff 6- Menu diversity: their menu looks amazing and has tons of delicious options!! 100% recommend for vegans and non-vegans! PS I got there right after they opened but by the time I left it was relatively busy, and still peaceful!

I've been a loyal customer of this place for years, and even though it had been a while since my last visit, I was relieved to see that it's still open. Every time I come here, I'm never disappointed with the food. My go-to orders are the vermicelli and the bun hue, both of which are absolutely delicious. Their drinks are equally amazing, but my personal favorite is their cheesecake. Even though I'm no longer vegan, their vegan cheesecake remains my top choice. Can't wait for my next visit!

I’m in love with Loving Hut! The restaurant was clean. The prices were reasonable & nonvegans can enjoy this Asian cuisine. The customer service was friendly. I only regret not getting an appetizer. We had the Mongolian Wonder & Veggie Sea Crescent. They were both good. I enjoyed all the veggies in the sea crescent dish but I really enjoyed the flavor of Mongolian dish. For dessert we had the carrot cake & chocolate cake. Both desserts tasted good but I preferred the carrot cake. We tried the orange joy, hot jasmine tea, carrot juice, & hot French coffee. All of the drinks were good. I like carrot juice & hot teas, so there was no clear winner in the drink category. If you like cold drinks on a hot day, opt for the orange joy. If it’s cold and rainy, opt for one of their hot options. I’ll choose different options & edit this post the next time I visit this restaurant.

Decided I wanted to try a vegan meal and this place was right around the corner. Was a bit unsure on what I was going to get, but the food turned out delicious 😋. I tried several dishes and all were amazing. I was full, but without the heavy feel of being full. People tend not to dine in restaurants when it's not occupied by other, but don't be fooled. You'll be missing out on something pretty amazing!

Squeaky clean atmosphere. Staff is always friendly and informative. This has been my go-to spot for vegan takeout for years. Saigon tofu is the best, and so is the guru rice. Can't forget about the golden rolls! They also offer vegan desserts, which the banana cake is my fave.

Great ambiance and pleasant staff members. My friend and I had the Arigato Sushi for an appetizer and we each got the Golden BBQ Vermicelli. Then we had some detox water it looks like it was infused with Cucumber and Lemon.

The customer service is amazing! The staff is friendly and the wait times are minimal. The atmosphere here is a little sad though. It looks really empty and outdated. I do believe the pandemic may have had an impact on this Loving Hut, unfortunately. They also don’t offer all the items listed on the menu, so it definitely needs to be updated. The food is good, not great or bad, just good. I’ve been a vegetarian for years so I’ve had different types of vegan/vegetarian meats and the vegan meat in some of these dishes taste a little off. Based on the high ratings, I’m not sure how consistent this is or if it was just the dish that I ordered. Some of the sauces were too runny. However, the Golden Nuggets were amazing! They were super crispy and tasty with the sauce. Overall, this place is good but could use a few improvements. I would return to give them another chance and try another dish because of their friendly staff.

Pretty disappointed:( loving Hut in Seattle ) was the bomb … this one just tasteless… this is why a lot of non vegan people are saying our food is tasteless… and mine was just not seasoned right …. Also portions here and in Seattle are very different. Here they are like for kids and in Seattle they are like for family … really made to share and try different dishes

I’m a big fan of loving hut from my experiences ordering it in California. Unfortunately the pad Thai that we ordered was not pad Thai. No pad Thai sauce no peanuts and no abundance of fresh bean sprouts and carrots. It was a platter full of plain oily noodles. The eggplant we ordered was delicious as was the carrot juice. But given that we spent 60 dollars on Uber eats for delivery and to provide a solid tip, this was a waste of money.

Loving Hut is the first all vegan restaurant at which I ate here in Houston. Up to that time being vegetarian or vegan in Houston meant asking a restaurant to take off items from what I was ordering and which also meant the restaurant would charge me more for less! Coming to Loving Hut was sooooooo exciting for me. It has been over 12 years since my first visit and I still enjoy the food as much as the first time I dined there. My favorite "go to" dish is #33 Cheerful Noodle. There is a lot of bun available in Houston, but this dish is so flavorful. You can't go wrong with any order. There is generally only one person taking orders and running the food out to the tables, but service is always timely and friendly. So, as Houston begins to get more and more all vegan restaurants I think it is important to remember to go to an area "trailblazer"!

I used to live close to Loving Hut 10 years ago and ate here quite often. I loved it. No gross meat on the menu. I now live an hour away but was in the area so stopped in. The inside has become a little worn over the years but my food was really really really good as always. Love that fresh carrot juice!

Surprisingly delicious! My husband is skeptical of vegan restaurants but this place serves very flavorful vegan dishes. It was busy so I think they have a loyal following. We will be back!

Food is adequate in terms of quality and portion size. At least the food is very cheap. There are lots of vegan options, which is great. Service is friendly. Service time varies. Peak hours will see wait times of around 15 minutes. Less active times have wait times less than 5 minutes. It doesn't appear like there are many workers at all, so I kind of feel bad for them during peak hours, but maybe there's more in the back I'm not aware of. Besides varied wait times, I also ding one star because of the interior. It seems a little dated and ugly, but maybe that's just my perspective. The walls are all yellow and there is little effective lighting. The fact that most walls are just glass should help with lighting, but it doesn't really. The wooden tables and chairs look cheap and a plain white. They have iron bars on both of their doors which is kind of weird and makes it seem like the place is closed, especially since I don't see any open sign or a lot of light inside. Looks a little ghetto that they need the extra security of iron bars. More important than design is the fact that some things don't work or are underutilized. They have like 3 big screens that I assume are to display the menu digitally, but they're either turned off or not working. It's a shame because the menu options are overwhelming and the menu itself is a little difficult to read. They also have a little glass display that I assume is to demonstrate desserts, but it's empty. Not sure if they're just too lazy to show the deserts or if the display just doesn't work so it can't keep the desert at an ideal temperature. Would be nice to have desserts visible and on demand. Overall a pleasant experience. The only cons I see are the perceived laziness and cheapness of the place, but the food was cheap and tasty. Check it out if you're looking for a place with lots of vegan Asian cuisine.

The food was great! Fresh and high quality. Have you ever been so hungry you see a plate of food that has meat and you’re thinking, “That’s NOT going to be enough meat for me,” and wish you would have ordered something else? I have. But along with the rice and rolls, it was completely filling. Here’s my only complaint. I spilled my full glass of water. Okay, I’ll admit that was bad on my part, but I offered to clean it up. They said, “No problem,” and I went about my merry way. However, my glass was never re-filled. Going through a meal with no water, for me at least, is like going through a desert without…you get the idea. Anyway, I was delighted by the food, but disappointed with the lack of service.

I had high expectations about this place due to all the good reviews. My visit was okay. My husband had the curry soup and I had the fried rice with soy chicken tenders. Both dishes were good. For dessert, we ordered a slice of chocolate cake and it was really good, except for a piece of plastic in the frosting! I'm just glad I caught it in my teeth and didn't swallow it. The wait time was also a little longer than I thought it would be since it wasn't a lunch hour or dinner hour but in between. I think I would try them again but I don't think I would get another dessert here.
