I have been coming here a week straight and I love Mayira. She is super friendly and provides excellent customer service to Native Americans also known as Black Americans. My favorite is the Big Nasty burger with Vegan cheese. I also love the vegan pecan pancakes. This place is always super busy and short staff so please make sure you have patience when you go. You will love the dood nature has to offer.

Green Vegetarian Cuisine is a great restaurant! Clean, Timely, and most importantly the food tastes awesome. I probably eat at this restaurant twice a week. I should by part owner as much as I eat at this restaurant ..lol The cauliflower wings are awesome as well as the vegan cupcakes. One essential part Of the restaurant that should not be unnoticed is the staff. JJ is one of the nicest and sweetest waitresses I’ve met. Her customer service is superb not to mention she has the coolest tattoos. This young lady is a hard worker and very personable when she’s not answering the phone and taking a dozen orders...lol Overall this is a great place to dine. Don’t take my word for it try it yourself and ask for the waitress JJ!

Lots of plant based options. Homemade ranch was amazing with the buffalo cauliflower. Brunch only on Sunday. Tried the jackfruit BBQ sandwich, it was great! Menu is to vast, I'll have to keep coming back. The kids love the place and really like all the bike pictures on the walls, I'm a cyclist and I'd have to agree. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The staff in this contemporary restaurant is super friendly and very knowledgeable. They can answer all you questions about their full menu of vegetarians appetizers and entrees and desserts. The cauliflower wings and from scratch homemade sauces were amazing!! The house burger was unbelievable!!! Whatever you order well be fresh and bursting with flavor! Excellent vegetarian comfort food. The service was incredible even with all the people (not shown) waiting for takeout. The chicken fried steak tastes as like ordinary beef versions. Definitely the star of our meal.

Yes, its true! The food is amazing and the entire menu can be made vegan. My fiancé and I come eat here together at least once a week. The real reason we come back? The excellent service and complete menu/ingredient knowledge of our server, Jenna. She's been there every time we have been there and manages all hosting, serving and to-go orders- with a smile. Went once about a year ago and my food was excellent. Would go more often but I live in Sugarland/Missouri City and rarely on that side of town. Very nice staff also.

I've been going to green vegetarian cuisine since it opened in Houston. I love the food and usually the service is great. But the last time I went, one of the waitresses and one of the cooks weren't wearing their masks correctly (the nose isn't covered). I just stopped by now, and I saw the same thing happen, so I left. Also the restaurant is understaffed right now, making the wait time for food too long, which is another reason I left today.

07/09/17 The hubby and I came here for lunch after our workout. As always service was stellar!! We had Max as our waiter and he was AMAZING!!! Attentive and super friendly. The food was delicious. We started with the cauliflower hot wings. I would always recommend these to everyone- they are freaking delicious! The hubby got the Deluxe Burger but swapped the soy patties for their homemade chickpea patties and a side of sweet potato fries. I had the Green Burger- a chickpea patty with crushed avocado, lettuce, tomato and a side of kale. I'm not a huge fan of the chickpea patty. It was tasty but a little too dry and heavy for me. The hubby recommends their tamarind water. It's delicious and refreshing. Green Vegetarian you'll always be our vegan/vegetarian spot. 01/13/17 Had the usual cauliflower hot wings to start. Those were good as always. Tried the deluxe burger for the first time and while it wasn't bad, I wasn't really impressed and a bit disappointed. I got it with a side of kale salad. The burger has 2 beefless patties, sauteed mushrooms and onions, avocado and melted cheese all on a bun. It's a freaking huge burger!! I think the patties were the let down for me. They were blah tasting. They were definitely store bought (I think it might have been the Boca brand) and not made in house. It lacked flavor and tasted like the typical soy/vegan burger that every non-vegan or non-vegetarian person would say tastes like cardboard. Don't get me wrong, it's far from cardboard, but if you're trying to get a friend to go vegan or vegetarian, I wouldn't have them try this burger. Overall, if the patties were tastier it would have been a banging burger. 10/30/16- went here for brunch and the food was, as usual, delicious. I had the vegan option of the avocado eggs benedict (comes with breakfast tots) which is made with tofu, and the sweet potato pancakes with chocolate chips and freshly squeezed orange juice. I ended up taking the pancakes home since the eggs benedict was so filling. Service was top notch and our server, Jeffrey was friendly and very attentive. Staff is super friendly, service is quick and top notch. I highly recommend the cauliflower hot wings and sweet potato fries for the appetizer. I had the falafel bowl- it was super filling and so delicious! I would recommend this place to all vegetarians and vegans. #LocalGuides

I’ve been coming here for I’m gonna say a little over 2 years now. Everytime I come in I always feel so welcome. There spicy chicken less lol sandwich and cauliflower wings are my favorite. Lol this is my third time ordering from them this week. I live 30 mins away, always worth the drive. One of the best vegetarian/vegan restaurants in Houston✨

The food is always amazing. I personally love their spicey beef salad as well as their fries. Their desert selection is pretty good. Especially there magic brownie. It's like a carmelitas but in brownie form. . The service is great here. My server was all over the place taking good care of her costumers. Especially for being the only one serving. She attended to everyone who came in. (such as take out, dine ins, and even calls). The experience was a great one. Totally will be dinning in again.

I tried this place out for lunch today and I was shocked the deluxe nachos were good. I also ordered the cauliflower hot wings and the Mediterranean bowl for lunch tomorrow. I'm from the south so the wings taste like collard greens with hot sauce(😍) which makes sense when you consider what they actually are. The bowl I haven't tried it yet but it looks south watering.

The food is always fresh and delicious. My favorite is the "beef" burrito. They also have really good buffalo/bbq cauliflower and the nachos are amazing. Staff is friendly and attentive.

Quaint unassuming little storefront. Just found it by luck. Falafel burrito & tortilla soup were extremely tasty and fresh. The service and thoughtfulness right on point down to the cucumber heart garnish. Great menu and service. Can't wait to come back, And try more options. The desserts look amazing.

LOVE this place! Definitely my favorite restaurant. It's a vegetarian place but caters to vegans and gluten-free, as well. Almost everything on their menu can be adapted as such. I enjoy the variety of choices and haven't had anything bad on the menu. My husband eats meat and still loves going there. That's how you know it's good. :)

We just moved to Chimney Rock and today I had lunch here with my husband. We ABSOLUTELY loved it! The food was amazing and delicious! The place also had a great energy all around! However, my 5 star rating is for not only the food but for the great service we received. Maggie(if you are seeing this you rock!), was our server and she went above and beyond. Tomorrow is my birthday and being that they do have cupcakes I ventured out and asked if they sell cakes. It is not something they do BUT Maggie talked to her manager and guess what? My husband will be picking up a strawberry cake for me tomorrow! Maggie, you rock! Love love love this place we will definetly be back! P.S.- The sweet potato fries here are delicious.

Geeeeez this place is ridiculously good! I never knew cauliflower could taste like that!! Herbavore and carnivore alike will be satisfied and amazed. Great job of making a kosher restaurant with mass appeal - the place was busy on an off night with a really diverse crowd. Open one in Atlanta PLEASE??!

The quality at green has deteriorated over the last 2 years. It just gets worst and worst and worst. Also, is the staff constantly drunk or just overworked? SMH.

I love the food here but I am extremely disapointed in the service. I walked in and the hostess was on the phone. It was very busy, so I understood. There were people at the front waiting to pick up orders. I decided to sit down to wait my turn. She never addressed me. I waited 15 minutes. Never recieved a, “ Hello, it’ll be just a moment.” Nothing. I went to my car to place an order online. I was successful. I placed my order on postmates from their google profile. It was 1:57 PM. At 2:13 PM my food was ready. I walked back in and nothing. I told the hostess, after she finished her phone call, I’m here to pick up my order. I gave my name and the hostess proceed to go to the back and instead of bringing me my food, she served other tables. I sat down to wait. I thought my food was in the back. Ten minutes later. I stand at the front and ask if my food was ready. She looks at the completed orders upfront and sees the bag with my name on it. It was there the whole time. She could’ve just looked at the orders in the front. The hostess upfront refused to address me or serve me. And she treated the other three black people the exact same way. She would not greet them or serve them unprompted. I will not be back.

Just fantastic! Appetizers, burgers and fries, entrees, texmex entrees, and yes, fresh desserts too! We had the most fabulous vegan meal ever:) choose the Buddha Bowl for super healthy options!

This restaurant was one of the places I truly missed when I moved from San Antonio, so I thought I had died and gone to heaven when this gem opened in Bellaire. My only complaint is that the parking is kind of tight, but you can solve that by carpooling and taking an Uber. They make the best sweet potato fries I have ever eaten. The bowls are delicious, and they have gluten-free desserts.

The vegetarian food here is great! I've been here a few times now, and had the buffalo cauliflower, nachos, fish 'n chips, chicken parmesan, jalapeno cheese burger, and the steak quesadilla. The meat substitute is very good; I would highly recommend the jalapeno cheese burger. One concern I have with this place is that while the wait staff is very friendly, the wait times are a little bit long. The last time I was there, our table ordered 1 appetizer and 2 dishes. The appetizer was served after our entrees (and I did have to remind our server that we had ordered it), and the appetizer we were served had been sitting on the counter for a good 5 minutes or so. Overall, food is good, but it seems a little disorganized.

GVC is literally one of our favorite joints in the area! A Vegetarian Restaurant that offers everything to be vegan! Yes Sir! We celebrate my wifes birthday every year here; thats per her request. She usually get the chicken parm & equally loves the side salad! This time we got Drum roll please... Biscuits & Gravy with scrambled tofu & hashbrowns! Yes! My favorite breakfast & sometimes meal; this is a daily special so it is not always on the menu. Along with a Chicken Fried Steak meal with Mash Potatos & Greens. Also a daily special & not always on the menu. Both were fabulous & we would get them everytime! Highly recommend this place! Get there... now! Thank you Green Vegetarian Cuisine for offering Vegan Options!

I guess I didn't like it because I'm not a vegan or vegetarian. Unlike my friend I went with, who is a vegetarian. The soup, and fries were good, but Jalapeno Cheese Burger and classic sandwich were completely bland. They didn't taste good or bad. Just bland! But if you're a vegan maybe this is the place for you. You might like what they offer. Deluxe nachos tasted better than both our sandwiches. The staff is friendly.

The service was good. The staff was friendly. They were out of broccoli and collard greens for my wife's wrap, but the food was fantastic! I'm not a vegetarian, but the big nasty burger made with the beyond burger patty was killer!

Took an take-out order. It was missing a salad, but went back and picked it up. Food is okay. It's a little flat. The staff is mixed on friendliness.

The food was good but I think that their chicken fried chicken is just a soy chicken patty from the store drenched in gravy.. I just don’t like paying someone for something I could’ve done. It was good but not very innovative

We just had lunch there... it was AWESOME! I had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and amazing kale (soooo good-and im not a kale fan). My daughter had the Buffalo chicken sandwich (too spicy for me) with fries (freaking amazing). My other daughter had the kids meal chicken basket-she ate all of it!!! The vegan cupcake was delicious per my girls. My hubby got steak fajitas and I know he'll love it too! Wow definitely returning! Thx Green Vegetarian!

Loved the food, and everyone is nice.

It pains me to give two stars, I love the San Antonio location, and drive there just to eat at that location It's truly disappointing to have such high Hope's and to be so disappointed. Mya our server, was just about the worst server we have ever had the opportunity to experience. With only three patrons in the restaurant, she was unfortunately only worried about another employee who had friends join her at a table to eat.Mya, lacks the ability to multitask and retain attention to drink refills, and to check up on her tables that are waiting for their food , napkins, and drinks.I was appalled at her demeanor towards customers coming in to pick up their orders. Mya absolutely refused to accommodate a customer who only wanted to replace her bread with lettuce. We will not be returning to this location unfortunately.

I love this place my gf found this place and we have been coming almost everyday. The food is all very delicious even the deserts and I don’t really care for sweets like that. The jalapeño burger is also very good And the host/server mayra is the Best. She’s always extremely nice and attentive To me and my gf every time we come.

The food is pretty good and I am really glad that it's certified kosher. The service is pretty hit or miss. There are weekly specials advertised on a mailing list, though the actual availability is unpredictable. If you like vegan or vegetarian versions of meat dishes, this is definitely the place.

I love this place for it’s spicy “beef” salad and the fries are also very good. But... Dear Green Vegetarian, PLEASE don’t use spicy cheese on a kids grilled cheese! We ordered to go and when we ordered we were given a choice between diaya cheese or cashew cheese, and chose the cashew cheese. But we were not warned that the cashew cheese was spicy! Neither of my kids could eat their lunch and we were on a road trip so we had to stop and get them something else. It was very frustrating. Also, all of your cream sauces taste like vanilla and/or sweetened soy milk was used to make them. Whatever it is, there are much tastier vegan options for making creamy sauces.
