👍👍 Beautiful, peaceful setting. Order the fruit tea and lavendar tea! We also loved the black bean noodles, edamame and potstickers. All vegan, all delicious! They’re open again!!! Most serene spot with delicious tea and vegan Taiwanese food. May is a most special person to talk to as is everyone else who helps run this labor of love.

This is an amazing place off the beaten path. Great vegetarian food in a very peaceful setting. The restaurant is part of the temple compound. It's clean and very pretty. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. I would come again.

My family and I like the food here. It’s refreshing, not too oily or too fattening feeling. If that makes sense! My son likes the vegetarian minced meat with rice. My husband had the dumplings. He likes their tea too. It’s brewed fresh each time. The place is quiet and outside of the temple, it’s spacious enough to take a small walk around. There are many small statues around their yard. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a vegetarian restaurant.

Wow what a beautiful and serene place, had no idea this was here. Went to this place with some coworkers, had the bittermelon, gyoza, noodles, and rice, everything was good. They had some trouble splitting our check though haha. Would definitely go back to try other items and their tea!

Very peaceful and pleasant place to eat. The food is wonderful - try it even if you aren't vegetarian. Don't miss the fruit tea or prosperity tea!

Pleasant, peaceful surroundings, excellent food, first time to have fruit tea. The cook came out to see if we liked the food!

A great place to be still and recharge while enjoying some delicious snacks. I heartily recommend the special friend tea, the pocket sandwiches and the purple rice. The staff are all volunteers who are happy to help and answer any questions you may have about Buddhism or the menu.

The teahouse restaurant is located at the Buddhist temple. The menu is simple and all vegetarian. The teas are wonderful - The lemon-ginger and lavender selections were excellent. All of the food that we ordered was delicious. The grounds are lovely and we got to tour the temple, too. If you have a larger group it’s best to make a reservation.

Great options for vegetarians, we tried everything on the menu and everything turned out good - freshly cooked and healthy food options. They even use honey for their teas - we tried special fruit tea and black forest tea - both had real fruits and were delicious. Highly recommended!!

This is a secret spot that features the best vegan Taiwanese food in Houston. Do NOT skip on the fruit-flavored tea. The food has an authentic Taiwanese taste. The menu is small, there is limited seating, and they are open for lunch only. Well worth the visit.

It is pleasantly peaceful here. The food is very good. I was surprised by the vegetarian fish. I was mixed up going through the main entrance making a right instead of a left. The dining area was to the left. I would say the rating is mostly based on how pleasantly peaceful it is here. It's definitely a place for anyone vegetarian/vegan to try 🙏

very cool place, I liked my food and tea. Was great on the chilly day I went. Staff were attentive and sweet. The decorations are nice and if you come, make sure to explore the temple and surrounding area

Plenty of parking spaces. Nice atmosphere around the restaurant and inside the restaurant. Very serene with the background music and the food was amazing as well. Got the Mushroom beef noodle soup (I believe) so good and great portion basically got full. Tea was also amazing had to drink it all. Beautiful all around can't wait to go back again.

The tea is UH-Maze-Zing! Any flavor is pleasing, but my favorite is Black Forest & second favorite is Citrus. It's a place to unwind & let your woes of the world go & leave it outside. This place is quiet as it is inside the Buddhist Temple.
