My sons & I dined in at this vegan spot for Sunday lunch but there was only one vegan in the group 😏. The location was easily accessible & the vibrant decor made a pleasant atmosphere. Bunch was available but we all opted for the lunch menu. We ordered the jalapeño beyond burger, the veggie burger, & nachos. The burgers we big, juicy & flavorful. The nachos was big enough to be shared by two people. Everyone enjoyed their food (yes, everyone). There were several drink options and we tried four different aguas frescas. We tried lemonade, watermelon, melon (cantelope), & Jamaica (hibiscus). All of them were surprisingly delicious.

Legit vegan Mexican food! I've been coming here since they first opened but not as often as I like because I live in midtown and it's not very convenient for me. Every time I'm in the area I always make it a point to stop by. My husband and I's go to's are the loaded nachos and the taco plate + an extra taco. I love the pastor and husband loves the jackfruit. Everything is fresh and flavorful. Prices are very reasonable and portions are huge! Staff is always friendly. Restaurant and restrooms are always clean. Plenty of parking.

Omg! The perfect spot for the serious vegetarian. Friday, 16 Jun 1230pm. Clean restaurant,, pretty empty and plenty to eat. I ordered the vegetarian nachos with 2 proteins. TOP NOTCH!!! The server seemed a little rude and rushed us, but maybe she was having a bad day 🤔 Would have given a 5 if she had a better attitude.

I'm not vegan, so I couldn't imagine how I could love Mexican food without cheese. This place DELIVERS on flavor and traditional plates. The jackfruit tamales are delicious and the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely be back!

Wow. This is the best vegan Mexican food I've ever had. I got the taco plate with pastor, jackfruit, and soyrizo. They were all delicious! My favorite was jackfruit. I will definitely get more green sauce next time because they perfected it. They also had delicious auguas frescas (fresh drinks). I got the melon one. Yum!

This was my first time eating here and trying jack fruit. The mployee was extremely nice and gracious enough to let us sample whatever we wanted. I did get a bowl and it.was enough for two people. You choose what you want in your bowl beginning with rice, a choice of beans, a variety of protein then vegetables. It was delicious.

Love the food! We order the burrito and green enchiladas great place to dine in and a with variety of agua frescas, will come back soon to try more items from the menu, we experience a whole new view and taste for vegan.

Huge mistake not trying this place out earlier. Very well seasoned food that makes you forget its vegan. I also regret not getting an agua fresca. I guess we'll just have to come back 😅. And because I need about 3 more orders of their delicious mole fries. We got our dishes to go but would happily come back to dine in as the atmosphere of the restaurant is cute.

Very clean restaurant food is fresh and the staff is very welcoming and helpful. The mango juice is a little too sweet for me but hey its not a deal breaker just add water.

We got the tacos, flautas, and quesadilla here. All three were amazing in their own right and the beans and rice side was very flavorful as well. Maybe the best vegan Mexican food that I’ve ever had - this is a must try

Extremely Good Vegan Mexican! Beautiful atmosphere and very clean. “Soy chorizo” & “Pastor” proteins were authentic. Mural on the wall and piñatas hanging from the lights were a nice touch.

I love this place. Especially the vegan nachos. They are a whole meal that you can share in a date. I got the works on mine. Guacamole, potato chorizo, pico de gallo, rajas, mushrooms, cashew sour cream, and more. It was delicious!!!

The food is delicious the service is fast and friendly. The ambience is good. In a strip centre just off Sam Houston Parkway in midst of the international district ample parking. The menu is chuffed with Tex-Mex favourites all vegan. This food is worth leaving the loop. The food inspired with little twist on a standard that makes this worth the trip the prices are reasonable . I had a Michelada garnished with cucumber was excellent. The nachos were amazing chuffed with multiple toppings . This is a first choice

I cannot stress how amazing this place is. I moved to Houston less than two months ago and I've eaten here four times 😅 I never wanna try anything else bc I don't think it will be better than Veegos. I got the burrito twice, the breakfast burrito once, and just tried the veggie burger. I'll try something else next time. Make sure you get some of the spicy sauce. Literally put that on anything.

Took my non-vegan friends to this vegan restaurant and they absolutely loved it. The options were great and everything tasted delicious. Definitely will be going back!

I honestly did not know what to think upon coming to this place… I thought I would try out this vegan restaurant. It was super tasty & it absolutely blew my mind! I had the jackfruit taco plate with rice & black beans. I definitely recommend this restaurant & I will certainly be back if I'm on this side of town in the future.

We go often for reliably great vegan Mexican food. The owners are very nice and the staff are very helpful. We’re never disappointed.

Everything was very good, but I'm docking a start because if the high price. The torta was phenomenal. The portion was actually large and came with fantastic curly fries. The quesadilla was really good, but was tiny on comparison. It did come with rice and beans which were actually outstanding on their own. Lastly, the mole fries were very interesting. The mole was slightly sweet, with hints of nuts and cacao. It was a good compliment to the saltiness of the fries and cheese. Lastly, the agua freacas were super tasty. They were super sweet tho, but water down are pretty good. Overall, I highly recommend this place. The price is definitely high, but the food tastes fantastic.

Visiting from NY, my son took us to this amazing Vegan Mexican restaurant. The setting has a fast food dining feel, but don’t let the fast food feel deter you from visiting. There’s plenty of dinning in tables to chose from. You can build your own bowl, nachos or tostada with several vegan protein choices from the buffet style set up if you’re on the run. You also have plenty of tasty entrees from pozole, quesadilla, flautas & plenty other original Mexican dishes. I had the enchilada entree which was served with 3 enchiladas and each had a different protein, my choice to try each different protein. I also had all their salsas, red chille, salsa verde & mole where you can taste the chocolate. All the items are made with clean ingredients. I recommend you go and investigate and let your palate explode.

Awesome food, vegan or not. Just try it. Definitely coming back. Employees deserve some raise, don’t let them go 😜

Definitely will come back, the online ordering system was very straightforward and easy. When I got inside someone kindly directed me to the online orders cart as I’m sure they recognized I was lost. So very good! I tried a bowl with black beans, jackfruit (which I never had before), poblano and mushrooms lettuce cilantro and onion. Also with a side of curly fries. The taste of the bowl reminded me of Sweet Greens in its freshness. Interesting I got that same kind of feeling as they’re both vegan restaurants.

What an amazing place to eat vegan food!!!! My nachos were huge and flavorful. Includes two scoops of protein all veggie choices, plus topped with all the fresh toppings. Cream was also vegan 😱 it was delicious. Staff was great and explained all your choices. I will definitely be back.

Delicious food at a great price. My daughter ordered the make your own bowl and I ordered the make your own Nachos, let's just say the amount they load on beats Chipotle any day. The Sauces and salsa are addicting. Makes you want to buy a jar and slop everything in them. If you haven't tried, you must make time. 🤤

Verges is hands down one of the best vegan places I’ve been to in a while. Everything we got was great! They also have an array of agua frescas and lemonades that were so good. Definitely give them a try.

First time here, the food and service were amazing!! We ordered a single jack fruit taco, flauta plate and the pastor quesadillas. The jack fruit meat was my favorite out of everything. Also their green sauce was spicy and really good!! Everything was hands down delicious!!

This was my first time going here I am not vegan but wanted to try a vegan place on my fast and it honestly hit the spot, it was so delicious. I got the nachos and they were remarkably good, all of the protein options were good as well, the texture was different but the seasonings were great. I definitely recommend for anyone whether you're a meat eater or avid vegan.

Some of the protein options were not fresh. The amount of meat to tortilla serving is less than what other taco places serve. Not a kid friendly place as there are TVs with half naked woman on them throughout each misic video.. Everything else is good. Convenient place to our home. Unfortunately, I would drive a mile or 2 more.

First time here. Go the vegan jackfruit tortas. Nice crispy torts. Others tried the nachos, bowls. Everything was very good. Balanced flavors and really good textures. The staff was really friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back when on this side of town. Employees wearing masks and outside eating available.

Only rated 5 because I can’t give it 6 stars! Great food options and good portions. Nachos are the bomb and everything on the menu tastes great. Staff is always friendly and informative about the menu. Never had a bad experience and been coming for a really long time. Sopapilla cheesecake is the way to go for dessert too!
