Ate here for lunch. Hadn’t been here in about 2 years since they closed the 290 location down. Food was good, service was good BUT the prices have gone way up. I spent almost $20 for a lunch bowl with no drink!! Insane. There was a table of about 5 people seated next to me and I could hear them complaining about the prices as well. Seems like the prices have gone way up and the bowls have gotten smaller.

This is the most disappointing genghis grill I have ever visited. The host and waitress were the best thing about this place. The bathrooms were disgusting. The food bar needed cleaning and restocking. Both cooks were unattentive when I approached the grill with my bowl. I asked if they had a missing from the bar (sausage), and I was told no. The shrimp were extremely small.

If you like to build your own this is the place to be! Wide variety of meats and veggies along with yummy sauces. Be prepared to get a Togo box for left overs ! I got a large bowl with shrimp, steak, chicken and crab 🦀

This restaurant is almost identical to HuHot but just not run as a buffet. You can vary the size of your plate so that it is cheaper if you really not that hungry and don't need lots of food. HuHot might be a better option if you really have a lot of hungry younger teens.

The food is fresh and incredible! The problem is that you must go with someone that's been there before to know how to do things. This restaurant is a one of a kind in my opinion. They do things very different. It is unique and delicious and keeps you coming back!

I have loved this restaurant since I first went to one in 2014 in Georgia. Since then, I have had the pleasure of enjoying my trip every time I have gone…until now. Was the food good? For the most part. It was not up to the usual deliciousness I am used to at GG. But can someone please tell me WHY this franchise has chosen to start using paper bowls and cheap, flimsy, tiny plastic ware?!! If washing dishes has become just too much, how about at least getting better quality disposable stuff?? I asked repeatedly if it was from corporate or was this franchise specific, and she would not answer me. Either way, not returning here. Will choose to spend my money at restaurants that give me a big girl fork for my $20 lunch.

Not so impressed with the last couple of visits. The prices have gone up again, the sauces have changed and the portions seem smaller. (Ordered a medium bowl) This location also tends to have a dirty mopped floor smell every time we go. I probably won’t return to any Genghis grill anymore.

We love this place. The food is incredibly good and we love the variety of options. The service was really amazing today. Elizabeth made sure our experience was outstanding. She was attentive and welcoming from the start. Definitely will visit this location more often.

Ask for Elizabeth for your server. She kept my drink filled and didn’t forget the lemons. Food is always good here and fast. Perfect for a work lunch or if you’re on the go and want something better than fast food. Prices are still reasonable too. $20 for medium bowl and a drink.

Elizabeth took care of us on our first visit in years. She explained everything and communicated greatly. Food was far past expectation and we will definitely return!

I love this place... so many options and you get to stuff your bowl as much as you can and then let them fry it up. A variety of sauces to add and it's just a fun spot. Customer service was cool and the guy at the bar was super friendly and cool. I should've gotten his name but he's from Alabama. Sooo hopefully y'all can find out who he is... if so he definitely deserves a raise lol It was a clean welcoming place. Check them out and enjoy They have plastic gloves. Definitely a plus.

Would it kill the staff to PROPERLY and FULLY clean their trays AND keep any flies away from their food options?!? I swear, I didn’t know if a small piece I found on one of them was either was a tiny piece of rice or some disgusting customer’s germs. Gross! ALSO, my server lied to me when they claimed that they “changed their bowls”. The bowls looks literally THE SAME whenever I’ve ordered here in the past! Liar.

Came in a little before closing and our waitress Elizabeth took such great care of us! We were prepared to come back as it was almost an hour before closing but she welcomed us in and took such great care of us. Very attentive and the food was great as always

I was quite frankly running in just before closing and requested a bowl. Things were already getting prepared to be shut down but the manager Jean allowed one more bowl to be done for the night! 🙌🏽 I was so grateful and everything was done as it should with great attitudes, attention, and love! This is your destine location… hands down! 💋

Great experience overall. Wait staff was amazing! The price however is just a little too much for me. Food was good, but not 22 dollars a bowl good.

Rude staff, food quality was not good and treatment was so bad to me and to my Mum, an old lady.....Not happy with my experience!! They also grabbed the rice from a jar and simply added it to the grilled meat..not Mongolian as far as know....Only the waiter, respectful girl, was trying her best....maybe a bad day for them but I'm not sure I can come again! Lastly- food was expensive to the quality and quantity.

The food is really delicious, the meat super soft and tasty. The attention is excellent, The waitress Karla gave us cordial attention and in our language. This is definitely our favorite place in Houston.

Very good food liked all the sauce flavors you can add in to your stir fry,we will definitely be coming back again.

Floors are slippery, I almost slipped 3 times. There was no sanitizer in the dispenser at the beginning of the line. After I put together my meal, I noticed on the app that you can add potstickers and a drink for $2.99 so I requested to add it and was told you have to do it at the initial time of ordering. Why? I didn't know it was an option. Asked to speak to manager and she tells me the same thing. I get it. I know for the future but can't you make an exception?? She mentions her DM is there currently and will ask. Comes back with an explanation of how she's just going to charge for a drink and give pot stickers free. Great, just wasn't necessary. Left having a frustrated lunch time. I'm glad she made it right but she could have done it from the beginning and saved me all the frustration.

Best place ever! Food is delicious and atmosphere is perfect. Server, Elizabeth, staff, and manager, Gene, showed great examples of excellent customer service. Also, try the rum drinks. They rule!

Usually I enjoy eating Genghis but the location I used to go closed. I tried this location and was pretty disappointed. I ordered for pick up and once I get home we realize my husbands bowl had shrimp in it and he does not eat shrimp. So you can imagine how annoyed he was. In addition to that there was a piece or raw chicken and a questionable color on one of the shrimps. This is probably the last time we eat here.

Low quality . We request pineapple and the cook said , we don’t have more . Order a tariyaki but looks like full brócoli.

I was about to give them good review it’s my second time eating here. But I saw a hair in the food and they had to redo the order. No good review from me I guess lol

Extremely disappointed in the customer service from both the service side and management. If higher ups read this, know this location doesn’t honor the coupons y’all offer on the app, they change the “terms” when nothing they proclaim is in writing. Just really bad customer service from waitress and manager. Food was mediocre. I’ve been going to Genghis grill for 10 years(not this location). I don’t think I’ll be going back. I miss the 59 location. They had good employees!
