There’s so many parks but was looking for one with swings! It’s very clean and busy around 5:00 pm! Their playground is pretty big. Tables: it was clean and very spacious. I’m not sure if you need to rent to do a party here. But lots of tables! The water park: it’s in the back and it’s pretty cool! I wish all parks had this. Parking: lots of space, won’t have problems

Tranquil! Went there mainly for the splash pad but the entire park is pretty great. Very quiet and peace at the time of day we visited

I love this place as it was our church picnic. We haven't had it in three years due to COVID. However it was like a reunion for us all to finally get together. Very nice park!

Great park to play with your kids it’s big and spacious so you don’t have to worry about being crowded and there are plenty of tables to sit on, one thing I do want to point out is that the bathrooms currently are out of order.

This park is beautiful and connects to a larger park. Nice play area for kids and covered area for parties. Mile long walking trail. You will enjoy!

There is a park and splash pad fir kids to play at, there are picnic tables with BBQ grills under covered canopies, then there is also a big covered BBQ kitchen style area with a lot of seating for like an event, there is seating on top of the hill with a beautiful view, there is also a long square shape walkway and different exit points to different neighborhoods, there is some parking inside the park gates, the park does have cameras and surveillance of the BBQ area, park and splash pad area for safety.

We will definitely be back to this park. Free small splash pad. A large and small playground. Rock climbing structure with soft bedding underneath. Sand volleyball. Lots of covered tables and shady benches. Cons: People are gross and left trash everywhere even though there are plenty of trash cans. Restrooms are there (plus!)...but use at your own risk (con)

McClendon Park is one of our favorite parks in Houston, Texas. It’s also where we had our wedding. We walked the park at least 3 times in a week. Recently, we have noticed that ground or maintenance crews are not cutting the grass or picking up the trash and dog poop’s weekly. We need for McClendon Park to get back to its beautifulness.

This is a little piece of heaven for my children . The park is huge so what you can do there is unlimited family functions, exercise, splash pad or just letting the kids play and meet other little humans it is a well kept beautiful park.... but I would not recommend on a holiday unless you have a reserved space. And get there early it gets way to busy for my taste.

Great beginner disc golf course! Also a nice area to play baseball or kickball with your friends when it's not too crowded. Playing disc golf could be annoying when there is a large crowd here. They also have a splash pad and playground for the kids here.

The water pad was really cool and kept the kids busy for hours.

Been going to this park since the day it opened! There's a nice walking trail and even a trail leading up a hill. Playground and splashpad for kids to enjoy. Lots of space to have a BBQ or party celebration. The staff that work at the park are always very welcoming as well. Note: It's always busiest on Saturdays/Sundays!

Given the location, I would have to say that this is a pretty good park. Since people don't know how to clean up behind themselves, Harris County parks and rec sends cleaning crews out at least twice a week. That keeps the park relatively clean. There is a decent amount of shaded space. The walking trail is large. There is a full sized soccer field and a baseball area. The splash grounds are open from May to September, which is nice. There are a dozen swings, a climbing rock, large slide area in addition to a toddler play area. The bathrooms aren't too gross. At least there is usually soap in the dispensers. Parking is ok, but on busier days you may have to park in the street. There is an area for ducks to hang out, so during the right seasons you can see the ducks. There is also a beach volleyball court. Overall I can recommend this park for the SW side.

Went rollerblading and strolling around. Don't be alarmed by an adorable kitty wandering around the picnic area. But I think this park is mostly for the kids to be honest or family togetherness. Nonetheless really nice looking park for advertising.

Nice experience. Went to a baby shower in the gazebo area, it had plenty of shade! There are several fun activities for your children including a small water play area, playground and a field for them to run around to play. There’s even a trail to walk. All in all great park!

A relative small park when compared to its neighboring park, Archbishop Florenza Phase II, but is power packed with fun for the entire family. Speaking of family, if you want a great place to hold a cookout, you better call to RSVP this awesome picnic area.

This is what is really great about this park - The area to walk or ride your bike or play sports in the field is spacious, well manicured, and it provides a lot of space where you don't feel crowded. The kids have an ample amount of playground equipment to play on, there's bench seating throughout, a large covered area with electrical outlets, picnic style seating, a grill and a restroom nearby. There is a volleyball court available as well as a splash pad. One downfall to that splash pad is that the benches surrounding the splash pad on not covered so you are exposed when the sun/heat is high, but the tables with benches that have covering are a little too far back for my liking because I like to be right there to watch my four-year-old the entire time. Unfortunately, it has been my experience several times that parents get a little too comfortable with leaving their children to play in these splash pad or playground area, and I have had to track some parents down because their little kids, 3-4 year olds are running off, but the parent is too busy in their phone to notice. You are going to get a mix of ethnicities here OVERALL. This is not in an overall pretentious area so you are going to get the 11-12yo/ teenager neighborhood kids hanging out here, & you might have to tell them to watch their language and/or be careful to watch out for the little ones playing, but overall it is not much of a problem. The area is kept pretty nice over all except for those inconsiderate, trashy people that like to litter...sorry, I can't stand people that litter, but it is a really nice park, & there are accessible trash receptacles everywhere. Dogs are allowed on a leash, but there are signs that tell you to pick up after your dog, as one should anyhow, but if it becomes a problem they will ban pets over all. This really isn't too much of a problem or has not been except during the 1st phase of Coronavirus quarantine when more people were getting out of the house and heading to the park. If you try to come around or after 5:00 p.m. any day of the week - parking is going to get hectic because that's when people come to get their exercise in, have games on the soccer field or football on the other side or play baseball so plan accordingly!!
