Was such a fun experience for the husband and I. You have to purchase tickets in advance, I purchased tickets 3 hours before going. If you go early you can pay for parking on the side of the building and not risk getting toed like what the reviews are saying. We went with an early time (9:30) to beat the crowd and boy are we glad we did, we had an amazing experience and had no issues using the cameras or having the photos delivered after our visit. In each room they have a sanitizing section. There is a room that requires you to take off shoes and jewelry so bring some socks if you’re wearing opened toed shoes!! The whole staff for each room were so kind and helpful! Loved loved loved this place.

Awesome experience. Daughter and I loved it. Super cool time. Rooms were awesome plenty of staff to help you out. It was simple to move through the rooms without getting lost. Lots of places for pictures. Not only your own but photo stations at several exhibits from them. Make sure not to lose your QR code square to utilize it. They send you the pictures though email with your card for free. Snacks along the way were tasty as well. There is no parking so we had to park in the shopping center near by and walk but it's not far at all.

The price fits the area (iykyk)..but the experience was great! I know the kids wanted to stay longer but the ball room was getting crowded and we had to move along to the rest of the tour. The free ice cream was a surprise and the staff was patient, accommodating and courteous

Amazing experience! Was in doubt due to the price, but it was money well spent. Employees were very friendly and approachable. They give treats throughout the experience and photos that you take with their cameras, are sent to your email! Highly recommend! Will definitely be back.

Had a blast at The Color Factory! Great for all ages! Would definitely recommend to all! It was indeed very colorful and exhilarating. My favorite was the ball pit. I enjoyed the snacks they provided visitors with. The Color Factory was also reasonably priced. I've been to multiple installations around the nation, including DC and Los Angeles, and this was definitely a favorite. I also used the valet service as well and I must say, the experience was exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by friendly and professional valet attendant who guided me through the parking process. The parking area was well-maintained and clean, and the valet attendants handled my vehicle with the utmost care. I felt confident leaving my car in their hands. The pricing for the valet service was reasonable.

Last week, during our visit to Houston, my family and I had an amazing time at Color Factory. Not knowing what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised by the unique experiences in each room, and the high-quality pictures captured by the cameras. My kids especially enjoyed the purple dancing room and the room filled with balls. Personally, I also loved the dancing experience and trying out the rose-colored glasses. We all had a great time, smiling and capturing memories with the provided cameras as well as our own. Although the treats offered were not to my taste, it was still a nice gesture to be offered something. Overall, it was a fantastic experience for the whole family.

My sister and I visited The Color Factory this weekend. It was so fun. Each room had something exciting and beautiful about it. I loved all the treats and surprises. Even after seeing many pictures on Instagram, everything was still a big surprise. Well worth the admission price, just a crazy fun experience.

It's a trend.. so people will eat this up. But for the price and how many rooms they have..... Not worth it. My two friends and I couldn't find parking.... Then when we got there people asked us if we bought tickets (4 separate times) ... Then we went in with a hugeee group of small kids..... It's cute... But I'm not a teenager or younger. .... Took us 30 mins to go through... I don't think I'll go back.

Color factory is a nice place to visit and have fun time for kids and adults. Thought process for this place is unique and you will get pictures clicked which you can print on the spot and available in your email too. It takes 1 to 2 hr time but worth it

Fun place to explore. They have rotating themes with the current one being Flowers in Bloom. The staff is so helpful explaining the different rooms and what to look for in each. If you have a sweet tooth, you’ll find plenty of candy and ice cream waiting for you at the end of your visit.

Most amazing experience in my life. Me and my boyfriend celebrated our 2 year anniversary and this was the perfect place. Something about this art museum that engages all your senses makes you feel connected. A perfect place to take a lot of pictures and they provide some snacks and little gifts. It’s pricey but worth it!!

First time at the Color Factory, overall great experience. Really cool rooms to explore and enjoy the different colors. Very interactive for adults and kids. Camera in just about every room to capture your moments. Plus, they offer some goodies, candy, and ice cream in a few of the rooms. We all had a great time at the Color Factory.

What an exciting place! So many great pics, and a wonderful family time! The workers knew what to say, but wish it would've been more info on some of the places! Every room had a different theme, which was neat.

Fun experience for both kids and for adults who still like to have fun and be silly. The silent DJ room has such a fun vibe and would be a blast with a large group of friends. There are sweet treats between stations/rooms and the staff are all very kind and accommodating. I am already planning with friends to get them to come back for the upcoming Halloween/Fall experience (Haunted Hues).

I came here on my birthday and I’m so happy I did. It was such a wonderful time. Don’t rush the rooms. Take it all in and enjoy each one before you move onto the next. I loved the professional photos that you could take in each room. It was like your own little photo shoot. But don’t lose the QR code they give you otherwise you’re out of luck and you won’t be able to take more photos. Enjoyed my time here, definitely recommend!

I wasn’t exactly sure what I was going to get out this but upon leaving it was a great experience. The laughs, the smells, the confetti in places confetti doesn’t belong. ;) Each room differs from the other and each one allowing you the ability to stay as long as you like, they will tell you to not feel pressured by other groups around you and I’d say follow that advice and take the time to create your memories. Our entire visit took about 90 minutes, I’d say to leave pretty much anything you absolutely don’t need outside, and get ready for a few treats. The only real issue I had was parking, it’s incredibly limited so arrive on time but not to early and it’s $10 just outside the door, and the street that the museum is on is/was under construction when we visited but I suppose that can’t be helped.

10/10 would do again. If you are one for taking pictures this is the spot. Tons of photo ops. If I had to describe it is a mix of willy wonka mixed with instagram. It starts by scanning a QR code and then each room has different vibrant creative themes and scanning stations to get the best picture. Along the way they give cute little snacks that compliment the previous room. You go at your pace, even going fairly quickly it took a solid hour to get through everything. Plan to visit again and bring friends. Bonus the QR code you get to keep which has every photo you took and that's FREE! You can download anywhere!

The color factory was quite a whimsical experience. I went with a group of friends and we were escorted into the first exhibit according to the time slot we purchased tickets for. We were given QR codes that we could use to scan at each exhibit and the in house cameras captured your photograph. That was convenient because I didn’t have to pull out my phone every five seconds. We were able to take our time at each exhibit and enjoy the photo ops. Even though we went on a Saturday, it wasn’t overly crowded. The last exhibit was a giant ball pit which as expected, smelled like feet. It was still enjoyable and brought me back to my childhood when times were simpler and care free. I didn’t see a place to sanitize yourself once you were done, so bring your own if you don’t want to feel filthy. We received an ice cream cone and small prize at the end which just added a spark of joy to top off the experience. This was an overall enjoyable time and I would consider coming back.

This was a lot of fun! The ball pit was hard to walk through and I wouldn’t recommend to anyone with bad knees or feet. I will definitely return to this place!

Very chill experience for Sunday funday for the kids. It was nice that the QR pictures are free and offer a unique perspective. I regret not taking more. This place is perfect if you have an hour or so to burn and want something unique to do.

Such an amazing experience. We bought tickets for midday on a weekday and hardly saw anyone else, which made it a much more personal experience. All of the staff were so helpful and friendly (AND saved us from getting towed). It’s great for families, friend groups, or a fun date! There are many photo opportunities and a way to print some at the end for a fun souvenir. They were accommodating of sensory issues (light, sound, etc) and there’s lots of staff walking around to help you if you need. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and clothes you can be active in. The temperature of each room changes a lot, so maybe bring a sweatshirt as well. Oh, and don’t accidentally put your prescription glasses in the glasses return in the Rose Colored Room!

Color factory was so much fun!!! This was a great way to start our trip and I’m glad we did. The rooms are interesting and behind each door is something new to experience. My favorite room was the ball pit and at the end of that you can get either black hole ice cream or butterscotch ice cream along with a free gift. The room that has the huge “MAGIC” behind us works with the electricity made by your body and they also take a gif of you. I would highly recommend this space. It was $45 per person.

First time been here and had super fun with my girls. Appointment is needed when you walk inside the building. If you dont hace reservation, you can go online and make one . The wait time not too long. We will go with the group about more than 10 people. I saved a lot pics. Oh, dont forget the ice cream before you leave 😉

So much fun! I love being surprised by what's in the next room and the uniqueness that awaits. It's very interactive and even has free treats throughout your adventure (jelly beans, taffy, ice cream, etc.) You also get photos included from each room should you choose but they also allow you to take your own. Only downside was the amount of children; I get it, it's a fun museum, but it'd be great if they offered adult-only times each month or something like that. Also, there's never a need to bring screaming infants to places like this, so there should definitely at least be an age MINIMUM.

Parking was very hard to find. I recommend to park at Pinstripes which is across Kirby and is about $6.00 for 1.5 hours. The color factory offers little food treats in some rooms, followed by Black Hole ice cream after the ball pit. Be careful to not lose belongings in the ball pit. Has a lot of opportunities to take photos which are emailed to you. Very cool place, but pricey. One hour is enough to enjoy everything. There is a small gift shop.

Definitely peaks at one of the best things I’ve done in Houston. Super fun experience for couples and kids. I would 100% recommend. Definitely go before 3pm and yes, pay the money for the photos. You won’t regret it.

What a delightful way to enter the weekend! Color.Full and interactive! I loved this place and the silent disco room was a vibe all its own... definitely my fav. 🕺🏽🎉 Aaannnnd, you get delicious snacks along the way. What's not to LOVE?! This place should certainly be on your list to experience when you are in Houston! xoxo

Such a fun time for adults and kids alike! Leave your troubles behind and get lost in colors and sensory projects. The blackhole icecream was delicious! We spent most of our time in the confetti room. The Lite Brite room and the dance room were my absolute faves. The ball pit was really fun also!. Sometimes as an adult it's hard to relax and have fun. This place takes care of that. Definitely worth the experience! And the best part is you get a lot of pictures but don't even have to use your phone.

What a wonderful experience. I started my day a bit down and this color filled and soul full atmosphere brightened up my day. Parking was inconvenient to say the least but the colorful surprises along the way made it worth it. Smile and enjoy!

Fun date night. Lots of neat interactive displays. Staff is polite, though hard to understand from under silly face masks, they are polite and helpful. The treats were pretty cool too. Its worth the drive and price is reasonable. Fun half a date night with restaurants in the area to keep the night going.

I visited the color factory on a Monday in the middle of the day with a few friends. We bought tickets in advance, and planned as directed to park across Kirby in the parking garage. (Valet parking in the garage was for $10, and one in my group self parked for $9.) Luckily we had a small group go through at the same time as us. It really is a delight. Bring your laughter and be prepared to laugh and laugh and enjoy every minute. The ball pit should be infamous for anyone over 40. It is really hard to get up if you accidentally fall over. Definitely bring your camera phone and plan to take pictures, as well as use their photo booth setups.

  • 5/5 Yudid G. 1 year ago on Google
What a fun experience! When getting tickets I originally thought it was too pricey but happy to report it was well worth it. We went early on a Sunday and it wasn’t very crowded. We were able to go at our own pace which was helpful with our toddler. So many cute pictures and I love the set up cameras in all the rooms, a couple were broken but it didn’t matter, we still got so many! My son is 3 and it was the perfect age, I think it would have been harder if he was younger, no cap on age for who can enjoy though.

  • 4/5 Rachel R. 9 months ago on Google
This place is great to get to know the city and its "colorful" take on it. I loved the treats and little gift shop at the end. There were a few areas I didn't get to complete because some groups stayed in that area, and I couldn't get to it as more people were piling in. Would recommend better timing or monitoring of people throughout the different sections to make sure you get the full experience. Are there private tours?!?

❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤🤍🩷🩵🩶♥️ Colors colors colors everywhere!! Fun place for kids and adults.. anyone would love the experience inside. Book your tickets before and come early to find a proper parking spot. Towing enforced at the nearby commercial premises..

We went here together for the first time on vacation in Houston and it was so much fun! We’re both in our mid twenties and probably had just as much if not more fun than the kiddos. You get free digital downloads of all your pictures or you can also print them out for $7 each we opted for both but we did have trouble with the printer.

Great time today its definitely worth it!!! My kids And 57 year old sister truly enjoyed it only bad thing I can say about the entire day is we had a staff member yell at my 3 year old for throwing A BALL in the ball pit 😳 AND THEN CONTINUE TO BE ARGUMENTATIVE WITH ME AFTER I GOT OUT AND ADDRESSED IT AND TELL ME THAT SHE WAS MENTALLY HANDICAPPED WHICH I DON'T BELIEVE BC SHE LOOKED ME RIGHT IN MY EYES AND ARGUED WITH ME THE ENTIRE TIME I SPOKE WITH HER I didn't appreciate that at all and it did have an effect on our day but the rest of the staff was super nice and we enjoyed all the pictures and snacks we got! Beautiful experience take the whole family and enjoy every step of the way!!! Don't go with the crowd and rush to truly enjoy each moment in every room until your ready to go to the next!!!

Color factory is super fun! There were a lot of kids when I went but honestly I think people of all ages could have fun here. I took my family while visiting and we all had a blast. Its definitely a very unique experience so I highly recommend checking it out.

  • 5/5 Margarita S. 10 months ago on Google
I loved spending time here with my granddaughter! This is not the place that entertains you, it is the place that creates the environment for you to entertain yourself 😄. We threw confetti, took tons of pictures and jumped into a ball pit. We did "color portraits" of each other and ate black ice cream. We also appreciated the amazing opportunities this place provides for Instagram pictures. It isn't cheap, not for those who are after a bargain.

My family had such an amazing time. I may have enjoyed it a little more than my toddler and that's something I can live with. The staff were so professional and friendly and we enjoyed each and every room. I'd highly recommend this for a date night. You'll need to purchase your tickets online so do so in advance.
