House museum once owned by a leader of the Whiskey Rebellion. Objects and clothing show what late 18th Century life was like. Across the street is the Whiskey Rebellion Center which tells the history of the people and why the rebellion happened. The staff at the house present the tour via costumed living history and are friendly and very knowledgeable. Admission is free and donations encouraged. Highly recommended.

The museum went above and beyond in scheduling a last minute visit for us to research a school project. Our docent provided helpful hints and spent quality time with my daughter. A small, but very well presented, visitor center for the Whiskey Rebellion should not be missed.

The David Bradford House and Whiskey Rebellion Visitor Center are both great museums to visit. The docents are extremely knowledgeable. It's a great experience for both kids and adults. You can easily spend a few hours between the two sites.

This is a wonderful little museum detailing the life of David Bradford. There is quite a bit of history to learn about Washington county and early America here. We had a guided tour through the home and property.

The gals running this made our experience with 3 littles absolutely wonderful. We left having learned a great deal and with 3 happy kiddos who thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Our homeschool co-op visited the museum and the new visitor’s center recently, and we were all very impressed with the exhibits and the volunteers. They were so pleasant and accommodating, and the tour was very engaging even for our youngest students.

We had our wedding in the garden area June 2022. It was the perfect setting for our small intimate wedding. The house was also included for pictures . The stair case and rustic outdoor areas were perfect for pictures. The historic society were easy to work with and very accommodating. The venue was extremely affordable. Perfect for our needs. Thank you for making our day perfect.

A wonderful museum about the famous "Whiskey Revolution", Guides were very knowledgeable and shared lots of information. It is worth a generous donation as they don't charge.

The ladies, dressed in period costume, were very knowledgeable, friendly and encouraged questions. A wonderful experience. A museum where the artifacts were frequently at your fingertips - though respectfully not touched.
