We just happened upon this place while driving through the country and I am excited to announce that this is was the best aquarium store I have ever been to! I took 73 photos because I was short on time (and money)- but it's an honestly great staff and tanks and everything! 100s of tanks! Plan to spend an hour or two here.

Premier location for fresh water and saltwater aquatics in North East Ohio. Live stock is well taken care of. Store contains a staggering amount of products (include niche products) Pricing on fish & coral is good. Pricing on products is a bit on the higher end of the spectrum, but often cheaper than their small business competitors. Their acrylic work is second to none. Worth the trip

Amazing selection of freshwater fish and plants! Expect to get lost looking at the huge variety. An entire cichlid room, Great prices on plants and hardscaping! Definitely the best place in Northeast Ohio for the aquascaping hobby.

Aquatica is another favorite of ours, Steve runs a great business, fish are Absolutely stunning , healthy ,great size and at fair prices.Very Organized and clean ,employees are very friendly and knowledgeable, They will go the extra mile to accommodate you, The employees are always cleaning if their not waiting on people , I've had a young man carry fish to my car , had another gentleman load my car up with used tanks . This is by far THE Best Aquarium store around. They have everything a serious hobbyist would ever need ! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The stock of merchandise is equal to none....and the fish selection is unbelievable. It is worth the drive to the country to experience this store and staff. No need to go elsewhere!

Went there to pick out an anemone. The one I wanted was stuck to a rock and they couldn't get him off....so they scooped up another one and threw it in the bag. Not only was it not the same kind but it was dead and smelled. I'm so disappointed because I'm out $60 and no refund.

I drove up to the cleveland area from Wadsworth to check out the fish scene up here and was disappointed with this place. Saltwater was overpriced and employees just kept trying to sell me things I wasn’t interested in. That’s what happens when you try to just push sales

This place is a hidden gem in the Cleveland area, without Aquatica we wouldn't have our amazing collection that means the world to us! Thank you for the years of great service, I cannot recommend this place enough! They have a huge freshwater selection of anything you need to have an awesome setup, it's hard to find a place that puts this much care into what they do.

Few months ago I took some fish in for some store credit they were 8 8in silver dollars, 4 regular and 4 red hooks which are pricey. They gave 80 for all of them when I bought the red hooks 90 (30 dollars a fish). I later came back to the store to see them sell both the regular and red hooks for 70 each! Kind of feel a little betrayed but I still want to work with them cause I value them as good store. The fish were there for just about 3 months i brought them there cause they would of been bought a while ago you just got them hiding behind all the clutter they aren't that big you already have a giant red hook there not for sale.

This store is amazing, I can't say I have a ton of experience with fish stores as I'm New to the hobby, but it has eventhing I have on initial want list. Definitely worth a trip if your like for anything fish related .

Ok...so this place came highly recommended and we went out on sunday to check it out. Was looking for a fish tank cabinet and it was our last hope... Pulling into the lot was, well, underwhelming to say the least....gravel parking lot, stuff kind of 'around', the building looked just old... We opened the door to enter and, well, it was not what I expected...there is STUFF everywhere! Tanks, fish, filters, media, fish, rocks....EVERYWHERE! It was so cluttered in there! And dark... but all in a good way. They have everything you ever would need and any fish you could think of! And coral's and...and....and.....endless! All the way up to the ceiling! Literally. We left with everything we needed and more, and WILL be back next week to finish things up!! Thanks for the great customer service and, well, unique experience otherwise :)

The people at this place are not as knowledgeable as they seem. The advice I was given, which was followed to a T, resulted in a fish which was in perfectly good health dying, still an issue with snails, my frog on the brink of death and a major alge problem. I would not seek any advice from them. I had already done extensive research on what I needed to do and was swayed in a different direction, which I told them I didn't think was going to work. The worst happened! Will NOT be returning!

Aquatica is the best! Healthy livestock and clean tanks. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. The owner, Steve, is fantastic. If you need anything aquarium related, Aquatica has it. The selection is great. Abundant saltwater and freshwater livestock. From corals, to plants, oddball fish, and aquarium basics, Aquatica has it all. I have been to many fish stores in Ohio and other states such as California, and Aquatica is by far the best store.

We have been here a few times now. We have purchased fish and a pleco, as well as slate for our axolotl tank and for our gourami tank. They have fresh water and salt water animals. They have live coral, tanks, stands, decorations, filters, fish food, knowledgeable staff and a dancing bird for entertainment as well! Prices are not bad as well. Highly recommend!

Well I drove over an hour on Sunday in hopes of spending a few hundred dollars. Looked around very nice selection I will say that. But customer service was very poor. Waited for help for about 20 minutes then finally someone asked if I needed help. I said yes then he said well it’s going to be a while so I patiently waited even longer was there a hour and never received help on fish I wanted they had 2 to 3 employees helping one customer get a fish literally one fish it was a 12 inch or so shovel nose cat fish. But come on 3 guys??? I worked at my buddy pet store and caught big fish for people by myself . In like 5 minutes. On top of that they really had very little knowledge on what they are even selling. I know good employees are hard to come by these days trust me I know but this was really disappointing. Ended up going to rms aquaculture about 15 minutes up the road and got great help from knowledgeable people.

Awful customer service. Used to go to this place about once a week b/c it was the only decent place to get saltwater products. Not anymore, store would not return a defective bucket of salt mix that left tons of undesolved minerals in my water. Said I had to call the manufacturer, that they don’t make the salt and it’s not their problem. Will be purchasing my products online from now on since I can actually get my money back if something is defective.

Beautiful and large gallery. I can't think of anything they didn't have - it was incredible. I got 3 Scarlet Badis from here and I love them. I believe I even got a female. The workers were very helpful and friendly.

I came in looking for some german blue rams and apistogramma. While the rest of their fishstock was amazing, there were only two female black rams. Customer service was great, however! My biggest complaint is that the hours are way too limited which forces the density of customers to be too high when they are open. I wasn't comfortable at all, and left as soon as possible as there were entire families there despite the 2 people limit per party. I would have liked to look at their hardscape and other inventory. They should allow you to make an appointment to come in when it's not busy or open up sooner in the day. Otherwise, I'm not coming any time soon.

This is DEFINITELY my go-to place. Very clean, and the staff are ALWAYS super helpful and friendly. Love the selection of saltwater and freshwater fish, corals etc... You guys ROCK and you know it!! Keep doing a great job!

Cool fish there but not a lot of parking space. Store crowded and not much room to walk and employees just cut you off and walk right in front of you. Don't even bother to say excuse me.

We went in very excited to finally visit this place as we are an hour away! I purchased a bunch of plants and fish food as well as decorations for my aquariums! I spotted a beautiful betta that was in a separate tank and it was marked $12.98, and asked the lady if she could bag it for me, as I fell in love with it! She was happy to grab a bag and help me, however, she then told me the fish was priced wrong and it was $19.98, and asked if I still wanted it. I said “you should honor the price that was marked on it”, and she said “no, sorry!” So I was disappointed in the fact that because I was spending over $100, and drove all that way, they wouldn’t just accept their mistake and give it to me at that price. Overall, the place is nice. But not a good first experience for me and my husband!

absolutely amazing I cant recommend enough, I just started owning fish this month. I adopted a beat up betta who seriously needed some tlc from a friend who couldn't afford to keep it. I knew nothing about fish but I wanted to give this betta the best life I could. Turns out he had a nasty fungal infection. I had no clue what I was doing so I drove 50 mins to ask for advice and get meds since all the local places only did salt water or didn't know know what was wrong with my fish. The girl I talked to immediately knew what was wrong and gave me the proper meds and explained how to use them what the recovery will be like. They also have every single fish equipment you can imagine. I live in the canton area and It's hard to find fish supplies were I live, if I want to go someplace local I usually have to stop at 2-5 stores before I can find everything I need. At this store all I need is 1 stop. If you are a brand new fish owner (even with one small 10 gallon tank like me) this place should absolutely be your go to fish store :)

The staff goes above and beyond here at aquatica. So far above Steve actually came to my place and hooked up my Aquatop 40 gal all in one. Speaking of the aquatop, i went into the store looking to buy a red sea all in one ( about $800 more out the door), after great and knowledgeable conversations, the aquatop was the right fit. Its not about selling you a tank or fish here, its about getting into the hobby and doing it right. Im thankful for my experience with this store as a entry level first reef tank customer, and will be hard pressed to ever purchase from another local store.

This is an amazing fish store. They have the best selection in the area for Fresh Water, Saltwater and even pond fish and other living creatures. I've been to others in the area and no one beats their selection and also quality. If you follow the fish acclimation instruction correctly and care for the fish, their fish live a LONG time. We've had great success with them. This best summer (2022) I started a saltwater aquarium and didn't know anything about it. Went here and got the BEST advice from the team. Everyone that works there is knowledgeable about fish, have their own tanks to talk to you about and are always willing to help you plan, problem solve, or learn more. I will keep going back to them for more information and fish. I have done a lot of price comparison on the equipment, and they are price reasonable well compared to what you can get online. They are not more expensive, and I like that I don't have to wait for shipping. Visit for their knowledge or their selection and you won't be disappointed. If you are looking for a specific fish, I do suggest calling ahead and asking if it's available. They will but you on a hold list if not.
