Please
read
and
answer
all
my
questions.
I
am
told
I
must
bring
my
wife
to
Ben
Taub
ER
in
a
few
days.
She
is
64
and
has
had
Glaucoma
for
years,
along
with
numerous
other
illnesses
like
uncontrollable
Type
1
Diabetes,
RA,
Crest
Syndrome,
Gastroparesis,
almost
non-existent
immune
system
and
more.
She
lost
half
the
sight
in
one
eye
years
ago,
and
more
recently
suddenly
lost
nearly
all
sight
in
her
other
eye.
A
week
ago
we
found
that
the
Glaucoma
medicine
she
was
taking
was
not
working
and
her
eye
pressure
is
44,
so
her
Ben
Taub
doctor
scheduled
a
pre-op
on
April
3,
2022
and
urgent
surgery
on
April
13,
2022
to
save
her
little
remaining
sight,
but
her
Amerigroup
Medicaid
lost
the
contract
with
Ben
Taub
on
March
19,
2022.
I
am
told
we
must
turn
in
her
Application
for
Financial
Assistance
and
supporting
documents
at
the
Ben
Taub
Emergency
Room
to
have
a
chance
of
getting
approved
before
April
3,
2022,
or
the
surgery
will
be
rescheduled
and
she
will
be
blind
by
then.
She
is
an
EXTREME
RISK
for
Covid
and
her
Diabetes
causes
dangerously
low
blood
sugars
daily
and
she
must
have
help
to
a
bathroom
every
1-2
hours.
Sitting
in
a
large
crowd
for
hours
is
an
EXTREME
RISK
due
to
her
nearly
non-existent
immune
system.
Her
patient
records
showing
the
diagnosis
of
SEVERE
UNCONTROLLED
GLAUCOMA
are
on
file
with
Ben
Taub.
How
can
she
get
her
documents
turned
when
it
is
dangerous
for
her
to
sit
for
hours
in
a
waiting
room?
Can
I
bring
her
ID,
application
and
documents
and
file
them
for
her
in
the
ER?
I
will
have
my
son
stay
with
her
at
home
and
I
will
patiently
wait
in
the
ER
as
long
as
it
takes.
I
am
her
caretaker
and
I
love
her
with
all
my
heart,
but
she
is
running
out
of
time
and
going
more
blind
every
day.
PLEASE
HELP
