Saw Brian Regan in a comedy concert. The entrance impedance is high, but the concert experience was fine. . By "impedance" I mean the effort required to enter. There was heavy traffic in the perpetually under-construction downtown. We parked in the underground garage across the street, where you have to use a slow credit card machine and park in narrow stalls uncomfortable for a vehicle. At least when you are done with that you can wait in a 100-yd line to enter the venue. :-/ . Note: don't bring your purse. They only allow tiny or clear bags. Lots of husbands running them back to the car when their better halfs learned this. . On the way in, grab a drink at prices that would embarrass a football stadium. . Seating on the floor is flat, so hope that the person in front of you is short. The seats in front of us were double sold, so we could enjoy the contact stress of waiting to see whether the couple would be displaced or the family of six. Turns out, the entire family of six had to move because those two seats were given to the couple. Interestingly, after the family was moved the entire remainder of the row was empty (they could have just moved two seats down, but...). . The concert experience itself was fine. . Not sure we'll go back, but enjoyed the two comedians.

Located at Houston downtown with wide options of parking underground areas ($12 no cash). The access is very organized and safe (metal detector), check ID for everyone +21 to get drinks. We were located at second level 204D and I consider was a good location if you don't want to be stand up most of the time. First floor I saw real fans having amazing time, but standing most of the concert (2hrs😸). Restrooms sparkling even after the concert🫧

Went here on the 10-1-22 to see Sabaton. It's a small yet pretty cool venue. Clean and nicely done. Prices were for food and drink were stupid. Even for inflation it was high. $8 for a Pepsi, so that kinda gives you an idea of what everything else cost. Still acoustics were amazing. We had top row seating and it was still a great view. Just make sure you plan for parking. I did not, and was left trying to figure out where to park last minute. I recommend the AMC Theater Parking Garage. They even had valet parking if that's your thing. So all in all. Plan for high cost on food and drinks. Know where you're going to park and you will have a great time.

Great venue if you get VIP or up top seating. For the event I went to the general admission was standing room only and it was a large area yes but people were sitting on the floor at one point. I was in the middle section up top and had a great view (see pics) also if you buy parking know the parking garages are under ground so be on the lookout for the signs and know to drive under them into the garage.

Nifty little area. Holds more people than the exterior suggests. Accommodations are present. The venue itself is pretty clean. The seats cushions are fairly appointed. A decent place to take your family based on the appropriateness of the show. Highly recommend valet if you are bringing your own personal vehicle.

my goodness get some better ventilation. it gets so hot in the pit. the rest of the venue is great. plenty of bars, couple bathrooms— a little cluttered for the merch area. but there’s a reason multiple people pass out from heat every show.

Went there for the first time for the 2023 college 3 point and slam dunk contest. A smaller space which felt more intimate. I liked the venue except that there was only one food vending space so the line was quite long.

Below 40 club looked cool but we went through it and didn’t hang out down there. Neat venue but the upper seating is pretty difficult when it comes to seeing the stage - you have to turn your body fully unless you’re in the very back. It’s like stadium seating.

We went to see Dream Theater, I like that the venue is not so big, almost intimate. It was nice, but they really stab, not gouge, your eyes out with the alcohol prices. 3 drinks cost around 45 dollars. I was made to rent a 6 dollar locker cuz my purse was "too big". Bathrooms were easy to find n around every corner! Other than the drinks being expensive we had a great time.

Easily accessible in the heart of the theater district in downtown Houston. Be sure and get parking at one of the nearby garages as street space is lacking. I recommend the Alley Theater Garage at 513 Smith for pricing and nearness. Acoustics in the venue are fantastic living in the sweet spot between smaller clubs where sound can get muddied and large arenas that often swallow the sound. Instruments and vocals are clear and distinct and volume is perfectly tuned for the space. Not really a bad seat in the house either with visual engagement of the stage easily done. Go see shows in this venue as it was made for live music!

This is my second Christian concert I have attended here and it is ok. I recently came to see Tye Tribbet put on a great show for his album “All things new” he was on fire. This review is for the Bayou Center not the artist. I brought in my alkaline water in a sports bottle for my five year old and they told us we had to take it back to the car? Make sure you do not bring water unless it’s for baby formula…? The restrooms were clean they do have chairs that have cushion. We sat on the second row and had a good view. They should provide good quality water if they do not want you bringing in your own. The concert was three hours long so we did get out late and yes we ended up getting my five year old water there although not sure of the quality.

Everyone we encountered from the parking attendants to the staff in the venue was friendly and helpful. The 40 Below spot was great! The bartender was fun and the drinks were really good. The venue had a great set up for the comedy show and we had a great time.

Love this venue, small but perfect! Franz Ferdinand really impressed me and the Pixies were awesome too. So good live!!

This venue has an awesome sound system that reflects its name, Music Center. However, the seats could be better as they are all on the same level. So, if you're quite short, make sure to get front seats. The venue is also smaller compared to the Toyota Center, so it feels intimate. Anyway, I love the sound system and the ambiance.

My siblings and I were to a TripleS concert and it was well organized. We loved the margaritas.

Attended the Trinity of Terror Tour here. We had seats in the very last row of the balcony, but the view was still incredible. The seats are decent sized and comfortable, the rows aren't horribly squished together. My only complaint is the prices of food and water. The only option for water was Liquid Death, and it was something like $5 a can.

Was small but so nice, does get hot inside if it's a hot night/day recommend bringing a small hand held fan. Otherwise even the seats up top are nice.

Great venue for intimate concerts and excellent acoustics. No bad seats in the house. It's downtown so parking is at a premium but there are lots of good restaurants around.

Was set up really nicely, the lighting was beautifully done. Restrooms and refreshments are easy to find & not far from the main event. All was clean. Has parking garage & a designated smoking area, both are close & convenient to concert. Has a nice VIP lounge with its own bar and accessible via elevator. Really a nice Cemter and I really enjoyed seeing Beth Hart there.

Great venue, parking was easy to find and venue was close to it. When we went the elevator from the parking lot to the entrance was not working, so it wasnt accessible to those who needed it and had to go around the parking garage. Also hated that the only option for water was a $5 can of "liquid death" which was insane price gouging since we can't bring water into the venue knowing that would be our only option.

I had tickets to this but the city was under a weather condition where it was too dangerous to drive on the roads. Fans were begging to reschedule but they did not cancel meaning we waited 2 years and lost the concert ticket money we spent and couldn’t even get a refund. I’m disappointed that the artist and the venue didnt care for the fans safety and took our money for a show most of us couldn’t see because of dangerous conditions..

Enjoy coming to this venue for concerts . It's also next to the hard rock cafe so before the show it able to grab a bite to eat. Their setting area is way in the back in so I would recommend getting floor tickets .

Love this venue. Love Houston. The venue is cool because it's nice and intimate but also easily accessible unlike most squished theaters. Very comfy

I am so grateful for the staff, I didn’t realize there was a clear bag policy for an event and was going to have to miss my show. The staff did absolutely everything to help me and found a way for me to check my bag. Very grateful!!

Have seen many bands here, place seems pretty clean, somewhat small restrooms, but multiple bars and open standing to enjoy the show.

  • 5/5 Philly R. 2 years ago on Google
No issues finding parking or finding a valet to park far if needed. Music center was easy to find and access. You were able to smoke inside the building and drink so it’s definitely a nice situation at this venue.
