I purchased some fish for a well established shrimp tank. Most of them were dead by morning. At first I thought it was just a bad batch of fish and asked for them to be replaced. They told me if they replaced the fish that they would most likely die as well. They helped me figure out the cause of the deaths and fix the issues I had. It took about two weeks to fix. After my tank was up to par they replaced the fish and my tank has never looked better. My plants are super green and my fish now have colors I thought were only possible in magazines. These guys know fish.

I've been going to Jamal since he started the business (for years now). His staff is knowledgeable and helpful. I used to only want to talk to Jamal for questions but I feel confident with Dalton and other staff members. Jamal is a great friend to have in this hobby. I've been in the hobby for 5 years and I feel confident in this place. If your new livestock doesn't make it, know that it's part of the hobby and not the fault of the store. It's a bit out of the way for me, but I would rather go here for my bigger purchases. When I first established my tank, I wanted two different types of clowns, so one of the guys dropped two of them together in a tank to ensure they would be good together. Although they have a huge selection of freshwater fish and plants there, I am going for saltwater only. Pricing is fair and the knowledge is awesome! Can't wait to pick up my next fish and a few frags there. They always seem to have sales around any holiday, and if it's not a holiday I take advantage of their Veterans discount. Dang, I think I will end up there this week to get some more water now

Awesome place to get all your fish and aquarium related needs. They have anything you would want and if they don't, the owner will work with you to try to get you what you need. They built my current 120 gallon saltwater setup and I could not be happier with my tank. Jamal got me everything I needed at a lower cost than most other places. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place. I've attached some pictures of my tank setup.

I'm new to the hobby because my daughter took some kind of aquatic biology glass and gave me her tank. Since then I have turned into a 6 tank home. 4 aquascape , 1 for plants (grow out clippings) and one breeder tank for cherry shrimp. I have got great advice, great help and kind service. There is great prices and it beats ordering on line anyway to talk to people. This place has become my Saturday routine and at minimum I refill my ROI jug. I advise you to go and look, plenty of choices and the coral is amazing! Maybe someday I will do salt water. Only drawback: I can't come during the week because I get off work at 5:00pm and that's when they close.

Awesome store with an incredible selection! Haven't seen quite a variety on Saltwater in any local store. Amazing quality fish at a very fair price! Would definitely recommend to anyone in the hobby!

This place had a large selection of salt water fish, shrimp and coral 🪸 They also have freshwater fish and shrimp. I was amazed at the prices. Guppies were 10/$15, fresh water shrimp were the lowest prices I’ve ever seen in a store. It’s definitely worth taking a look.

This was the first time I came to the store. Bought a lot of freshwater fish. They had a good selection and the guy catching everything did quite well. I will definitely return as I believe this now my "go to" store. Only suggestion I would make is to put something out at the sign that is more noticeable. Maybe a fish windsock or something. I passed it a couple of times before I found it.

Awesome place to get your fish, plants, and supplies. Huge selection and tanks are very clean and all the fish look happy and healthy. You’ll never go to a chain place after going here. Helpful people working there. Friendly and helpful with suggestions and answers to my 20 questions. Only have neon tetras, clown loaches, and the green phantom pleco in the pics. The dragon stone in the pic also came from here as well as about half of the plants. Going back in two weeks for a center piece fish.

Pretty cool place with various different types of fish. Had some pretty cool tanks of various sizes. The fish were kept in different lights to cater their needs, showing the attention to detail. There was an eel also that looked pretty cool. A great purchase for the house if you want to reduce stress or anxiety. Also a great way to support sustainability of the oceans!

I called before I left my house looking for a particular fish and they held it for me. I live over an hour away from the store. Once I arrived, they had the fish I a tank marked hold so I could observe it. The coral and fish tanks were clean and everything looked great. Thanks again to everyone who helped me.

Jamal hooked me up with a brand new tank, and when it arrived got me setup with new decor, plants, and sand. Never seen a tank look so good. This is the place to go for your aquatic needs. Crazy good fish selection too

Today I saw on fb that these guys carry Red top Hongi mbuna. I made the 45 min drive and it was worth it! Aestically well kept, clean and organized. Very pleased with my visit today. Kevin is an encyclopedia of knowledge

My son and I really enjoy coming here! The coral selection was excellent and the fish all looked pretty good. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I had some questions about frozen foods and got very helpful answers. One of the best local fish stores in the Houston area, and definitely my first choice.

Dry goods portion of the shop has its own massive and well lit space for finding the perfect substrate, decor, rocks, and even many brand new aquariums are available to choose from on the showroom floor. I bought a Neptunian Cube L120 lagoon tank from them and had it delivered. Everything went well from the buying experience and through to the delivery and setup. They had a nice selection of corals as well. Update: They recently did a major upgrade of the saltwater tanks. Even more selection of great fish and inverts.

GREAT PLACE!! The staff and owner are very friendly and know so much about all the animals. And when I asked about if a vampire shrimp would be ok with my ghosts they were super honest and said they didn't know, they even took the time to look it up right in front of me. Shows they really care about the animals and customers! I've been here atleast 4 times this month and each time everyone is welcoming! The place is super clean and organized as well! Definitely makes it easy to navigate as a customer

Huge selection of everything imaginable! Employees gave us lots of information and even showed my kids the neat saltwater tank fish! The employees here are always so kind and are very thorough in sharing information and educating fish owners about care and types of fish. I appreciate that they never treat us like our questions are dumb, which can sometimes happen when you get info from experts. :) Fun place to explore. Appreciate that they also take my 10 year old son seriously-as he is the fish keeper at our house! Highly recommend this great store and really appreciate the stellar employees!
