My experience was amazing! My wedding is in 7 months and Chloe was such a great help. Not only did she make me feel comfortable she matched my energy and was extremely patient with me. Although I didn’t leave with a dress, I appreciate having Chloe as my stylist. Such a great employee!

Today I had an appointment to try on dresses for my wedding and right away was greeted by everyone. Everyone was so nice especially Chelsea Roach who helped me today. She was wonderful and helped me find exactly what I wanted. I didn’t know what style or anything but she went above and beyond to help me. She was AMAZING and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND her. I will be going back for my bridesmaids and can’t wait!! David’s bridal has everything you may be looking for. Again, thank you Chelsea for everything.

I thought buying a dress here was going to be really expensive and impersonal because it's such a big chain but I was pleasantly surprised! My assistant was Stephanie and she was great! She was patient with me and my family and had great advice about what our options were! Sara in Alterations was fun and took her time to get it right! The experience was amazing, I got my dream dress and will probably be back for the bridesmaids dresses!

I was helped by Alex, and she was absolutely amazing. She picked out a dress for my beach wedding I had not even considered and it ended up being my DREAM dress. The staff were so nice and attentive. I would recommend coming here to any of my fellow future brides! And ask for Alex! 🙌🏻

I was so surprised by how easy this was! I made three appointments in one day to try on dresses for my wedding, and this was the first one. I found the dress after trying on 7 dresses and cancelled the rest of the day. Dolores was so nice to me and all of my guests, which meant a lot to me! She also worked with my timing concerns, because we had 50 days to get the dress and she didn’t show me anything that I wasn’t a possibility for me. I would recommend this to anyone, because I never expected this to be the place I found my dress but it was a great experience and easier than expected!

I have been tasked with being a bridesmaid in October. I assumed that I would be in the store for hours until I found the best dress for me "within the bride's guidelines". Chelsea proved me wrong. I had the best experience at this David’s Bridal location in Houston. I’m so thankful that I had Amanda as my bridal stylist. She went above and beyond to help me find my dream dress. Even so far as to give me her hair tie out of her hair so I could see what my dress and veil would look like. I had 2 appointments with her and the first one the dress was beyond wrinkled. You could tell it was tried on a lot. The next day Amanda had steamed the dress and went out of her way to make sure the dress was in as best shape as she could for me to try on. She’s upbeat, kind, respectful, and hard working!! I didn’t feel like she was selling me the dress for a sale but truly helping me find what looked best on me for my big day. If you go to this shop you should DEFINITELY request Amanda. The shop itself could use a deep carpet clean or replacement and it does get crowded with people trying on dresses so close to you with their entourage. I would suggest going during the week. Their selection of jewelry and accessories are more slim but they were happy to accommodate me bringing my own. However if you want an amazing stylist and affordable dress I would recommend to look here.

I was not planning on trying on dresses today but I saw David's Bridal and said, what the heck, why not?! This was my first time walking into a bridal dress store since my engagement and I really didn't think I would be trying on dresses. I just walked in to browse. To my surprise, I didn't need an appointment to have someone help me. Miranda was so amazing! She made every dress I tried on look beautiful. I had been stressing so much about the wedding dress and I'm so so happy that I now have my top three dresses to choose from. Thank you so much Miranda and team. I had an amazing experience.

BEWARE of David’s Bridal @ 4520 San Felipe St. Suite 10, Houston, TX. Went to have dress altered for mother of bride, the dress was to have a small train on the dress. However, when I returned to pick up the dress, it was tapered evenly around without the train as requested. Sad part is that the alteration manager (Sara)was the one taking measurements and pinning. I reached out to store manager, Lola and she act as if she was not concerned of my issues. Customer service at the store was good, but my suggestion is for you not to use alteration dept, they are ridiculously expensive and unhelpful with assisting. It was an expensive lesson but definitely will not happen again. Rest assured, nothing personal with the company, we’ve bought 2 wedding gowns and had them altered with no issues, so you’re receiving a fair warning to not go to this location and if you do, be careful of who tends to you. Now I definitely see why they want the money up front, they don’t guarantee their work. Highly disappointed,

Roaa was my stylist and from immediately meeting her she understood my vision and quickly pulled gowns. I had other appointments booked at higher end boutiques later in the day that I canceled because my experience at DB was so fantastic! I left with my dream gown off the rack and am excited to go back for my alterations appointment. Thank you Roaa!

I had Sofia help my mom and I get a dress for a wedding. She did an amazing job ! I walked out with the perfect dress color and it fit my form very nicely! Ask for Sofia for your next visit!🤗

BUDGET CONSCIOUS BEWARE!! I got a good deal on my wedding dress itself, but that became irrelevant when I had to pay more than TRIPLE the cost I was quoted for alterations. Before I decided to purchase my dress, the alterations specialist gave me an estimate on what the alterations would cost. She mentioned she had a lot of experience working with this particular dress and quoted $220. During my follow up appointment, after a one hour fitting, the same alternations specialist came back with a cost of $707, more than the cost of the dress! I was in an impossible situation. I really had no option as I had already bought the dress and the wedding was less than 3 months away. I understand not being able to give an exact quote at the initial appointment but to be so far off on a dress she had experience working with feels unethical, given I really have no choice but to pay it. I provided this feedback directly to David's Bridal, highlighting they really should have some responsibility to come closer to honoring their estimates. I thoughtfully considered my budget for the dress, and if the initial alterations estimate had been anywhere in the ballpark of the actual amount charged, I would not have purchased the dress. In the end, all I got from “DB Cares” was an apology “for the inconvenience” and the manager handled my subsequent fittings herself. The manager was lovely, but unfortunately that did nothing to alleviate the financial burden (not just an “inconvenience”) they created by completely misrepresenting the cost of alternations. And because of that, I DO NOT RECOMMEND purchasing through David’s Bridal.

I had a great time at the store yesterday! The staff was amazing. I was able to bring all my friends, which made the experience extraordinary. Mercedes, the stylist who helped me was amazing, she was so sweet, patient and gracious! Nawja, the store manager was beyond my words! Thank you David Bridal for such an incredible experience ❤️

Literally the most beautiful I have felt as a woman my entire life. I'm so thankful for the 2 ladies who helped me Abigail and another new worker shadowing her. There were both lovely and incredibly helpful and truly made me feel special.

I had such an amazing experience at this location. I visited The Woodlands location the weekend before and got very little help from the staff but my experience with Roaa at this location was terrific! She helped me every step of the way and when I was in the fence of what dress to choose, she added the perfect little details to help me make the final decision and feel like a true bride! The staff from alterations were extremely helpful as well and offered great insight. I can't say enough to express my gratitude!

Staff was wonderful! Located the dresses I wanted quickly and effortlessly. Made me feel special and gave me plenty of attention as I shopped for my special day. They had great recommendations, seamstress came to offer me suggestions. I ultimately went with a gown somewhere else, but I purchased a second gown from David’s and was pretty close to buying their whole store because they put me in some truly FANTASTIC dresses! At very affordable pricing!

My stylist, Sofiia, was phenomenal. I came in late Friday, had no idea what I was really wanting and we tried on many dresses. Sofiia advice and kindest was everything I needed and I loved working with her. I came back on Sunday, 100% thinking I was getting a different dress, but came back cause I wanted to see Sofiia and talk to her about it. Put back on the dress I love at David’s Bridal and really talked through the differences between my options, I haven’t decided still but over all Sofiias opinion really mattered for me cause of my experience with her! Highly recommended!!

Sophia at San Felipe was amazing! She was patient and so kind. Everyone there was helpful and welcoming!

Roaa was the most delightful stylist I could have asked for. She made me and my guest feel welcomed, she got all of the styles I asked for in my size, she made me feel so comfortable in the dressing room, she felt like one of my family members to me. I went this past weekend (08/13/23) for my alterations appointment. Sarah was such an amazing seamstress, she made sure that I was comfortable the whole entire time I was there. She made the whole process feel like a breeze(for something that is very stressful & a major key to a wedding). It was such a pleasure to work with her. She really pays attention to all the details and made sure to note all that I needed to get altered.

Roaa was amazing. She took the time to get to know me and found a dress I wasn’t considering and ended up being THE ONE! Very knowledgeable and patient. She went above and beyond until the look was complete (her and the manager Lola). I would pick her 1000 x’s over but fortunately this is one time thing. Thank you all again for helping me with the process and getting me to do the “this is it” cry

Excellent service from the moment I walked in! I was looking for a dress less than $200 that I could take home the same day and I found it!! Numerous options available with discounted prices. I also purchased the flower girl dress that complimented my dress. Highly recommend this David’s Bridal in River Oaks, Houston!

5 stars for alterations!! My dress fits perfectly! -I had a lady help me with my dress and veil and we put it all on and she added it all to my profile and my mom called to pay, no problem right? Nope the lady put the wrong veil and then the people were saying I must have done it.(rudely) I never touched it. Then when we went the girl had moved or quit and then I had to get other people to help me. Very frustrating experience, never got my she said yes to the dress pic, and would be rating the service at a 1 but the lady’s in the back pulled y’all up they deserve all the praise. You definitely need better management and staff.

I’ve been to this location 3x over the span of a week. Needless to say I was determined to find my dress. Although I did not find “ the” dress, Paola, and another young lady who helped me were patient and did everything they could to make me feel comfortable. They were not pushy for a sale and helped stay positive throughout the process. Hoping to find my dress at some point. But just wanted to leave a review for their outstanding customer service!

I had a Bride appointment and a bridal party appointment right after this past weekend. Amanda and Chelsea were the sweetest! Amanda helped me find my dream wedding dress and Chelsea helped my girls. They both were a dream! So patient, easy going and genuine. Our experience was amazing.

Chelsea was awesome! Made an appointment for a last minute bridesmaid’s dress but didn’t want to take up too much of a salespersons time. Asked her if I could try on a couple dresses I found off the rack and she was willing to help without hesitation. Great at multitasking and has a great attitude. She even got me a same day alteration appointment! Thanks Chelsea! You’re a lifesaver :)

I scheduled an appointment to try and find a dress as a wedding guest. I called the store before I made an appointment to make sure they had extended sizes on the floor to try on. A man stated they did so I made my appointment and went only to discover that was slightly true. The plus size selection was absolutely minimal for bridesmaids/special occasion dresses. They had one/two options for sizes 24 and 26. Size 22 also had a small selection as well. It was very disappointing for most of their sizes to be size 2-10 especially when online they have up to 28. The customer experience was okay. They were definitely under staffed and busy so I didn’t get that much attention. But also there were no dresses for me to try on so it was not a successful trip. I ended up walking into the woodlands location and was able to walk out that day with a dress. I originally picked the houston location because it is a bigger store think they would have more variety but that was not the case. It would be nice for the 4 wall store to have options available for plus sizes so we can try on the silhouettes instead of guessing and buying multiple dresses online to try on.

This store provided many beautiful selections vs the previous location we visited. Chelsea was so attentive and helpful with finding my best friend's wedding dress!!! She worked with all of the changes in style, color, and fashion tirelessly until she handed my bestie that bell!!!! Ask for Winter! Winter was incredibly helpful and so sweet to myself and bridal bridal party of 4. She asked each lady to grab 3 dresses each so we can know what style and size we were looking for. She was not overbearing at all rather stepped back so we can enjoy our moment. We bough 6 gorgeous dresses and everyone left so happy including myself, the bride!

Honestly, I was blown away by my shopping experience. I didn’t expect much because I knew that it’s a chain store…but wow. Not only were the prices really affordable but Allana was super attentive and found dresses that fit my style and shape. I went to another local bridal boutique and nothing could compare to the price, selection and staff at this location. I really didn’t need to go anywhere else! I came back the next day and Winter helped me with my purchase and she was super friendly too! If you’re on a budget or think thousands for a dress is ridiculous then here’s the place to go. I’ll update my review after my alterations!
